What have you done for RP today? (behind enemy lines part II)

0 votes

I'm deep behind enemy lines in the blue state of Taxachusetts. This morning the family and I got out to Ipswich, MA and we handed out 10 DVDs and approached 50 people so they heard Ron Paul's name and saw me wearing his hat and fleece.

This evening we headed over to Georgtown, MA and hit up a Toy store to get a gift for a friend, we got him a homemade chewing gum kit. While in the line I picked up a phoney $1,000,000 and a bush last day 1.20.09 bumper sticker. The guy behind the counter saw my hat and read it out loud "Ron Paul for america?". Yup thats right, I think he got the message about the funny money and the anti-bush bumper sticker.

The evening will continue the surge. I'm writing my cousins tonight 4 more DVDs will be in the mail Monday.

What are you doing? Did you support Ron Paul today in Real Life? Did you get off the computer and get into reality?

Had to defend Ron on his old articles.

I've been talking to a lot of my friends about those damn articles. I know that Ron Paul did not write them, because I did.

Organized a group of 18 RP Supporters for Canvassing in Seattle

Had a nice breakfast briefing with Maureen Moore (Lou Moore's wife) and heard good news about the campaign and were motivated to move on from NH. Let it go.

We went out in to the neighborhoods and of Ballard, talked to people on the streets and hit bars and restaurants with no tax fliers. We were able to cover at least 3 1/2 precincts before the Seahawks game started, then we stopped knocking doors. The home owners were not so friendly after the game started.

Picking up 10,000 custom printed RP "West Coast" Slim Jims tonight and will be hitting the streets all over the area tomorrow.

Just heard from our peeps in Vegas, sounds like Vegas has some cool stuff happening. When our leaders get back from Ronapaulooza we will be duplicating their success efforts up here in the Northwest.

Ron Paul is my President.

In support of the Ron Paul

In support of the Ron Paul for President, today the members of the Mesquite Texas Meetup group distributed approximately 600 Ron Paul 2nd Amendment flyers at our local gun show sale. Later I recruited two Ron Paul voters, put out my last yard sign for a new supporter, and put up my home made "Ron Paul for Prez, Secure Boarders, Sound Gold Money, Abolish the IRS, RonPaul2008.com" sign at a busy intersection beside some other candidate signs.

I called into Boortz the day after debate

Niel mentioned that a friend of his said RP was exceptional in the debate the night before. I called in to touch on that and said that it "was his best performance yet, and how Fox was asking very stupid questions, and how the establishment is scared, also how the Luntz poll crowd seemed staged when they declared Paul the loser at the same time. He asked me why I thought that, then I told him about the video that is on youtube about the plant in the crowd, the man who is in the NH after debate who was paty of Luntzes group like 3 months ago. He said "That is not good". I plugged in the fact that he is the highest recipient of donations from active duty military, he said he had not heard that, then I said "there was just a RP campaign commercial during the beak that mentioned it, he was surprised. He was very curtious and nice even though he mentioned that RP declined to come on his show and how there are alot of extremists and liberals in the RP camp, I dominated, and we left it off on a good note.

Today in Alabama

We met with about 30 other Dr. Ron Paul supporters and canvassed several neighborhoods.
My 16 year old daughter and I knocked on about 120 doors. Talked to a whole bunch of folks. Handed out a bunch of slimjims.

There is still much work to do however. We were in a 75% GOP area and still only about 75% people knew of him. and only about 25% knew enough to make a halfway intelligent decision. But the open minded people were very favorable to his ideas.

In Liberty's Cause

I, along with

a few other fellow Springfield, MO Meetup members, went door hanging. I think we tagged about 500 houses. Tonight I am downloading files so I can burn DVDs to add to my door hanging bags for my precinct.

I've said it before, but...

you Springfield, MO meetup members are doing a great job.

Thanks:)

We appreciate the encouragement.

Finally got my RP hat today (yea, FedEx)...

and went out and did some shopping with a handful of slim jims. Got a few thumbs up, handed out about 15 or so slim jims, and got into a good discussion in the middle of Winco (grocery store).

Overall, a decent day. The hat, backed up with RP material, is really good advertising.

Hi, here a great Dr.

Hi, here a great Dr. Paul-fan from the Netherlands.

Since october last year I have become addicted to all info concerning his (and your) accomplishments to change the way we are heading globally. Europe also needs a Dr. Paul; we got a European Constitution beeing stuffed down our throats, despite a tremendous resistance and without consent of the people.

A lot of Dr. Paul's messages also have great value for the European people, and I am very sorry I cannot be of greater use to your grand efforts to make him the next president of the USA. All I can do is post an item about Dr. Paul on newspaper-blogs, which I do once in a while. Be assured that all of your movements are being followed in Europe (and elsewhere) with great affection and support.

We appreciate your thoughts.

Hope you find your own Dr. No soon!

We Got Out and Canvassed-Seattle

My boyfriend and I got out walked part of a walking list as we are precinct captains. I am darn proud of us.

We also found a dandy spot for a huge Ron Paul sign.

I figure I earned my right to sit here and catch up with you all ... ;)

I love everyone for their courage and tenacity in this fight.

Thank You!

I'm glad to hear some of us were out there today to make a difference! I really appreciate the fact that I wasn't alone! We can do it guys, don't loose faith keep plugging away!

Yup

been out and about.

Handing out Ron Paul cards

Going to see a band, The Editors, tonight and am going to hand out Ron Paul business-card sized cards. And probably put them on cars as well.

My friend and I put a big sign up on a busy intersection

it was gone by the evening. So my friend took a ladder and nailed one on a light pole in the early morning hours. We also walked five to ten miles to do literature drops in different neighborhoods. Did sign waves and it was great.

Glad you were here.

Ipswitch

.
I don't know about the others, but I would personally appreciate a bushel of your clams. They are the best in the world. Ipswitch, Essex, the best.

How on earth can I campaign for Ron Paul without a mess of clams to help me? Steamers or fried - I don't care. Oh, some cole slaw would be good also. I have beer.

Thank you so much.

Here in Tallahassee, FL...

We had a good sign waving at a busy intersection. We had about 15 people, lots of signs, and a few cute girls -- that helps! There was a furniture store going out of business near the intersection, and they had hired sign wavers too. One of them defected, however, and took over a big Ron Paul sign for us! While we got a few thumbs down and rude remards, we got many times more thumbs up, honks and waves. It's always fun.

Went door to door

here in California for the first time. I walked half of my precinct, and plan on finishing my precinct up by tuesday then helping my friend with his next saturday.

I've run the numbers a little. If you can just get 1-2 out of 100 people to become new RP supporters, we would win in a landslide. Remember, only 20% of Republicans, which are only 30%, vote. That is 6 out of 100 people. We just need 2/100 voting for RP, and we have a very attractive message (no war, no patriot act, etc.)

not much time left though.

Don't wait.

This sounds kind of lame but...

I hung a sign in our front yard (busy road)

and continue to talk to people and email people (in a calm, non-aggressive way)...asking them to "check out Ron Paul"

I wished I could do more, but I don't want to "put off" too many people too quickly
