in-fighting continues

For as much as We the Ron Paul supporters agree on, there is still a LOT of in-fighting. Even on DailyPaul, where most of us love liberty, the comments are full of arguments. I see this level of disagreement amongst people who mostly agree, as one of the bigger obstacles of the entire race.

The majority of states do not count or even consider write-ins. Gary Johnson will be on the ballot in 50 states. Do the math.

You can certainly write-in Ron Paul in those few states where they have a spot for that, or you can check out Gary Johnson... Or as the good Doctor said, "look at him". Decide for yourself but please stop all the bickering.

The Purist's

will never listen.

I would think this should lay the squabbling to rest.

If Ron Paul had considered Johnson a phony and a snake in the grass, he never would have invited him to speak in 2008 at his "Rally for the Republic."

I can still see a vigorous debate over who to vote for in the final analysis, but all this accusation of trollery over supporting a fellow candidate Ron Paul says is "wonderful" should be put to rest.

Support the Constitution of the United States

I make

my own voting decisions. Personally, I wouldn't vote for Johnson if it were proven he was the Second Coming...due to those attempting to shove him down the throats of Daily Pauler's BEFORE the conclusion of the RNC...not to mention, there are too many things about Johnson that are against what I believe in...

Ron Paul 2012...and beyond

If you need someones permission to vote for a candidate........

.....then you obviously missed the whole point of adulthood and individual responsibility. Dr. Paul said "look", not vote for him. Why is it so important to you neocons to force everyone else to do what you want?

Neocon? I hate politics; I always have. Imo, it is sooooo slimy! I only got involved during Ron Paul's last campaign because I was concerned where my country appeared to be heading and because I love my children and grandchildren and wanted a promising future for them-----BUT, I have ALWAYS been against war, always.

As far as needing someone's permission--FOR ANYTHING--I've been quite independent, even as a small child...and frequently carried the sore butt to prove it. That part of my comment was to those to seem to think that if Ron Paul says vote for so-and-so, we all should... Okay??

People are free to do as they so choose; I am free to do as I choose, plus free to give my opinion, whether liked or not...

Ron Paul has actually endorsed neocons before for political reasons. And his own son endorsed Willard.

“It is not our part to master all the tides of the world, but to do what is in us for the succour of those years wherein we are set, uprooting the evil in the fields that we know, so that those who live after may have clean earth to till." -J.R.R. Tolkien

for 3rd party

Ron Paul also said we should look at Ralph Nader in 2008

in the Situation Room here:

That doesn't mean he endorsed him. We will keep trying to show Dr. Paul that he has our utmost enthusiasm and support for a third party run. Until he makes a decision, all talk about GJ on a Ron Paul website is inappropriate. In fact it is starting to push me away from Johnson, when previously I had an open mind to voting for him if Paul was not a choice. Now I'm wondering what kind of people he has behind him, and if I want to be part of that.

A man who views the world the same at fifty as he did at twenty has wasted thirty years of his life.

Its not a Ron Paul site any

Its not a Ron Paul site any more, that why they call it the daily P.A.U.L peace gold and love

so these Ron Paul, non thinking, man crush needs to end. he is done, he will make speeches and books but hes done campaigning, so this a Liberty movement site so get with it.

GJ can learn where his weakness reside.

To the future now where ever it may be

Ron Paul should listen.

With liberty and justice for all...who can afford it.

Update: Ron If Swayed Will Run on Libertarian Ticket and We

need to let him know he has our support. Gary Johnson has said that he would step aside to let Ron run. Please go see post "It's Still Possible and comment there if you would support Ron and also contact Gary about stepping aside. I have a lot of admiration for Gary saying he would allow Paul to run instead of him.

More lies!

Not going to happen and YOU know it!

Granger, That is Not True, What Proof Do You Have? Why Wouldn't

Paul run 3rd party now when he has a chance to win? I think he probably still stands behind taking over the Republican party but we need Ron NOW to win this election. It Can Happen and We NEED EVERYONE's support, including yours.

