Colorado Delegate Speaks out on Morton Blackwell's Minority Report Blocked from Entering the Green Zone

Excellent interview

Tea Party Tribune, August 29, 2012 | Delegate from Colorado Jeremy Strand paid the Watchdog Wire Radio booth a visit today with some breaking developments inside the RNC's power grab through their new rules changes regarding delegates: Morton Blackwell, a seasoned expert and member of GOP Rules Committees, was allegedly intentionally delayed from getting to the Rules Committee meeting with his authored Minority Report, which would challenge the RNC's abrupt new rules that essentially undermine the party's original rules. Since he missed the meeting, he was not granted permission to submit the challenge.

I said:

Complete corruption at the RNC. Huge power grab for elite in the RNC dealing with rule change that allows the them to basically elect whoever they want, enabling them to strip delegates they don't think are appropriate in future elections (delegates elected by the citizens). Morton Blackwell who opposed this rule change was intentionally not let into the convention, along with other states delegates who disagreed with the rule at the time of the vote. Rule forced down the throats of the republican party. Rule introduced through Romney's top lawyer on campaign (Ben Ginsberg). Romney claims he's for states rights and individual freedom, yet has centralized power in RNC and stripped away states rights. Information on this rule change:

I sure hope he's right when

I sure hope he's right when he says that the liberty movement in Colorado is growing by leaps and bounds...

Perhaps delegates could sue the party

Perhaps delegates, who have standing, could sue the party and subpoena the bus driver.

ConstitutionHugger's picture

They are baffled by the RNC's decision to play dirty

Perhaps they've insulted us on purpose to get us to leave the party. Why? Because the infiltration has worked SOOOOO well. Some folks in the R party are corrupt and will go to their graves that way. The rest are mindless followers who can be educated. We need to mingle with them so the liberty message can rub off.

It was a gamble for them to be so blatantly corrupt. They have control of the media so most people won't find out, and they can use hatred of RP to justify it in the minds of the mindless followers at the convention. Only RP supporters and true conservatives are going to know about their illegal actions, so chances are nothing will come of their misconduct.

If they did nothing and played fair, we would have been encouraged. Since they were beligerent, will we be discouraged? What would Ron do? Walk off in a huff? No, I say we turn the other check, folks. I still want a miracle win for this election, but only hard work is required for winning in 2016.

Follow the Herd Mentality~~~is all it is

1st Brainwashing Event:

The whole phony "Al Quaida" & "Terrorist" thing got the entire country all whipped up into a frenzy~~~~due to BIG MEDIA.

2nd Brainwashing Event:

Make the Republicans have even greater ownership of the Terrorist fanaticism.

3rd Brainwashing Event:

Throught Big Media, make anyone who supports Ron Paul into an enemy, a kook, a mindless stupid plebe. Use Big Media pundits to brainwash the mindless Republican RINO followers to hate Ron Paul & his supporters. Marginalize RP & call his supporters his "followers", as if they are mindless, stupid idiots. Make sure Big Media Radio pundits call them all names, too.

4th Brainwashing Event:

Encourage local & state RNC Rinos (the active supporters) to come together via emails & have the STATE GOP leaders demonstrate & manipulate the voting & nomination of their own delegates, and act as if they have the "right" to do it, and have the so-called State leaders mingle with the typical Rino supporter to justify what they've done. Act like they are Romans watching the plebes fight the lions in the arena! Act like they are superior to the RP people.

4th Brainwashing Event at the Convention:

Use the gathering of so many of the RINOS from all the states to encourage a "herd" mentality, a fight mentality, and spread the HATE SPEECH around the convention floor about the "RP losers" and to "watch out for them" and shout at them, too.
Completely demean them by taking all the RP signs away from them!
Get rid of them by keeping them from entering the building on time for the voting, especially keep Morton Blackwell's Virginia delegation away. Hire a bus driver to keep several of their delegations from entering the premises.

And, finally, do all these things in the name "Romney".

Isn't a bus driver choosing to go around in circles kidnapping?

I guess it could be argued that they could leave at any time, but once that driver willfully deviates from the agreed upon path for no reasonably good reason, is he not unlawfully detaining them?

They need to get a statement from that driver!

To prove election coersion and fraud.

How does Mitt Romney's behavior in the 2012 campaign reflect on Mormonism?

Of course there are horrid examples of

individual phonies who claim to be of any religion or secular ideology you'd care to name.
but your main point -- the lengths of authoritarianism the Romney team shows -- has revealed his soul to the world, just as has Obama's.

Thanks for the link.

"Being professionals" and

"Being professionals" and being polite was the first mistake. If you want to win a revolution, you have to be willing to crack some skulls, just like the dirtbag Romney supporters, just like the treacherous Obama supporters. Just a word to the wise.

I understand how you feel, but I don't agree. At least

at this point. Aside from taking the high ground (as Ron Paul has always done) and continuing to offer people a genuinely different way of operating than EITHER the Democratic or Republican establishment parties - while dirty tricks of the ESTABLISHMENT might not make the mainstream news, to be sure, any such behavior on the part of TEA PARTY/LIBERTY-MINDED activists would. It would only be held against us. Just look at what has happened in the last 24 hours: the true nature of the corrupt Republican Party is being exposed for the WHOLE WORLD to see. There might come a time when it is all out war. Look at the American Revolution! But until such time when we are all ready to put our lives on the line, literally, because of intolerable acts, I'm happy to do what I can to try to enact change in the way that Ron Paul has devoted his life to doing. His character is part of what's drawn so many to this movement.

Rand said it was verboten

to say Ron Paul's name on the stage? And what would happen if you did? Would you be turned into a pillar of salt?

Is Mormon vooddoo really that potent?

Let's try to keep it civil

stm: I also dislike Romney's behavior. Mormon doctrine (and this is taught often in Church meetings) is to support candidates who are "good, honest, and wise," and who "uphold the Constitution." If you ask me, as a faithful Latter-day Saint of 30 years, that's not Romney.

There are plenty of Mormons who enthusiastically support Ron Paul. Let's not alienate them by needlessly injecting religion into the discussion. Like reedr3v pointed out, there are likely good and not-so-good individuals found in every religion. Let's all do our part to promote Liberty, but let's do it accurately and civilly.

His career

Would have been killed by the GOP

This is so petty and childish.

He was deliberately delayed so that he would miss the meeting? Add to that the bus load of delegates going around in circles until they were too late for the convention?

Are there any grown ups in the GOP?

These are MORON sub level intelligence tactics!

If this is how you "win"...
