Thank you, Mr. Swann!

good to see Ben

good to see Ben getting to interview the major faces of politics, Romney-Ryan and now the President.

Dr.Ron Paul's 2002 Predictions

Obama going on Swann's show is about as dumb as they come, I was more of the mind that Obama was the socialist mastermind... nope guess he is just stupid

Ben Swann is Exceptional!

One journalist among a sea of propagandists!

Has Ben ever interviewed Ron

if not we need to get Ron interviewed by Ben. I think that would be so great.

How are you getting these interviews?

Ben, can you answer that question?

First Romney/Ryan, now Obombya?

I don't understand how you're being allowed "on stage" with these criminals. It's not like they don't have aides who vet their interrogators.

Furthermore, no doubt your questions to Obama must have been approved by his handlers, am I right? Or are you not allowed to discuss?

Both Obama and Romney are vying for independent voters or us!

And they know Ben Swann is well respected and watched by independents.

Uh oh

Ben Swann might have just gotten put on the kill list.

Southern Agrarian

I don't like this style of reporting

He asks the question, lets Obama answer, and then spends 10 times that amount of time telling us about the dis-ingenuousness of Obama's answer. He doesn't confront the President with his information or elicit a response about the facts he just presented. While I agree with what the reporter says, this is more commentary than anything else. It is not really asking Obama anything that's difficult for him deflect, or putting Obama on the spot.

What are you talking about?

He didn't "confront" the president? Or ask him anything "difficult"?

He just straight up asked him why he has an American kill list to his face.

Unless you expect him to retort Obama's answer with "you're lying and here's why" - that's not his job. Nor would that be the proper way to conduct an interview, which would also do more harm than good for obvious reasons.

And finally, the show is called "Reality Check", so commentary is not only expected - it's the main part of the show.

Well I guess asking

about the kill list is gutsy in today's world. Guess I remember what a free press used to be like. If you watch the way the tape is edited, there's no follow up, and Obama answers or deflects his question quite easily. He could of followed up by saying"but your own staff acknowledged the list, and it's common knowledge. Could you please comment on it?" or "so the 16 year old U.S. citizen killed in Yemen hurts AlQueda in Afghanistan?" Is that really too much to ask? Maybe so. I'll bet that if you watched the unedited interview you'd see the hard question the reporter did ask surrounded by all kinds of fluff.

Great Reporting

The two should run back to back

Wow Ben. Nicely done! Asking

Wow Ben. Nicely done!
Asking question to Obama, Romney, and Ryan as of late.
Ben Swann's got the reality check you won't find anywhere else.

The amount of respect I have

The amount of respect I have for Ben cannot be described in words. Ben Swann is to journalism what:

Muhammad Ali is to boxing

Michael Jordan is to basketball

Tiger Woods is to golf

Ron Paul is to politics

Michael Jackson is to pop music

Justin Bieber is to 13 year olds

.... Am I forgetting anything?

The audio doesn't work

at the fox19 site, either!!! And there's a comment there complaining about it, so I know I'm not the only one having problems with this video...

Utube and this site still work perfectly for me

AUDIO FIX - Worked for me

Hi All,

This problem happens With many Videos on youtube, and happens when the audio is being encoded on a single channel(Left or Right). Make sure that you have both earphones or speakers turned on/in ear, and make sure that your mixer on your OS has both channels balanced. In windows make sure the slider on the master channel and Wave channel is in the middle (Balanced) and not to one side. That should do it.

In the future it would help if those who are encoded the videos make sure the audio is on both the left and right channel. But I'm just glad some one is taking the time to do this at all. Thanks to the uploader of this video. Ben Swann is the man!!

Both here and at

the youtube link, after the first few seconds...there is NO audio!!!!

Ben~~you never cease to AMAZE me!

Congrats on getting the one on one interview with the President. Very PROUD of you. Thanks for all your really hard work & besides, what a wonderful guy you are, and it's great we have you on the side of TRUTH~~~and a nice-looking young man you are ta boot!

Like Ron Paul said, the Convention, the politicians~~"it's all politics", even the President.

I just hope we keep waking up Americans to the truth. It would be nice to wake up the RINOS & the hardcore DEMS, but I'm going to focus on an easier battle by focusing on the NORMAL REPUBLICANS & the NORMAL DEMOCRATS out there!

Ben even nailed the President!!! I love this guy!!

Thanks Ben

At least someone in the media is asking important questions, even though they don't get straight answers. Keep up the good work, Ben.

I don't know about you but;

I'm fed up. Had it up to here; you feeling me?

Thomas Sowell's take on Marxist Obama

Excellent article from an African-American writer who used to be a socialist, but did his own research. Accuses Obama of being young and guilible, a product of his upbringing, and not being intellectually curious enough to research opposing views.

After reading Barack Obama's book "Dreams from My Father," it became painfully clear that he has not been searching for the truth, because he assumed from an early age that he had already found the truth -- and now it was just a question of filling in the details and deciding how to change things.

Obama did not simply happen to encounter a lot of people on the far left fringe during his life. As he spells out in his book, he actively sought out such people. There is no hint of the slightest curiosity on his part about other visions of the world that might be weighed against the vision he had seized upon.

As Professor Richard Epstein of the University of Chicago Law School has pointed out, Obama made no effort to take part in the marketplace of ideas with other faculty members when he was teaching a law course there. What would be the point, if he already knew the truth and knew that they were wrong?

This would be a remarkable position to take, even for a learned scholar who had already spent decades canvassing a vast amount of information and views on many subjects. But Obama was already doctrinaire at a very early age -- and ill-informed or misinformed on both history and economics.

His statement in "Dreams from My Father" about how white men went to Africa to "drag away the conquered in chains" betrays his ignorance of African history.

The era of the Atlantic slave trade and the era of European conquests across the continent of Africa were different eras. During the era of the Atlantic slave trade, most of Africa was ruled by Africans, who sold some of their slaves to white men.

European conquests in Africa had to wait until Europeans found some way to survive lethal African diseases, to which they lacked resistance. Only after medical science learned to deal with these diseases could the era of European conquests spread across sub-Saharan Africa. But the Atlantic slave trade was over by then.

There was no reason why Barack Obama had to know this. But there was also no reason for him to be shooting off his mouth without knowing what he was talking about.

Similarly with Obama's characterization of the Nile as "the world's greatest river." The Nile is less than 10 percent longer than the Amazon, but the Amazon delivers more than 50 times as much water into the Atlantic as the Nile delivers into the Mediterranean. The Nile could not accommodate the largest ships, even back in Roman times, much less the aircraft carriers of today that can sail up the Hudson River and dock in midtown Manhattan.

I tried to find something

I tried to find something saying that Sowell (great writer/speaker) used to be a Socialist, but couldn't. Do you have anything to back that up?
