To Hell With Rand Paul

If he doesn't call out the GOP on cheating and declare the entire contention a fraud... I say to hell with him.

There were no nominating speeches for Ron Paul. Beyond all the other cheating this cannot be refuted. The entire vote is fraudulent.

If Rand Paul playes the smarmie good republican I say the hell with him too!

Rand is the best person we have in the senate

Let's not shoot each other.

Don't worry about Rand. I

Don't worry about Rand. I believe he has a different strategy than Ron did. His voting record hasn't changed from Ron. He is just aware that you have to do some butt kissing to get on the inside.

All you against Rand sound

All you against Rand sound like if you are some Greek soldiers at the gates of the Trogan empire yelling " NO DON'T TAKE THE HORSE ITS FILLED WITH SOLDIERS .......The Trojan Horse is a tale from the Trojan War about the stratagem that allowed the Greeks to finally enter the city of Troy and end the conflict. In the canonical version, after a fruitless 10-year siege, the Greeks constructed a huge wooden horse, and hid a select force of men inside. The Greeks pretended to sail away, and the Trojans pulled the horse into their city as a victory trophy. That night the Greek force crept out of the horse and opened the gates for the rest of the Greek army, which had sailed back under cover of night. The Greeks entered and destroyed the city of Troy, decisively ending the war.
The main ancient source for the story is the Aeneid of Virgil, a Latin epic poem from the time of Augustus. The event does not occur in Homer's Iliad, which ends before the fall of the city, but is referred to in the Odyssey. In the Greek tradition, the horse is called the "Wooden Horse" (Δούρειος Ἵππος, Doúreios Híppos, in the Homeric Ionic dialect).
Metaphorically a "Trojan Horse" has come to mean any trick or stratagem that causes a target to invite a foe into a securely protected bastion or space.

That is too drastic.

How about just purgatory for 1-2 years? Acquiring wisdom takes time.

My beef with Rand is that he could have waited-out his political foray into republicanism until after this election to honor and respect the legacy of his father. He would have had extremely good reasons to not become politically involved in this presidential campaign:

1, His father was running for president.
2. His father never officially ended his campaign.
3. His father's supporters helped get Rand elected to the Senate.
4. His father is the only member of Congress who follows the Constitution 100% of the time.
5. His father is retiring from politics.

Rand needs some time. I'm willing to wait.

Fact is,

if it wasn't for his endorsement and the campaign making a deal not to push Ron Paul's nomination we would have had a much larger voice at this convention regardless of all the shit they pulled. That alone should be enough to condemn Rand Paul.

I respect Rand and understand why he's GOP

there's something to be said for working from inside. I couldn't hold my nose and work within the cesspool but am glad there are those like Rand, Jefferson, Madison, Paul, Goldwater that are able to..Long live Liberty!!

Government is supposed to protect our freedom, our property, our privacy, not invade it. Ron Paul 2007

Ron Paul - The Revolution

Setting a good example is a far better way to spread ideals than through force of arms. Ron Paul

just go do your 3rd party thing and save us the gimmick

you actually think attacking those who choose to stay is a smart gimmick.. hilarious

My take....

it was way too early to remark the GOP needs his fathers followers if that is how he said it. I, for one, will be smarting for some time after the unethical and illegal treatment received during this campaign and convention. I am so angry and disgusted, I want to re*taliate somehow, so it sure isn't by helping the GOP.

That said, I do not want to seal our country's fate either by getting Ob*ama reelected....a quandary for sure, and the same one most of us feel after the despicable treatment of RP, his delegates, and the campaign.

It's obvious Ro*mney will only take a little longer to reach the same end Ob*ama has planned, and yes, I do know they are both puppets and so does Ra*nd. Please don't blame Rand. He's a victim too. I believe he is a good guy. There are always things "the people" don't know that goes on behind the scenes. I don't believe he has strayed that far from Dad.

Leave Britney Alone!

Brand is a big boy and can speak for himself. He and his ilk picked the fight that started the wedge. I aint watching the rally and I never will! Half of the people on that stage brought us to this end result in the first place. And now they want to tell me how they got cheated like Ron, BS!

Our strategy's core is conservative in expressing emotion that

comes across as aggressive to the "silent majority". At least that is how from my experience, that is the way to go.

Patience. It is about collecting cards that you are going to play at the right time in the future.

Each one of their f-up's, is a future card.

Darnit Rand Paul is NOT our problem- lay off him!

of course he is our problem, he endorsed Romney in the midst of the campaign when people were trying to convince delegates to vote for Ron Paul at the convention.

Are you that stupid not to think that his endorsement sealed the deal for Romney?

Regardless if you agree with

Regardless if you agree with me or not there is absolutely no reason to be so hateful!

I will reserve final judgement about this until Rand's speech.

With the convention shortened by the storm, I don't know if he will still be speaking. If he is, I will listen carefully.

Blaming Rand Paul for GOP

Blaming Rand Paul for GOP corruption is like blaming America for Washington's failures.

I am still confused about

I am still confused about Rand, and wondering if he is trying to be like some Trojan Horse trying to get on the inside or something, or if he is just a sellout. I haven't figured it out yet.

Leave Rand alone

You're taking it out on the wrong person. He's the best Senator we have. Blame Romney, the GOP, Boehner, etc. - not Rand.
