The panel takes a look at a report from a left leaning coalition on social services in Ontario. Are the stats credible? Does Ontario have problems that put the rest of Canada to shame? The report seems to suggest Ontario needs to put more money into social programs but what does the panel think?
A Liberal Senator has been voting on bills and participating in committee meetings after having been deemed "legally incompetent" by a doctor. The panel wonders what qualifies as legal incompetence and what faults in the Canadian senate does this case bring to the surface?
After dog bite incidents, a pit-bull ban is being considered in British Columbia. Should the government intervene to protect people from certain breeds of dogs? The panel considers everything from dogs as weapons to who is ethically responsible for an unexpected dog attack.
This week's panel is well filled out with The Bright Libertarian author Allen Small out of Markham, Ontario, journalist Lasia Kretzel in Ottawa, and Tim Moen with Fort McMurray Alt Media in Alberta.
After the panel wraps up, we throw up an edited down version of an interview with senior Ron Paul campaign adviser Doug Weed conducted by the good folks at www.WeAreChange.org. The interview gives us some insights into why the Paul campaign made some of the decisions it did leading up to the Republican National Convention.
