Who the Hell do we vote for now?

Ron Paul does not endorse anyone according to him. So who the hell do we vote for!?!?! I am so pissed.

I've noticed that many comments say dont vote. its really sad that many will do that. we were gaining power and now you all want to stop voting.

this year it's Minnie Mouse. It's about time we elect a female President. plus Donald duck is a NEO-CON

Mark Twain said it best:

I do not think I can offer my consent any longer. These people are illegitimate and my consent for continued war abroad & tyranny at home must be withdrawn.

Lets see...

Who turned down two chances to elect Ron Paul and treated him and all the fellow citizens that supported him like crap?

A vote for Republicans
+1 to the people that treated us this way.

A vote for Libertarians or a write in
-1 to the people that treated us this way.

A vote for Democrats
-2 to the people that treated us this way.

Take your pick.

thats exactly right gibson

I know what I pick

How is voting for the Democrat

any different than voting for the Republican?

His name is Edward Snowden

What is Capitalism?

This is how

You not only deny them your vote you also neutralize one other anti-Ron Paul GOP vote.

Here I am not talking about vote FOR anyone... only AGAINST the people that lied and defrauded us at every turn during the primaries.

Does it really matter?

Does it really matter? We were cheated out our our delegates, what makes you think that it will be any different in the election? Voting only seems to be an illusion provided by the government to fool the people into thinking that they have a say so in their future. If voting really counted it would be done by hand and in the open and you would receive a receipt with your name and who you voted for.

Don't Vote! - It just encourages the Bastards!

That is actually a funny book by P.J. O'Rourke.

Great title and true.

Why give them any respect? Why legitimize this system?

don't vote!

don't vote!

why are people negging your comment? don't they get it?

not voting is a vote.

those who imagine they have to choose the lesser of 2 or 3 evils have already forgotten the first rule of liberty. that is what personal power is all about is you decide.

not voting is still a right we still respect in the united states, unlike some countries where voting is mandatory.

maintaining your integrity is a vote. not voting for somebody you don't want is a vote of confidence for yourself.

What do the IRS, EPA, DoE, DoD, DoHS, NSA, FBI and TSA think

of your personal power?

Disagree, sort of...

Only about 25% of those eligible to vote actually vote. Nobody talks about the non-voting vote and what it means. Unfortunately, abstaining will be seen and portrayed as apathy. I always vote because I feel that if I don't I'm condoning the status quo.

NOTE: I am not advocating violence in any way. The content of the post is for intellectual, theoretical, and philosophical discussion. FEDS, please don't come to my house.

100% what you said. DON'T

100% what you said. DON'T VOTE!

Is that what Paul Revere said?

1 if by land, 2 if by sea, 3 who gives a damn, stay home? ;)

seriously considering just sitting this one out.

We don't even know if our votes are being counted in the first place.

If it is indeed true that some Spanish company is going to be counting our "E-votes" that will be routed over to their country for some reason, then that is effed up beyond imagination.

I also can't help but feel this Johnson character is just another one to keep us busy, and eventually give TPTB a reason to throw the "election" one way or the other. He smells like a trojan horse.

In 1994 Johnson won the

In 1994 Johnson won the Republican Party of New Mexico's gubernatorial nomination, and defeated [the] Democratic incumbent. ~Wiki

Johnson joined the Libertarian Party in 2011.

That's the problem I am ibertarian first then republican (that is Ron Paul Republican) GJ is a Republican joining the Libertarian Party.

Looking at the Horses in this race. Looking at the big view. Repubs would want to woo us to MR or drive us to GJ rather than leaving us BO.

The Dems wants to woo independents but would rather drive them to GJ.

Then is comes back to the good old days when the Party GOTV effort wins the day and the troublemakers have a safe place to go. Why did they want RP to run third party? Both parties needed a strong draw that would not affect their base.

When Ralph Nader no longer sought that role, they needed a new player.

Presidential politics won't kill the parasite:

Free includes debt-free!

Am I getting this right?

You're going to not vote because maybe Gary Johnson is controlling Spanish companies that will switch your vote to... someone else?

Jefferson's picture

in the hell did you gather that I implied that Johnson was controlling some Spanish vote count company?

No, you're not "getting this" right.

Ok so you're going to not vote for Johnson because someone ELSE

might be controlling a spanish company and switch your vote.

And if it turns out no one is switching your vote, you'll have still managed to disenfranchise yourself.

I'm leaning the same way Jefferson.

I may sit it out, and I may not. If I get there, I do, If I don't, I don't.

I may go and write in Ron Paul, or the words "Anyone But Romney or Obama".

I might even write in the question: "Does it really matter anymore?" Lol

Where in the Constitution does it say you have a duty to vote?

Lysander Spooner investigates what a vote is and if it has any meaning.

Technically it can't be proven that your vote was counted or that invalid votes were not counted or added.

Also there are few elected officials who can prove that they were duly elected. It's system built on trust. The untrustworthy will take advantage if they can.

Personally, Ron Paul is the on candidate that I honestly would trust to be President given the unconstitutional powers that Presidents have given themselves by Executive Orders. Especially given that our Congress is counter-productive to liberty when they do anything and the Flaky Supreme Court.

I see no reason to consent to anyone else filling the office of President.

If a majority of the population abstains from that vote what mandate to rule can a President claim.

It Congress that is assigning debt to the general public using the authority 14th Amendment. It's called the National Debt.

The motto of Congress carries "The 14th Amemdment Charge Card". They love spending other peoples money recklessly.

Voting out anyone who dare use it might be worth a vote.

Free includes debt-free!

"Voting out anyone who dare use it might be worth a vote."

That's what we're trying to do now, right?

Why the rush?

We have until November to decide. That's a lot of time for things to happen. Personally, I'm glad Ron Paul hasn't endorsed anyone. I'd rather make my own choice on the matter.

Well, the debates are coming up and if Gary Johnson hits 15%

in the polls in September there will be a Liberty voice in the debates.

Otherwise there won't be, and a big opportunity to publicize Liberty views will be lost.
