Rocky's final fight. Remember this clip from the last Rocky movie? Rocky did not beat the champ, but the people were with him. A little similar to the RNC convention. Of course if the RNC was directing Rocky Balboa, Rocky wouldn't have been allowed in the ring.

Both Dr. Paul and Rocky were more about "the message" than winning. "Yo Carol, we did it!"
