listening to L. Ingraham, someone PLEASE shoot me in the face

As predicted, the most god-awful fawning, salivating love-fest over the Anne Romney speech. Clueless caller after clueless caller which made me lose more hope for mankind. Women were phoning in saying things like (imagine sarcastic british accent) "OH, why yes Laura! I was a GINGRICH-gal, but after seeing how poised, and LIKEABLE Anne Romney was, I am now fully on board with PRESIDENT Romney!" Caller after caller, no important issues discussed, no substantive arguements, just comments about Anne Romney's hair/nice arms and how handsome her sons are. One lady called in and said "Paul Ryan was a conservative Dream Boat, and that Romney/Ryan was a conservative DREAM ticket. Nevermind that they supported TARP, QE1-2 etc etc etc. They have the horny old lady and the retarded soccer mom vote in the bag, that's for sure. Just, FACEPALM the entire time. It's stuff like this that makes me want to give up. People are such dumbed-down brainwashed drones- that it makes one contemplate one's own sanity. Thankfully I have you guys to rant to and make me realize that not everbody is like that. Sorry- had to spout off after hearing that utter nonsense.

I wonder of the focus on Anne

was meant as a slap to Sarah Palin for all she was doing to try to bring on a brokered convention. Sarah needed to be replaced as the "Republican woman's woman" and Anne fits the bill. Who knows.
