So Ron Paul didn't lose the Republican nomination, it was stolen. Ron Paul never conceded his delegates or endorsed Romney, and as the media presses his "loss" of the Republican nomination, he will appear in front of millions on September 4th, 2012:

He is getting more attention for his steadfastness to principles than he ever has in his life at this moment...

It made me happy to see the Doc laughing, joking and looking

fit and relaxed.

I was hoping the RON PAUL would endorse Gary Johnson, since he is not on all the ballots. I checked out Gary Johnson's website the other day, and it was well worth it. Before you decide on who you are going to cast your vote for. I encourage you to take 2 minutes out of your day and see what Gary Johnson is all about. I hope that we will be able to unite and cast a blow to the RNC for their corrupt actions during the delegate process and the convention. I am afraid that if we do not unite soon, that all the hard work and money spent will be laid to waist. Who is going to unite us?

Ron Paul Runs in 2016. No Third Party...code speak. Which means

Even before the Leno Show RP Interview...I'm decided to STAY GOP!

Like RP said, "We will become the Big Tent...". I believe in that firmly.

Will I vote for GOP this year...surely NO!!!

I will follow who Ron Paul will endorse.

"I will follow who Ron Paul

"I will follow who Ron Paul will endorse."

Probably a good choice 99.9% of the time, but let's use our brains.

Sure. I do plan tentatively on voting either Libertarian or...

Constitution, but eventually...I will follow/vote who Ron Paul will endorse. Safe to say, that person will definitely NOT be Mittens. More so an Obama.

Don't vote

Don't vote Constitution!

We must draft Dr. Paul

I suggest, a hundred or so of Paul fans carry signs and keep a silent vigil around his Lake Jackson house. Make up signs saying "Run Paul/Ron Paul" until the good doctor is back in the game as the VP candidate on the Libertarian Party.

Vote Gary Johnson.

For the crime of telling the truth, Ron Paul MUST be sentenced to serve four years in the White House.

We should all be as young at 77

as Dr. Paul is.

That was fantastic!!! I still expect to see the Doc interviewed

in the media a lot - stay tuned for more action!

Why are so many parties called, "Third?" No "fourth" parties.

THE "BIG THREE" THIRD PARTIES:Based upon vote performance over past two election cycles and ballot access

CONSTITUTION PARTY - Former [President] Nixon Administration official and one-time Conservative Coalition chair Howard Phillips founded the US Taxpayers Party (USTP) in 1992 as a potential vehicle for Pat Buchanan to use for a third party White House run -- had he agreed to bolt from the GOP in 1992 or 1996. The USTP pulled together several of the splintered right-wing third parties -- including the once mighty American Independent Party (below) -- into a larger political entity. The USTP renamed itself the Constitution Howard Phillips (USTP) 1992Party in 1999. The party is strongly pro-life, anti-gun control, anti-tax, anti-immigration, trade protectionist, "anti-New World Order," anti-United Nations, anti-gay rights, anti-welfare, and pro-school prayer.

GREEN PARTY OF THE UNITED STATES - The Green Party -- the informal US-affiliate of the leftist, environmentalist European Greens movement -- is one of the two largest third parties in the nation. The party regularly fields candidates for local, state and federal offices in many states, and has established active state affiliate parties in nearly all 50 states. The Greens scored a major political points when it convinced prominent consumer advocate Ralph Nader to run as their first Presidential nominee in 1996. Spending Vote Green Partyjust over $5,000, Nader was on the ballot in 22 states and carried over 700,000 votes (4th place - 0.8%). In 2000, Nader raised millions of dollars, mobilized leftist activists and grabbed national headlines with his anti-corporate campaign message. Nader ignored pleas from liberal Democrats that he abandon the race because he was siphoning essential votes away from Al Gore's campaign -- answering that Gore was not substantially different than Bush. In the end, Nader was on the ballot in 44 states and finished third with 2,878,000 votes (2.7%). More significantly, Nader missed the important 5% mark for the national vote, meaning the party remained ineligible for federal matching funds. Until 2001, the Greens were largely a collection of fairly autonomous state/local based political entities with only a weak (and sometimes splintered) national leadership structure that largely served to coordinate electoral activities. That faction -- formerly named the Association of State Green Parties (ASGP) -- was the larger and more moderate of the two unrelated Green parties. The ASGP voted in 2001 to convert from an umbrella coordinating organization into a formal, unified national party organization. Nader made another run in 2004 -- but ran as an Independent. Instead, Green Party General Counsel David Cobb of Texas won the Presidential nomination (ballot status in 29 states - 120,000 votes - 6th place - 0.1%). Cobb argued the party needed to nominate a candidate who openly belonged to the party (note: Nader had never joined) and was pledged to building the party at the local level. Cobb ran what was seen as a "safe-states" strategy -- a controversial move whereby Cobb only made major efforts to gain votes in states where a strong Green showing would not compromise the ability of the Democratic nominee to defeat Bush in the state. Democrats appreciated the move, but it weakened Cobb's message. For 2008, the Greens dumped the "safe states" strategy and instead tried to run a more aggressive campaign wherever possible. Former Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney (D-GA) joined the Greens in 2007, moved to California, and easily captured the Green nomination in 2008. McKinney was on the ballot in 32 states and garnered 161,0000 votes (6th place - 0.1%). Look for her to run again in 2012....

