Critique of the President's speech at the DNC

I want to preface this by saying, I have supported Ron Paul since 2007, and I donated to every money bomb of Paul's 2012 campaign. Also, i'm 99% sure I'll vote for Governor Johnson in November.

This is my summary of the President's speech, and advice to the Republican Nominee.

Obama's main theme: The Democratic party wants to tax the rich to pay for you and your children's healthcare and education. The heartless Republicans want to take your healthcare and education away.

Romney's rebuttal should be simple. He has to defend the free market the way Ron Paul would. Romney should say: No, Mr. President, under your plan our grandchildren are paying for today's healthcare and education. Five trillion in debt in four years is even worse than Bush. Long term your plan is completely unsustainable. We need spending cuts now, so our grandchildren are not born into a debt situation so bad that no one can afford healthcare or education. What is your plan when China stops taking our fiat dollars, and the monetary system becomes so overextended that a gallon of gasoline cost $10 a gallon? Tax the rich? Well, because of your high taxes and socialist regulations many wealthy people have moved their businesses out of our country. Then who suffers? Unfortunately, middle class and the poor.

Who knows what Romney will say, or what he really thinks, but this election would be a lay up for Ron Paul.

Obama's other main critiques and contrast between him and Romney: Romney will keep our troops at war too long, gays should be able to marry, and we shouldn't have bailouts(you lie). Think about how easily Ron Paul would be able to counter and win those arguments! Republicans should have elected Ron Paul if all they wanted was to take out Obama. Instead we have a bailout and individual mandate supporting flip flopper. But hey, he sure does look Presidential doesn't he?

In defense of Obama, he

In defense of Obama, he inherited a yearly deficit of 1.5-1.7 trillion/year, and has turned that into a deficit of 1-1.2 trillion, while cutting taxes and having to deal with a recession.

I don't think Romney is going to cut anything, and he is far more likely to ramp up military spending than Obama. Moreover, he wants to raise taxes on the middle class while cutting taxes on the rich.

Plan for eliminating the national debt in 10-20 years:

I think Obama means well but

I think Obama means well but the system and his policies are terrible. He will win. Obama isn't the problem. The people telling him what to do are.

..just to downvote both of these posts. Obama is a ruthless dictator. He has a kill list. He has already murdered 2 US citizens because he deemed them terrorists. He supports the Fed and bernanke. He signed into law the NDAA. He voted to make the Patriot Act permanent. He has expanded our military world policing efforts. He does not care about the value of the dollar. Do not defend this tyrant.
