3rd party run may not be a good idea.

the election process is corrupt and unfair to 3rd party candidates. a serious run would require a huge amount of money to be spent. it might be a better idea to conserve limited financial resources for something else that is more achievable. i would rather try to persuade dr. paul to try again as a republican in 2016, than to run now as a 3rd party candidate which would be very very expensive and almost certainly would end in more disappointment. it might diminish his stature in the minds of many voters. nobody hates the disgusting republican and democrat parties more than i do, but very unfortunately, there is no other way realistic hope of win elections. also, the libertarian and constitution parties already have their presidential candidates selected.

Check out my post about FEC rules on filing deadlines and Sore Loser Laws in certain states that would make Dr. Paul ineligible to run as an independent or in a 3rd party.
