I had a football analogy bouncing around in my head, but the baseball cartoon is spot on!
One thing Americans will not tolerate is a cheat, back in the day the term was "fair play", I don't hear that much anymore, but if we lost "fair and square" I don't believe any of us Republicans would have a problem backing Romney. I for one will be damned if I will vote for a cheat. Nuff said!
http://rense.com/ today (Sept. 3rd)! OMG!!! You don't want to miss this one, either!!!!
If you want to see other some other political illustrations by Dees: http://www.sl-webs.com/deesillustration/artwork.asp?cat=satire
Having now been through that representation of the issues of our time, from A - Z, I'm emotionally exhausted. David Dees is so talented. He'd do great publishing a liberty-oriented MAD MAGAZINE. What might be one of the creepiest of those pics is the one on Rense's home page:
I tried to get that yesterday but, couldn't so I just posted the Rense link. But that IS the Horror I wanted every here to see.
How'd ya do that?

Thanks for link. There's some awesome cartoons. I just started shotting projections/videos around Buffalo with a mobile mini projector and battery pack. These illustrations will make a great slideshow.
The revolution has just begun!
Veterans Today Rocks!
I remember the day I discovered that new variety of pine tree: THE CELL PHONE TOWER PINE TREE. It was an appropriate setting given the repugnant circumstance. I was in the parking lot of a courthouse, having been subpoenaed. (Harassment, the bogus charge was dismissed, but I didn't know that yet; in a legal case, you never know how things will go.) As I dragged myself out of my car, dreading the next hour, I looked up and experienced what is called a "cognitive disconnect." Against a backdrop of clear blue sky stood this very tall pine tree. You couldn't miss it. Towering high above the other trees, it's what ordinarily you might think to call "a majestic pine." Except it was so skinny, so... so... UGLY. I'm a tree-hugger. The bare branches of a scraggly old twisted witch hazel is a beautiful sight to me. To me, no tree could be ugly. Yet in a blink, the brain registered: ug-ly. Then it hit me. UGH! A man happened by. "Look!" I cried with alarm, pointing. "It's a cell tower!" The man looked up and declared, "You're right! I'm here all the time and never noticed." He frowned. "I'm kind of sorry you pointed it out. Now I'll always see it that way." He walked on. I stood alone staring up at the stiff, artificial branches, as that faux eyesore stood beaming its signals down on me. I wondered why I was even there to begin with. Again. The whole world was #$%^& up. I turned away, afraid I'd start crying. http://www.sl-webs.com/custimages/dd395-Diguise-site.jpg
DPers are "a tough crowd", as Michael Nystrom has said. I think they can handle the image being portrayed and they can certainly understand it!
Will give me nightmares. Thanks :/
Maybe it's better to have nightmares than to have to get used to seeing political leaders(?) like that. Oh, the Horror!
Ooooh..that IS a good one..:D
wrong spot to post.
Washington Nations Manager: I picked Ron Paul in the draft! I'm calling 'im up. Now!
Nation League Commissioner: No. Ron Paul does not believe in the draft.
Manager: What?!!! I picked 'im fair & square. He's mine!
Commissioner: No. Sorry. Ron Paul plays for the Constitutions.
Manager: No way! So, he wants ta play politics, eh? .... Hell! I'll nominate 'im!
Commissioner: That might work. Perhaps you could rename one of your positions... [Ponder. Light.] Ah ha! President, for example.
Manager: Thanks. I'll give 'im another call...
Commissioner: Hey, I got ta get back to New York. Thanks for inviting me to the game. See you in the playoffs. With Ron Paul in your line up, I might have to put you in another league... all by yourself. [Smile. Tip hat. To be continued...]

"I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands; one Nation indivisible with liberty and justice for all." - 1924 to 1954
I put this as my desktop, it looks great!!!!
Forward it to all your friends, family, relatives. If this doesn't spell out what happened, nothing does! LOL
that would get it.... Here's an analogy-
"Hi! I'm Satan! Yes, THAT one...I used to be a Democrat, but the establishment Republicans have chosen ME as their candidate! Hard to believe, huh? Well, anyway, I'm pro-war without end, spend us into oblivion, pro-police state, and have NO regard for you, yours, or any of that 'grass-rootsy' crap...Will you vote for me? After all, there's an (R) after my name...What do you say?"
My mom, a Baptist teetotaler who thinks she was being all avant-garde voting for Barry Goldwater in 1964, a real 'boat rocker'-..."Sure! Sean Hannity and Pastor Pete say you're the tops, even though they didn't used to say that."
it's hard to be awake; it's easier to dream--