I actually agree with Granger

I would love to see him run third party but he won't.
Rand would suffer in the ranks of the GOP if Ron bailed.

I do question Granger's devotion to the GOP though.

He Has Never Said He Would Not Run Third Party. He Gave the GOP

an opportunity and they were foolish to not support him because now Romney will lose. If he runs 3rd party you would support him wouldn't you?

I wanted him to leave the GOP after the rigged Iowa caucuses.
I'm actually even more comfortable voting for him outside the GOP.
I understand why he stayed, to get into debates and whatnot, but what does he have to lose now?

I was just saying he probably won't do it.
I think his son means more to him than we do.
It would put Rand in an awkward position.
Not that Rand didn't do it to Ron already, but Ron isn't the type to be vindictive toward his own family.

Please don't confuse personal devotion to loyalty oaths

I campaigned as a Ron Paul REPUBLICAN and it took 40 REPUBLICAN signatures willing to buck their own party to get me nominated. I can't let them down. To top it off, I had to sign a loyalty oath, My ballot comes in the mail with an envelope I have to sign. I am a public servant and I don't have the same privacy anymore, so to keep my seat, I will vote Romney, not FOR Romeny, but FOR the Ron Paul Revolution that will hold Romney and Co to the US Constitution at our coomittee meetings as we also take a loyalty oath to the constitution, and this is how we are going to WIN.

You're NOT a public servant.

WOW! You are really that full of yourself?
You are on a Republican central committee!! Come on.
You're not as important as you think you are.
You are a servant to the party only. Public servant my ass.
You can vote however you want.

That hit a nerve.

My ballot comes in the mail with an envelope I must sign, that goes in another envelope that goes to the county clerks office
I'm not saying I'm important.. I'm saying those seats are.

That is crazy that they make you sign a loyalty oath. More

control, more dictatorship and that is not what America is about. This is the land of the free or at least it use to be at one time. You should be able to vote for whomever you want, period.

Actually it makes sense

It's how they have chosen to eliminate trolls from taking over their party. If it was our party, would you want people to come and and claim to be delegates for Ron Paul going to the convention and voting for Romney? Would you want you committee members voting for Obama?

"Would you want you committee members voting for Obama?"
I would want all of my fellow Americans voting their conscience. Voting for who they will think would do the best job for America and the Constitution. Regardless what you sign under duress, when you walk into that voting booth, in complete privacy... Let your conscience be your guide.

You may have to pander and play the game on the outside of the booth, to help the movement,, but there's no need to pander in the privacy of the booth.

I'm past that vote your conscince.. did that for 33 years, and it doesn't work.. If I left it up to my conscience I would have NEVER done what Ron paul asked me to do and join the GOP. I'm at the point I think the American conscience is too shallow to depend on being moral as they can't seem to get past immediate satification.

I am sent a ballot that comes with an envelope that I must sign and then return in the other envelope provided that goes to the county clerk.

And this is what complete desperation looks like people

Shameful desperation actually.

November 6th 2012 I voted for Dr.Ron Paul
"We must remember, elections are short-term efforts. Revolutions are long-term projects." ~ Ron Paul

I'm gonna go look at the trees too.

Let's not ignore the fact that Ron also had this to say about Gary Johnson:

"I think he's wonderful and I think he's doing a good job"

Anonymous Libertarians

I am so happy about this! Thank You Dr Paul

Ron is doing all he can to show us that the GOP is not worthy of our movement. "The GOP is not my Party" Thank you Dr Paul. Time to dump the chumps. Rience Priebus's bosses won't like it one bit if enrollment in the GOP should suddenly drop, would they? We gave them a little boost in registrations, now it is our job to take it away. Switch Parties today (anybody but Romney)

You're a liar

Who is paying you to LIE about Ron Paul?
