In Defence of Jesse Benton

I think we are all ready to embrace Benton as soon as he explains the secret strategy he couldn't explain while the campaign was in progress. I refer to the secret strategy behind his decision to bring the campaign's momentum to a dead stop right in the middle of the growth of the California support, months before the convention, by announcing that Romney had already won. Messrs. Wead and Woods both refused to criticize this action, explaining publicly that they were respecting this secret strategy. Some low cynics and trolls believe that it was a treacherous lie to claim that there was a secret strategy, since no such strategy existed, but the rest of us just eagerly await the explanation. It might come from Mr. Wead, or perhaps from Mr. Woods, but my personal expectation is that it will come from Benton himself.
