Kennedy interviews Ron Paul on Stossel's Show

After the convention John Stossel's show had 'Kennedy's View of the at RNC'. There's a little interview with Ron from the day he stopped by to see his delegates

The show will re-air tonight at 1:00 am ET and Saturday at 9:00 pm ET

Ron Paul on Gary Johnson:
"I think he's wonderful and I think he's doing a good job and people should look at him - and every individual should make up their own mind!"

Stossel:
"I'm okay with Santotum being squashed, I didn't like Ron Paul being squashed!"

if gary reads 10% of what ron paul has read on his subject

materials, it would greatly increase his reception with many of paul's supporters. but obviously he isn't going to. a great start would be to learn why the great depression occurred, that it wasn't because central bank didn't print enough, as milton friedman--of whom johnson is a great admirer--suggested.

Occupy support corporatism

Have you ever read any Rothbard? Big corporations were behind the New Deal and lobby for most 'progressive' legislation. What the Occupiers hate most is our laissez faire philosophy in which people who get rich the legitimate way in the market without government assistance get to pay little to no taxes. What they want is redistribution of wealth via government, not a fairer freer market. Stossel is right about them. And by the way if you think that big businesses would necessarily cease to exist in a libertarian society you're wrong.

Actually a lot of the

Actually a lot of the occupiers wanted REAL capitalism, this was proven when Schiff went on the ground and also people I know who were there. Only some of the occupiers were socialists, but stossel ignored the valid points and focused on the socialists. This may be because the fox crews were not treated well when they went on the ground. Good. I'm glad. Fox is part of the problem.

The Socialist Influence

Well, the Communist Party of America DID fund part of OWS. Checked their own website to confirm it. I don't doubt a lot of the other financiers were having a good deal of influence on the message of the protests.

www.standardexcellence.net - Bringing you Oklahoma, Texas and national news & opinion that matters for liberty.

I'm partly in agreement. I

I'm partly in agreement. I said it's a valid topic, stossel doesn't think it is because he's engaging in a program to demonize protesters. Again, not his fault... part of his contractual obligations i'm sure.

This comment was supposed to be a reply to "Poor Stossel"

not sure what I did wrong

I'm Not Waiting

For Ron Paul to tell me who to vote for. But don't you people realize the movement Ron Paul Created is just going to scatter all over the place now. WE HAVE TO STAY TOGETHER!! So Ron Paul should endorse somebody. We all need to be together in order to beat corruption. BEING DIVIDED WILL NEVER WIN!!!!!!

We are not going to elect a

We are not going to elect a 3rd party nor will we win by writing him in. The only thing we can do is show in numbers what the republicans lost. The republicans cannot win without our 2 million votes but we cannot win without the republicans. It's a love hate relationship. That is why we're were suppose to win over the republicans.

Poor Stossel

Fox makes him engage in propaganda, he did it with the occupy movement too. Corporate control, especially global corporate control of our government (that includes banking, fed and the global corporations and banks work hand in hand) is a worthy topic, even if some of the protesters are confused. They tried to attack the whole protest as one big joke with no valid points. He did the same thing with occupy, even though the occupy movement had some Ron Paul supporters in it. He's paid to do it. It's sad he is one of the best people on TV. It's in his Fox contract to lick boots with Fox tells him to. Even the judge had to do it once in awhile. Nobody goes on Fox without compromising.

Ron Paul will not tell us who to vote for!

Stop waiting for him to endorse, guys!

He wants us to scrutinize each candidate and then vote on the side of liberty! I would guess that he figures, - If you can't come to a conclusion on your own, then the case for liberty has not been made.

"...every individual should make up their own mind!"

These words are as close to an endorsement as Ron Paul is going to come:

"I think he's wonderful and I think he's doing a good job and people should look at him"

Gary Johnson is looking best to me, and if we want to see him in the debates he will need a serious moneybomb before the debates begin! Not saying we should turn this into the dailyjohnson - dailypaul forever! - just that we ought to spend some time at the johnson-centric websites, for starters.

(I do not believe that write-ins will actually be counted - even in states where they are permitted.)

I liked the video...

Until it became a blatant Gary Johnson advertisement. Sorry, Stossel, I can't back you on this.

check out my latest video : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kMUB79vckJs

They do look aghast!

There are some astonished faces there towards the end. Kennedy makes a good and fearless interviewer. I'd like to see more of her.

Ron Paul said that we need to study

Ron Paul said that we need to study & we do study. Gary Johnson does not study http://www.dailypaul.com/237528/hot-gary-johnson-interview-j...

Welp

There you have it ! Doesn't get much clearer than that does it?

"If ever time should come, when vain and aspiring men shall possess the highest seats in Government, our country will stand in need of its experienced patriots to prevent its ruin."
Samuel Adams

Gary Johnson

Clearly, he does not understand foreign policy. Just study what he has said already. He is totally unprepared to represent the Liberty movement into the future.

Kryptic marching orders. Pay attention now.

everyone should study the 5 second segment at about minute 3:08 and build a last minute presidential campaigns around it. Hmmmmm

Ron Paul on Gary Johnson:

Notice he stopped short of an actual endorsement. He said the same nice things about Romney because Ron Paul is basically an old fashioned gracious man. Hopefully, you all see the difference between being polite and an actual endorsement.

Thanks

There's too much I liked about this

analysis to list. Awesome job panel, J.Stossel, audience (where'd he get 'em? I was digging 'em!) This is the kind of analysis the American people need. Period.

The few times I listened to a Romney speech I've ended up yelling at him, "How Mitt!? How the hell ya gonna do it???? Specifics, dude, I need spe-ci-fics!"

Oh, well. Then comes Megan. It was nice before her nonsense.

I love it where Dr. Paul says everyone "should study" at about minute 3:08 "And that is what amazes me... they study and read economics!"
This is a fabulous interview and reflects Dr. Paul's humility about himself, while promoting his confidence in the principles of liberty and in the future of the liberty movement.
