What did we get?

Lets ask ourselves, what did we get out of the convention? If we don't know, lets find out. So what if they are killing their party. It deserves to die if that's what they want to do. We've at least got their pick saying he would sign legislation to audit the federal reserve and unseat Bernake as chairman. But what was included on the platform?

we got company

Mitt didnt just snub the ron paul republicans he snubbed the tea party, and grass roots. Misery loves company, and the enemy of my enemy is my friend. I think the RNC might have just gave us some very big friends, but only time will tell.

We got to wake up! And we got to see our families, friends,

neighbors and business associates start to awaken around usl. How valuable is that?

We know that the liars, thieves and thugs of both parties will continue to do what liars, thieves and thugs do, they lie, steal and terrorize. In their desperation to maintain power, they have stepped out of their closet and reveled to the whole world who and what they are. How valuable is that? (BTW, I wouldn't expect them to do much with the tennents of liberty or their new platform planks (based on their voting records)).

So where do we go from here? We continue to stand tall for liberty freedom and independence. Many more will continue to awaken as we continue to shine the light of truth and freedom in their eyes. People will start using their rights to nullify juries and start regaining control of their local governments while choosing more liberty minded politicians.

I will continue to inspire people to question their freedom? 10 people can wake up 1000, who can then wake a million more! Remember the whole world is watching and we the people outnumber the evil ones.

A choice for liberty is always a choice for liberty.

We own a piece of the GOP.

We own a piece of the GOP. We have a number of state and county GOP organizations under our control and the RNC can do nothing about it. The Republican Party is not some monolithic corporation run from the top down by an omnipotent CEO. State and local GOP organizations have a lot of autonomy.

Reading some of the bylaws of various GOP organizations is very enlightening.

The RNC's main purpose is to select a Republican presidential nominee. It has limited power to control how state and local Party organizations conduct their business. Further, the members of the RNC are not appointed, but elected by each of the 50 state Republican parties. If you control the majority in your state party, you get to select 3 of the 150 (approximately) RNC members.

Further, ALL Republican organizations (even the RNC) are "membership" organizations. That means members get to vote on how the organization is run. When you have the majority in a Republican Party organization, you control it.

I certainly do not condone the underhanded way we were treated at the national convention or at many of the state conventions and caucuses, but in most cases we either did not control the (elected) leadership or we did not have a majority in some critical decision-making body.

The path forward is clear, however. In every county, district, and state Republican organization where we can get enough liberty-minded citizens to participate and outnumber the relatively small number of active establishment Republicans, we can gain control, dictate rules, and send our people up to the next level of the party organizational hierarchy. The key to our advantage is our motivation to participate, which is almost completely absent in the establishment Republican base. The same way we overran some of the delegate selection events in this primary is the same strategy that will give us control of more and more of the party apparatus.

Everything starts at the local level and flows up.

That's how I see things, anyway.

-Ron Paul

YES!!! We got a major part of the GOP and their scared!

Nevada, New Hampshire are two of our largest wins. But we also won in every district where each Ron Paul delegate was chosen.

One of the biggest things I took away from Paulfest was that liberty had triumphed where each delegate from and liberty was also winning from the hometowns which every other attendee was from. Every delegate was supported by many, many more patriots to survive the GOP gauntlet and actually arrive in Tampa. Any not only did they make it to Tampa but they also made it into the belly of the beast during it's reproductive cycle and changed it's genetic code! And we did it on their home turf! And we did it on national TV!

Damn right the Grand Old Party is scared. Their blind, sleeping members are being woken up as real patriots also wake up and start getting active. An inspired patriot is much more influential than a than a blind, sleeping political zombie.

We got a lot more than you think

The RNC adopted this like:
Internet freedom
Audit the Fed
Must have a declaration of war.

As Doug Wead said, "you may say these don't add up to much but it is a lot when you are having an intellectual movement."

Also we received recognition!
We exposed the corrupt. People are seeing how much of a slimeball Romney is and as we continue to expose him, more people will wake up and see we were right.

We were a lot closer than the msm lets on. Which is why they were so nervous.

That's what we got

Promises from Mitt Romney????

Clint Eastwood was wrong...

We lost! They beat the living hell out of us!! We got Blacked-Out, again, we got empty non binding platforum BS, Ron and Carol Paul got f'ed with by the TSA flying home, We got made fun of, we got sent packing!!!

Romney got one thing though...1000's and 1000's of Republicans, Ron Paul Republicans NOT VOTING for him!!! Many of us, considering fair treatment and RESPECT at the RNC of Dr.Paul, would have given Romney a vote after a fair win... Shuting down Dr.Pauls right to speak, right for the delegates to participate in the process, just backfired on the establishment!! Some of us will even double screw the GOP and vote for Obama...And pray for 2016!!!

We got screwed, and the GOP just slitted their own throat!!
Way to go Romney and the establishment!! Clint Eastwood was wrong, "it is possible to F-Yourself!!"

What we really got

was each other. Up until convention week, the other groups in the party thought we were blowing things out of proportion, or just plain making it up. They got to see firsthand what we've been saying to them all along. And the best part - some of these delegates were working against us in the state conventions, but now on the national scale, they know what it feels like to be on the other end of a process gone truly wrong. And by joining in, this is where they can make it right.

The movement is growing, and this week we got a big bump in the numbers.

He got a bailout at Bain

He got a bailout at Bain Capital, I'd be shocked if he didn't make an election promise to audit the Fed, then completely ignore it in office.

If you're promising Bernanke a third term, you don't understand the problem.

Cyril's picture

They never had a clue

They never had a clue about the problem in the first place.

And they are ABSOLUTELY fine with it.

They like to be TOOLS.

Pays well. They don't need to think nor have any conscience or morality, either.

Best gain / effort ratio ever !

We didn't get the last part.

He said he intends to nominate Bernanke to a third term.
