Amazing how much more open, uncensored, and unfiltered news is in other countries. Here's an exampe of a car crash in Brazil.

America really is dumbed down and kept ignorant by the media and government.

Who Owns The Media?

The 6 Monolithic Corporations That Control Almost Everything We Watch, Hear And Read

I just had another thought about WAR censorship

If the American people saw more of the death and destruction from war on television maybe they would be less likely to support unnecessary wars.

As is, all they see about war is it glorified in movies. Even the movies that portray war the most accurately still end up glorifying it in the end, because otherwise the movie would be too much of a downer to make any money.

But maybe if Americans actually saw fellow Americans dead and maimed from the wars, they would put an end to them.

Maybe this is the real reason the media and government don't let us see what is really happening in the wars on TV. If people saw how terrible it is, they would end the wars now.

Ignorance is bliss.

I've heard returned

I've heard returned servicemen make similar comments, generally "if the public were to see what we saw in Iraq/Afghanistan, it'd be the last war we ever got involved in."

Spanish Channels in the US shows stuff like this on a show titled Primero Impacto.

Galatians 5:1
It is for FREEDOM that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

Graphic content, a few cadavers, one mangled under a car.

Should we be afraid? Censored from seeing death?

Yet, plastered with fake ideas of death in the movies?

Do we want truth or lies?

People watching an uncensored news report like this might actually be more careful when driving, rather than ignoring the report.

What really struck me is how the police seemed to allow observers rather than threatening them with arrest if they didn't get away, as would happen in the US.

I thought about adding more

I thought about adding more to what you said, but I don't think I could have added much more with a few words. You are right on.
