I would imagine you might not be thrilled about the idea, but you need to know how many of us feel about the future of America.
Your leadership and inspiration has changed the minds and hearts of millions, and there is a growing awareness in this country that (I believe) we must maximize NOW, while the energy is so passionate.
The nation might not survive four more years of the current madness, and YOU ARE THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN ALTER THE DIRECTION in which we are going. You are the only one we trust, the only one who has the guts to make the changes, and the only one who can give history the kick in the butt it needs. As I see it, virtually everything that makes this country great is at risk, beginning with our personal freedom, and ending with our dance with World War III.
I've been shouting out for Ron Paul for more than five years...signs all over my car, in my yard, and in my heart and in my speech. I became a Precinct Committeeman (woman) for the second time, visiting every house in my precinct and talking with people about why they must educate themselves more in order to choose wisely. I watched the RNC make hash out of common decency, common sense and the American way, and American politics has become so corrupt that I feel we MUST do all we can to complete the shift - right now while the energy is boiling.
PLEASE consider the above and think/pray/meditate on the difference you can make in our beloved nation by running third party. Maybe you're already considering it; maybe you've always considered it. What I'm sure of is that you are a man of crystalline integrity, and nothing short of your clear mind and pure message will turn this around.
America needs you Dr. Paul...please be creative (once more) and answer the call in whatever way your heart and body will allow.

Very nice letter if Ron decides to run I will support him 100% if not I hope he endorses Gary Johnson 2012 rite away. This would be our only chance of getting a leader who is NOT a evil king(TYRANT)and put a boot to the corupt two party system.

Are you really telling Paul, the messenger of self-responsibility and self-reliance that HE is "THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN ALTER THE DIRECTION in which we are going?"
It seems you have already forgotten what liberty means if you actually believe that.
Do you think your salvation depends on a president paul? Do you believe that you are so powerless that only the action of somebody else can help you?
I'm glad you posted this letter. It exhibits how so few of us actually believe in our own personal power to shape our future for ourselves.
Ron Paul wants us to become the next leaders of the Revolution by walking the walk. No more of this 'obiwan kenobi, you're my only hope' disempowering nonsense.
The message of liberty is empowering if you sit down with. But it is demanding. It demands that you have enough faith in yourself to create the world that YOU choose to live in.

although you are right in some of what you are saying, we do all need to have enough faith in ourselves (and for me our Creator)to find the courage to create and shape the world we wish to live in...and I also agree that we should all strive to be leaders, but the reality is that no leaderless army has ever achieved victory, that I am aware of. Like it or not, there is usually one person willing to stand at the front and give his army direction and focus. And Ron Paul is more than just a leader, he is a voice for all of us. We don't have access to the public at large, not the way that he does. Every time he stands in public to tell the people the truth about sound money, limited government and liberty, he speaks for all of us. I am so grateful to him for everything he has done to fight for all of us, and if he wishes to go, I wish him the very best, but if I had a choice, my choice would be to keep him around as long as I can, as selfish as that may be...

While I hope Dr. paul still take a leadership role in the movement, I'm not convinced he would step back into the presidential run. If he did, It would make the most sense to VP for Johnson as he is already on the ballot in all 50 states. Any other 3rd party run would simply be a symbolic run for the cause of liberty with no hope of garnering enough votes to make any significant difference in the outcome. IMHO..

For me, Ron's wisdom would choose the highest good for the country and his chances. I would imagine Gary would give him the top slot and all would be content with that. I support anything Ron believes to be in the best interests of the nation.
