Vote for Obama and reward Reince Priebus and Romney with a major defeat

They keep stopping us at every turn and have used every underhanded tactic.

They don't think we make a difference or don't care about us.

Vote for Obama. This is the same as voting twice against Mitt Romney.

Obama for another four years will for sure make a Hillary presidency much less likely.

My 2 cents on a just reward for greed, corruption and utter contempt for the delegate process.

I am so sick of these tool bags telling me that I have to vote for Mitt since he is the only one left.

Rather than waste my vote on Gary Johnson, I realized I could have a much bigger impact voting against Mitt Romney and for his opposition.

Romney is a man who is completely willing to do whatever it takes to win.

In my opinion Obama has a heart and soul somewhere but Mitt is a devoid lifeless piece of crap.

So do you cut off your nose to spite your face much?

Thats the same as voting for Obama.

I agree. Obama is completely wrong on most things but I think he genuinely believes he's helping us. He's gullible and misguided. Willard, meanwhile, is a sociopath who gets a sick thrill out of screwing people over.

Neither will get my vote though.

I don't play, I commission the league.

Swing State Republican Voting for Obama

I have to. I don't want to, but my vote will matter as to the outcome, so I have to. Romney cannot be allowed to win or the GOP Hacks will be satisfied that they don't need the liberty faction to win. All along, we've been saying you can't win without us and all along they have said we don't need the likes of you in our party. I will have a double impact as a Republican when I vote for Obama (actually, I recently sent in paperwork to switch to Independant after 35 years with the GOP)If I didn't live in a swing state, I would write in Ron Paul or possibly vote for Gary Johnson to make a statement about the rise of a third party, but as a swing state voter, I feel I have no choice but to vote against Romney in favor of four more years of Obama. There is no difference anyway- at least4 years is better then 8. If Romney loses, we will be positioned to have a much bigger impact in the 2016 election then we had in this one. For us to prosper, Romney must lose. period.

why can't spineless people just leave this movement seriously..

nobody will miss you i guarantee

It looks like you are thinking strategically when it comes to what you will do with your vote in November. For that, I applaud you and give you an upvote. However, let's not stop there. Let's contemplate all aspects of this strategy.

We are all angry at Romney, the GOP, Rinse Penis, etc. I know we all want all of them to lose their current powers as statists. The question is if a vote for Obama will do that. This is obviously not the first Presidential election that the Republicans have lost to the Democrats. If the Republicans lose to Obama, they are going to have to explain why that happened. If they lose to Obama and there is no significant loss of votes to a third-party or write-in campaign, then nothing really changes. In other words, they'll blame their loss on Obama's superior campaigning and fundraising skills. That means we will not receive any recognition as having any influence in the political process. We will have been marginalized and the GOP will not see as being needed within their party.

Looking at another voting option, if you place your vote outside of the two-party system, it will get noticed. That's not to say that you have to vote for Johnson if you don't like him. However, find yourself a good candidate you can get behind or find out if your state will count write-in votes. Then again, the Libertarian Party is the third largest party. If they get 5% of the vote, they will get a big windfall from the General Election Fund that will help their viability in future election years. Expanding our options is always a great strategy. Most importantly, though, is a significant showing outside of the two-party system will tell the GOP that we didn't coalesce behind their candidate as they expected us to do. It will tell them that they flushed away several million votes in a race that will probably be decided by as much.

There are multiple 2012 voting strategies out there to ensure we lay down a better battlefield in 2016. I have come up with a few so I advise you click my username and read some of the recent threads I've started. One strategy does include certain states voting either for Romney or for Obama based on whether you are in a red or blue state to try and gain more delegates in states like NV and IA and less in the states that snubbed us. Then there's a strategy of trying to switch an entire state to libertarian to show viability. Also, a strategy of switching a classic red state to blue to show the GOP that our grassroots wields that much control.

I am somewhat less pissed off today. Not sure who I will vote for or if it matters.

At this point I think I am looking for another planet to move to. Any ideas?

Have you

forgotten about all the people Obama has killed? Have you forgot NDAA and the Patriot Act, or how about the executive orders he has signed? He and Romney are banker puppets that deserve to come in second and third place this fall. Vote for liberty and vote your conscience not for evil and tyranny. Wake back up and don't be a fool.