LIBERTARIAN PARTY - Founded in 1971, bills itself as "America's largest third party" (and, along with the Greens, are definitely among the two largest third parties in the nation). The Libertarians are neither left nor right: they believe in total individual liberty (pro-drug legalization, pro-choice, pro-gay marriage, pro-home schooling, pro-gun rights, etc.) and total economic freedom (anti-welfare, anti-government regulation of business, anti-minimum wage, anti-income tax, pro-free trade). The LP espouses a classical laissez faire ideology which, they argue, means "more freedom, less government and lower taxes." Over 400 LP members currently hold various -- though fairly low level -- government offices (including lots of minor appointed officials like "School District Facilities Task Force Member" and "Town Recycling Committee Member"). In any given election year, the LP fields more local and federal candidates than any other US third party -- although the LP has clearly been eclipsed by the Greens in size since 1996 in terms of having the largest third party following and garnering more media attention. Ed Clark for President / David Koch for VP (Libertarian) 1980 Former 1988 LP Presidential nominee Ron Paul is now a Republican Congressman from Texas -- and made libertarian ideological runs for the a 2008 and 2012 GOP Presidential nomination (although Paul remains a "life member" of the LP). The LP's biggest problem: Congressmen Ron Paul [???} and Paul Broun [???], humorist/journalist PJ O'Rourke, the Republican Liberty Caucus and others in the GOP who attract ideological libertarians into the political arena by arguing they can bring about libertarian change more easily under the Republican label. In 2008, former Congressman Bob Barr (R-GA) and former US Senator Mike Gravel (D-AK) both switched to the LP and campaigned for the party's Presidential nomination -- and Barr won the nomination (but Barr rejoined the GOP in 2011). As the LP nominee, Barr had ballot status in 45 states and captured 525,000 votes (4th place - 0.4%). In terms of results, the LP hit the high point in 1980 when LP Presidential nominee and oil industry attorney Ed Clark -- with billionaire industrialist David Koch as his VP running mate and campaign financer -- carried over 921,000 votes (1.1%). Subsequent LP nominees for the next dozen years, though not as strong as... And, FYI, the LP typically obtains ballot status for the Presidential nominee in all 50 states. The LP also has active affiliate parties in every state. The party has been divided for years between two fighting factions: a more purist/hardcore libertarian group and a more moderate "reform" faction.... . The LP web site features a link to the World's Smallest Political Quiz -- designed by LP co-founder David Nolan -- and take the quiz to see if you're a libertarian (a bit simplistic, and slanted in favor of the LP, but interesting just the same).

Smaller Third Parties (quixotically all third parties; there are no fourth partie3s listed).

Fourth Parties: None.

"Mr. Consistant"

I love this guy !

"Consist_e_nt", you mean.

Thank you Ron Paul

for fighting the good fight for so many decades.

You've always been a gentleman, and that made many people stop to listen who would have been turned off by a screaming podium pounder.
Youve educated so many Americans . . . and that is the Only way that this country will ever turn around & get back on the path of Liberty.

Youve taught and inspired many . . . and we hope that they will move the work forward, in the same manner that you carried the work forward of such great American true patriots as Thomas Jefferson and Andrew Jackson. Youve served your country well.

I wish the audience would

I wish the audience would have chilled out a bit on the applause. I mean it's great to show passion but let the man freaking finish a sentence.

Ron Paul 2016

This lion never sleeps.

If he runs again

... and has Jesse Benton working for him again, then I say, screw that. If I was in the middle of the ocean and the only boat had Jesse Benton on board, I would keep treading water. For all I have seen, I would only be picked up so he could feed me to some sharks later.

Anything that has Jesse Bentusover involved, I will not touch with a borrowed 10' pole.

i hope and pray

i really like doctor paul
ron paul 2016, please?
if ron paul runs in 2016 we will need alot of tissues for the crying neocons, that is if there are any left.
i can see it now "ron and rand 2016"
i hope he keeps doing "texas straight talk" i like the truth

Maybe I'm just dense and not

Maybe I'm just dense and not understanding something, but it seems that both the RNC and the DNC have drafted laws that now prevent anyone from running that isn't pre-ordained by the senior party staffs themselves. Much like congress, delegates are now simply ceremonial and the nomination process is a dog and pony show for the mainstream media's propaganda.

You Know Why He Doesn't Slam The GOP?.....Drum Roll

After Romney fouls up everything or rather makes things worse (another war or multiple wars, and the failure of his administration to repeal Osama Bin Obama health care)) America will cry out for him to run again, having admitted they made a mistake in believing tha lying S.O.B was going to fix things..

