Taboo Subject, But I have to know...Submitted by avidlifestyle on Fri, 09/07/2012 - 07:39
Having given $400 to this, I have a right for the TRUTH;
How much Money and profits did Kurt and Eric con out of us from the Super Brochure Project? Was the Daily Paul getting paid to promote this? In my estimation, they walked away with 2 million dollars, bleeding money which should of otherwise went into the campaign, or our local grassroots efforts , and convincing us that their direct mail system (not the Campaigns Phone Banking direct mail system) was superior. It was obvious that they not only made money off each brochure, but the heavy profits made were the difference between the full price they charged us to mail it, and the .25-.30cents they saved through bulk mail discounts. 10's and sometimes 100's of thousands of these were bought by us state after state, and not one state we covered in full, won the vote. As a matter of fact, the 2 states we did the best in, New Hampshire and Maine, weren't covered at all, or at least, very little.
Without covering all the details and anti-SBP stances again ( I don't have time to write 10 pages) and the propaganda of Profiteering like "Anonymous Buyers matching precinct buys" towards the mailing end, Doug Wead had obviously stated in an interview after the RNC, the WE Are Change interview, that the campaign lacked funds to go after Romney in attack ads, and he called out people making money off the revolution and Ron Paul's name.
I'm sorry to bring this up, but after months of reflection and results, I think, as many warned then, that the Super Brochure Project was a complete scam, and waste of time, and a thorn in the side of Ron Pauls efforts and all those who phone banked for the campaigns direct mail.
I asked Ron Paul myself in San Diego, Ca at a private lunch on May 4th, what he thought of the SBP. Knowing he really couldn't comment on it because of campaign rules, he told me " I wish a lot more people would stick with the campaign's efforts, but don't let me stop you!" as he laughed in a friendly gesture.
P.S. I didn't see Kurt or Eric anywhere near the Republican National Convention (They're from FL) passing out SB's at our most crucial time of possible nomination... There wasn't any money in it for them to do so,in my STRONG and HUMBLE OPINION.
Also, I'm not a troll, not a Santorum lover, Not writing this because I'm flaming for Rick Perry, Not sent here by Herman Caine, Not part of The Obama Nation Army, Not a Hater, Not a Anti-Free Market keyboard jockey, None of the multiple crazy allegation verbal connotations I saw most of you guys attack others with the same questions like this in months past.... The worst of some of you came out when someone would write something you didn't agree with, and would call that person out for being a new DP member.. It was shameful!! Now that the official campaign is over, I just want to know..Sorry for asking, but I'm being honest!
