Is it done then?

Romney has 1141 delegates. That means no brokered convention and no recourse for nominating Ron correct?

He needed 5 states to be up

He needed 5 states to be up for nomination.

Then Romney would of had to of got less than 3/4ths of the delegate votes to bring about a 2nd/possible 3rd vote.

Or something along those lines.

Even if Paul had 5 states, they would of came and changed it at the last minute and said he needed 8 or 10 states.

Either way you look at it, the gop is corrupt.

The nays were much louder than the yeas on the Boehners voice vote. He cheated us.

I think it is more shenanigans.

When the RNC gets the new polls, they may reconsider.

Free includes debt-free!

I don't get it. So what was

I don't get it. So what was the point of 6 states, or 5 states or whatever?
If in the end only the number of votes count.

What were we trying to achieve with these number of states?

The rules changes went into effect. He needed 8 states now, not

5.

At least as far as I understand it.

If he still only needed 5, I don't get why if he had 6 that he didn't get a speech and his name wasn't officially placed into nomination.

No it was 5 and he had 6

however the way access to the convention is controlled you had to come in on the bus for your delegation. 3 of the states delegations that nominated Paul got driven around in circles until after the roll call vote

I think he need the plurality

I think he need the plurality for those votes to count for him.

IT'S BEEN DONE FOR A LONG LONG TIME

Y'all just ain't had sense enough to know it.If we take this country back it'll be done only one way.

Amen, I agree they had to try, but we knew it was over a long

time ago.

Perhaps now those who engaged in wishful thinking will see the light and get out of the 2-headed party and bring their energy to parties that want them.

The LP might not be the place, at least at first. I see perhaps the new Conservative Party formed in Louisiana recently could maybe be the the answer to RINOs and the Establishment.

Perhaps finally, real conservatives are realizing the GOP was not, and is not - conservative.

I expected pretty much what

I expected pretty much what happened. Just wondered if we can quit crying about it and move on yet.

So you get attacked when you see this coming...

And you get attacked when you look to move on after the inevitable occurs... At least people on here are consistent... in their inconsistency...

As far as I understand

As far as I understand Boehner (whom we need to attack in his next bid for re-election) cheated to stop our attempt at putting Ron Paul's name in nomination. I believe the goal of that is to get ever delegate to vote their CONSCIENCE and not for the "nominee". That did not happen, so much are obligated to vote for the useless Mitt.

Yes. I suppose.

Yes. I suppose.