Remember what Dr. Paul has said many times; government doesn't produce jobs, the free market does..

Romney and Obama are both the same. They think they can by government force produce jobs and good medical care. Romneycare and Obamacare are different names for the same government mandate.

Bottom line? Dr. Paul gets the last laugh and makes him even more credible.

Something tells me he just might make one last run in 2016..

This is my first time commenting

After this long emotional roller coaster, and the setbacks that weve encountered, I've given some thought to the situation. Dr. Paul is one man who stood up to establishment. Although he didnt make it to the top of the mountain, he showed me and many others the way. Now It's our responsibility to continue the fight. There is a quote which I think about whenever I hear the good Doctor speak.

"I'm not saying I'm gonna change the world, but I guarantee that I will spark the brain that will change the world." -Tupac Shakur

Ron has

To choose his words wisely because next week we start the push for s.202
Of Ron were to endorse someone it might piss a lot of people off and we will get no where on audit the fed.
2016 I am so siked and ready to go even if it isn't Paul.

he said what matters--

in my opinion--

it's hard to be awake; it's easier to dream--

Blown Opportunity and just being a polite Mr. Nice Guy again?

The good Doctor still won't stand up to the RNC---AGAIN!! Does he condone what was done to him, his campaign and his followers by the Romney/RNC coalition in the primary race and at the RNC in Tampa? Does Ron Paul want us to just roll over and be beaten into submission by the Establishment and its Romney camp goons at the state organizations?

The questions asked by Mr. Leno gave Ron Paul many opportunities to make a statement of some sort about anything he wanted to but he passed it by. WHY?????????? Clint Eastwood's speech had more meat in it than Ron Paul's appearance last night. I was hoping that he would endorse someone. I wanted him to endorse Gary Johnson. That would have given new life to Libertarian politics and ensured its continued prominence in the national scene and dialogue.

We are in deep doo-doo without a committed national leader. Unless we find a new leader or unless a new leader becomes apparent very soon we will be co-opted by the RNC and disappear, much like the Tea Party. America deserves better. I was born a free man in 1943 and I'm going to my grave, a slave, soon if things don't change drastically. What are my grandchildren going to inherit, a TSA world with Herr Mitt-serschmidt as their ruler?

Ron Paul didn't create the freedom movement. It grew around him and his ideas. It sprang to life independent of him. He was the catalyst that the young people found and loved. He was the only person, of national prominence to speak about freedom and constitutional government. Unfortunately for us, he is Mr. Milquetoast, a grandfather/uncle figure and not the standup leader we need against the Establishment.

It only takes one to KEEP AMERICANS FREE. Know your duties & rights as a juror. Stop the unconstitutional conviction of innocents in federal custody. The Fully Informed Jury CALL 1-800-TEL-JURY www.fija.org IMMEDIATELY if not sooner. It's that important.

You were born a 'slave' and your parents were 'slaves'

A deep study of history will show that this has been going on for a very long time. From the beginning of the Republic, there were those who sought to use govt for their own advantage, to the detriment of most Americans. (Despite their 'laws' I don't think any of us are actually slaves, even though the powers-that-be treat us as such.) If you want to understand, I suggest reading 'Hamilton's Curse' by Tom DiLorenzo. These struggles didnt begin in 2008.

Ron Paul has been out there spreading his message for many decades. Like you, I sometimes have been frustrated that he wasn't more of an 'attack dog'. But he's being true to himself, and he's a gentleman. And the fact is, given where most Americans are right now, screaming while pounding the podium doesnt work. Havent you tried strong tactics with people ? I have. It usually produces defensiveness and withdrawl from them. You cannot lead people where they will not go. And, apparently not enough Americans feel enough pain yet to begin to consider thinking differently.

One of the best tings we can do is to educate ourselves on our history and on Liberty and pass that on to the kids and grandkids. They sure don't learn these things in the mandatory public 'schools'. All the best (I have felt as you have)

you do it

ron paul is free to do as he wishes, ever read the bible? he's turning the other cheek. if you don't like him go away, or maybe you can lead us (by example)give it a try.

"We can't solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them."

I think if he started

I think if he started unloading on RNC and so forth, it would be perceived as bitter, thus weak. He did the right thing, as always, by being polite and humorous.

I am bummed that he is not running 3rd party, but again, this is smart too. Like Dr. Paul said, we only have total of 8 million votes or so, not enough to win. Why bother running if we cannot win? To become a joke of the whole MSM that no matter how many times Paul tries, he just does not have enough of support?

Looking forward to 2016. Meanwhile, elect liberty lovers to senate and local.

This is bunk

He didn't have to unload on the RNC, all he had to do was explain how they broke the rules and cheated. If this movement doesn't stand up when it is wronged then there is no hope. How are we going to win ever with the oh well attitude. I thought the campaign should have taken the fraud in Maine to court exposing the GOP for the sham that it is.

I think we were supposed to do that and we tried. We simply were a bit clueless as to what we were up against.
