Efficient canvasing with the help of the Ron Paul Precinct Leader ToolsSubmitted by jonathan on Sun, 01/13/2008 - 14:29
I just spent some time looking through the material provided to me when I became a Ron Paul Precinct Leader. I think the information is very helpful. It lists the Republicans and Democrats in my precinct as well as the political issues they are concerned with. For example, I was listed as someone who wanted lower taxes (I'm not sure how they new, but they are right). Others were listed as gun owners or people concerned with the right to life issue.
All this information can be used to help focus your efforts on the most likely voters. Since I am in Arizona and the deadline to register as a Republican has passed I can focus only on the Republican voters in my precinct. In my case that eliminates some 70% of the house holds in my neighborhood. That is 70% of my time that can be spent focusing on votes that count.
So, please, please, please sign up to be a Ron Paul Precinct Leader. This is THE way to win the nomination. This is one area where the media can't compete with us. Face to face contact is more powerful than anything the media can shove at us through our TVs.
So far there are over 6000 Precinct Leaders. You can sign up at
