Brad Pitt Speaks Out Against Proposed US Gun Ban

Brad Pitt Speaks Out Against Proposed US Gun Ban

Submitted by Stupid Celebrities on Sep 10, 2012

Brad Pitt doesn’t believe firearms should be outlawed, claiming he only feels truly safe at home when he has a gun.

The actor has always loved guns and received his first firearm as a young boy.

Pitt is hoping politicians won’t bow to public pressure to rescind its constitutional right to bear arms, believing America is a country founded on guns.

I call him Brad, Armpit

lol..

Thanks for posting. Another

Thanks for posting. Another celebrity I've seen speak out against gun control recently is ICE T.

From the guy that starred in Fight Club...

I would expect this point of view, or at least hope that some of the ideas in the film sunk in.

"Liberty's too precious a thing to be buried in books...Men should hold it up in front of them every single day of their lives and say: 'I'm free to think and to speak. My ancestors couldn't. I can. And my children will."

-Jimmy Stewart

Well at least it's not like he has an informed opinion

"I was in the U.K. when the shootings happened and I did hear the discussion about gun control start again, and as far as I know it petered out as it always does."

Uh yeah...with Britons being universally disarmed.

There is nothing strange about having a bar of soap in your right pocket, it's just what's happening.

Brad Pitt is...a PITTiful

Brad Pitt is...

a PITTiful political MORON. Otherwise, not too bad of a pretty boy actor. Hmph.

PROOF :

1. he bothers to speak out on a single issue that directly affects HIS personal freedom, awwww... poor little DARLING SWEETIE PIE !

Er.. and what about the enslavement of your fellow citizens by the welfare and police state ?

At the same time, though :

2. the dude sleeps with a bloodthirsty "woman" who finds HUMANITARIAN WARS justified and "GOOD" (!) (e.g., Syria and Kony 2012 earlier this year)

... under U.N. authority and after her CFR buddies' advisory (!!!)

Brad :

pretty please ... JUST SHUT UP already, Thank You Bunch, and get a clue of the UGLY THING you got in your bed.

MASOCHISTIC CRETIN you are.

P.S.

And yes, I TRULY hope he would read this. I'll be glad to answer any question he would "SHOOT" at me. Pun intended.

Much welcome !

My apologies to Mr. Brad Pitt

Fair enough.

My sincere apologies, Mr. Brad Pitt.

You're not a moron.

You're not a cretin.

You're not pitiful.

And you can have anybody you want as your significant other, sure.

You're largely forgetful, though.

Here's YOUR Bill of Rights, just below; your Right to Bear Arms is merely the second item.

There are NINE others of them to stand for, sir.

First Amendment [Religion, Speech, Press, Assembly, Petition (1791)]

Second Amendment [Right to Bear Arms (1791)]

Third Amendment [Quartering of Troops (1791)]

Fourth Amendment [Search and Seizure (1791)]

Fifth Amendment [Grand Jury, Double Jeopardy, Self-Incrimination, Due Process (1791)]

Sixth Amendment [Criminal Prosecutions - Jury Trial, Right to Confront and to Counsel (1791)]

Seventh Amendment [Common Law Suits - Jury Trial (1791)]

Eighth Amendment [Excess Bail or Fines, Cruel and Unusual Punishment (1791)]

Ninth Amendment [Non-Enumerated Rights (1791)]

Tenth Amendment [Rights Reserved to States (1791)]

And here's a hint for you to stand better for those :

Better insights ?

Peace.

When a baby takes it first step

Do you shower it with insults and disgust for not being able to run a marathon and for having a smelly diaper? Or do you cheer it on and encourage it to take the next step?

Ease up on the venom. Encouraging people works far better than attacking them even if you're right.

I'll be honest, I think you

I'll be honest, I think you went a little over the top on your analysis of Brad Pitt.

1. At least he is speaking out on something. Without those guns that he is defending what chance do Americans have against the welfare/police state that you speak of? Not much. He is still defending a highly valued American Right. And I'd rather have him defend it than go against it.

2. I know quite a few married couples who vary on political belief. And I don't know what his personal view is, but you can't judge him solely by his significant other's politics. Or the fact that he sleeps with someone you disagree with, to be more precise.

He is free to talk about whatever he wants and you can disagree with it all you want. If you don't like it, too bad.