Obama and the DNC would have

Obama and the DNC would have done the EXACT same thing as the RNC.

Don't reward EITHER of them.

The best way to punish them is pushing the actual threat of power to both parties. 3rd party.

Reince Priebus

I just re-stumbled across these little gems from early 2011 that I had forgotten about.

Considering what happened in Tampa, these links are DEFINITELY worth reading.

Only the acceptance of the truth can defeat systemic evil.

Do I

hope Obama CRUSHES Mitt Romney? Yes. Will I vote for Obama? No.

even though romney and obama

even though romney and obama are the same, strategically it would be better to get obama to win just to show the GOP ron paul people are a force to recon and can make a difference in a election. it would also create a hunger for a new type of repulican in 2016 who would most likely be Rand paul or like ron paul.

That is exactly my thought.

After the treatment of Ron Paul the very last thing we want is a consolidated power grab from these NeoCons.

They discounted our vote at every turn and have told us it does not matter so I think I will put mine where it will hopefully send a real message.

"Don't Fuck with Us. We guard you while you sleep"

On a long enough timeline the survival rate for everyone drops to zero.

Just don't vote. Don't pad

Just don't vote. Don't pad that statist's numbers.

Southern Agrarian

Can't do it...

I have a conscience. Hopefully Dr. Paul will tell us what he thinks is the best... he may discourage writing him in and just endorse Gary Johnson to give the viability of a 3rd party a shot in the arm. We can still infiltrate the parties and local government. That's what he wants us to do.

You are acting like there are

You are acting like there are two distinctly different partys. They are the same thing working in Concert against the American people in front of the camera. When the camera's are turned off, they are busy getting blown by the Lobbyists and the illeigitmate un-elite.

absolutely no way, would a 'true' RP supporter

vote for Obama.

Why don't you look up how much money I gave to the man.

Screw Romney he can kiss my ass.

key words:

'true' RP supporter.

Supporting Obama goes against almost everything of Ron Paul's message.

Ron Paul

In California I can write in Ron Paul.

That was my original plan or I could write in Gary Johnson who cannot win and "sending a message" is f'ing stupid.

Here they don't count my vote anyways and most likely California will already go for Obama.

My goal is to send a message that my vote matters somehow. The RNC pulled this crap because they discount our clout and vote. Besides, Obama for another four years means that the blame for the economic collapse gets squarely placed on his shoulders.

On the other hand how is Romney better? People watch Obama like a hawk. Who is watching Romney? When you own all of the media outlets (see Bain Capital) who on the right is going to police Romney?

With Obama the rhetoric will continue to fly and keep firing everyone up to keep up the appearance that there is not a cabal running your minds and thoughts.

With Obama the right will have something to gnash and chew on so the potential for out of control exploits at home and abroad is a lot less likely.

That again brings my reasoning to Obama as the only logical choice.

Your vote means jack and shit unless you are either voting for Obama or Romney.

I will be voting for Obama as my protest vote and not the "Ross Perot" effect.

The GOP lost when they decided to lie, cheat and steal to win. I maintain that a true Ron Paul supporter would follow my logic exactly and vote for Obama. No that does not make me happy but there it is.

my vote may mean "jack and shit" to you -

and, maybe to 'them'... but not to me. That's kind of why I've been in this whole process the past 4 1/2 years - because I believe it.

I made a promise on the graves of my son's friends (the ones who did not come home from war) that I would never vote on the basis of 'lesser of two evils' again. Since then I have realized many more reasons. Whatever happened at the convention will not make me renege that promise.

I do understand and share your frustration but if you are willing to vote for either of those men... well, I will just cut that thought short because you have your reasons. But please, don't give up so easily; vote with integrity. If you believe in Obama - by all means vote for him. If you believe in Romney - by all means vote for him. It's your deal, do whatever you need to do - but I will still implore you, *please* do not feed the beast. What survives is what you feed.

Breathe, chill, dust of your britches, recouperate... We have all worked so hard to get this far. Nobody said it would be easy. TPTB have a lot to lose. As far as the people - not everyone 'gets' Ron Paul's message, at least yet. Some of it (and sometimes 'we'...) sounds/looks scary if it's not understood.
