Gary Johnson heads to North Carolina and South Carolina to campaign

Libertarian Party presidential candidate and former New Mexico Governor Gary Johnson will be in Charlotte, NC on Sept. 4-5, and Rock Hill, SC on Sept. 5, for campaign events. Johnson will face Democrat Barack Obama and Republican Mitt Romney in the November 6, 2012 general election.

Mitt Romney's campaign and the Republican Party have been actively working to keep Johnson off the ballot in several states around the nation, however Johnson has defeated them in each attempt. Johnson is now qualified on the ballot in 40 states and expects to be in all 50 before qualification ends in each state.

Big

bump for Liberty. Let's get Gary those crowds that Ron Paul had and let's get him in the debates.

Educate and inform the whole mass of the people... They are the only sure reliance for the preservation of our Liberty. -Thomas Jefferson

Ask GJ if he is reading the Daily Paul.
On Twitter he has @dailypaul added to followed so he probably does.

On Stossel last night, Ron

On Stossel last night, Ron Paul was asked specifically if he'd endorse Johnson. He said he thought he was a good man, but that everyone should vote as they'd like. In other words, Paul would not endorse him. That's a clear sign to me that Johnson is not the man for the job. I'll write in Ron Paul here in NH.

Keep in mind that Ron's a Republican

and just negotiated concessions at the convention.

How would that look if he immediately endorsed a different party?

Thanks for the info

Is there a video of that interview?

I just found this article about write-in campaign for Ron Paul:
http://www.unitedliberty.org/articles/11068-write-in-for-ron...

RP got only 0.4% write-in votes in 2008.

Need to get behind one

candidate to send a message. Gary Johnson will not win. But, we can be heard through him. You will make blip on nothing if you write in Ron Paul. And the 0.4% will be again. Let's show our anger and get behind one candidate and then we will be heard.

I Agree: Instead of "Nobody but Paul" it now should be

"Anybody but Romney/Obama" even though one of them is bound to win we can show our anger and wake more people up to the fact that there is no difference between either of the parties in control today, and press on with a third option for the future.

Presidential

It isn't presidential to fight to deprive entire constituent groups of their rights.

True presidential candidates defend the rights of everyone. An attack on the rights of some voters is an attack on the rights of all.
