I understand what Dr. Paul

is saying but I was wondering, what about the Republic of China and the Republic of North Korea? Can anyone help me understand this?

Prepare & Share the Message of Freedom through Positive-Peaceful-Activism.

Democracy is mob rule (by man), 51% can make anything legal

Republic is the rule by law. Even if 99% decided to kill one group or another it cannot be done it is illegal, hence the Constitution. we are the only country in the world with our Republic type of govermenment.

I pledge allegence to the flag of the US of A, and to the REPUBLIC for which it stands, one nation...

China and Korea are Socialist Republics not like the US Republic. Our Constitution is like no other Country.

Actually we and China/North Korea are all oligarchies

We are ruled by an elite.

The only difference is marketing and semantics.

The USA has the most sophisticated marketing and advertising.

Tyranny is global and it IS the status quo.

This helped me, hope it does

This helped me, hope it does the same for you:

We are a REPRESENTATIVE Republic - unlike China and...

...other "republics."

That is the key.

Our form of republic (which simply means rule by LAW - not MAJORITY as in a democracy) uses representatives put there by the people.

In those communistic type of republics the leaders muscle their way in by some other means.

Personally I think many are mis-named as republic but that can be debated.

"We have allowed our nation to be over-taxed, over-regulated, and overrun by bureaucrats. The founders would be ashamed of us for what we are putting up with."
