Rachel Maddow- "Mitt Romney is no Ron Paul" Quote , Unquote"

On the show tonight she talked about Mitt Romney and how he did not mention the war in Afghanistan in his acceptance speech...."Mitt Romney is no Ron Paul" and chose not to talk about the war when it counts the most. Someone will post a link no doubt!

You weren't kidding, this IS a long clip.

It's quite a good one to demonstrate that America's leadership has been taken over, but it's losing credibility on both sides.

Thanks kllariv for posting this!

Further into the clip ...

The dem's are being conditioned by holding their conventions in right to work states and non union hotels. Read, tax payer money going to corporate profits.

I absolutely agree in right to work and the rights of collective bargaining. It's part of the free market.

Both are being destroyed by their (ahem) leadership to promote Fascism, and destroy Liberty.

Neither Party Leadership speaks of protecting individual freedom. The very idea America was founded on and caused her to prosper.

It's all about what they 'promise' to do for you today.

Darn Tootin

Ron Paul and Mitt Romney differ on almost every principle. Or, more accurately, Paul has principles while Romney has pragmatism.

By the end of this presidential campaign, Mitt Romney is going to be a national joke. He inspires no love or loyalty, and has zero credibility on freeing the healthcare market - the one issue on which many Americans are united against Barack Obama. In nominating Romney, the Republicans basically forfeited their decisive issue against Obama.

Ron Paul would have run circles around Barack Obama. It is a shame, really, because Obama is an abominable man obsessed with his own celebrity, and seeing him lose would have been extremely satisfying.

"Yesterday we obeyed kings and bent our necks before emperors, but today we kneel only to truth." - Kahlil Gibran

50 million tax dollars spent on each convention ...

Just like the stimulus they aren't getting any bang for the buck from borrowed money.

I think too many people are growing gardens, buying hard assets, and preparing for survival to pay any attention to the Party Rhetoric.

Let's see what the next 72 hr informercial accomplishes.

Thanks!

Love the link ^_^
