Tom Woods on Jesse Benton

It is scathing e.g.

Ask yourself this: how much money would you have to be paid to work for an enemy of the things you’re supposed to stand for? Maybe now people will understand why Jesse would fly into a tirade after some of Ron’s most heroic moments, when the rest of us were cheering.

I could go through a lengthy catalogue of problems with Benton. The grassroots folks already know a lot of them, so there’s probably no need. What’s done is done.

I withdrew all financial support on 5-15-12

That was the day Benton gave his bungled and perfidious press conference. At that conference, Benton said Romney has "an insurmountable delegate lead." He goes on to say there is zero chance Paul will support Gary Johnson, and the campaign is in discussion with the Romney campaign about platform issues.

The Paul campaign had the nerve to ask me for more money (on top of the ~$1200 I gave to Ron Paul 2012 and C4L over the past year). Since that date, every email and letter I have received from C4L, YAL, and Ron Paul 2012 has been sent immediately to the trash can.

I love Ron Paul, but Benton made me wish I had never donated one cent.

We all want progress, but if you're on the wrong road, progress means doing an about-turn and walking back to the right road; in that case, the man who turns back soonest is the most progressive.

I wondered~~Tom

but I wasn't sure it was "Benton" who was the thorn in your side. I wonder if the other person is that guy Thiel, or whatever his weird name is.

I am dying to know who the other "Benedict" is...

This really angers me, the whole darn thing. To think my husband and I have given $$$thousands of dollars to this campaign. I mean, did Ron know Benton was pilfering the account for donations? I guess he made an agreement with Ron to earn so much money, but that kind of money is egregious, ESPECIALLY since we were all a grassroots organization.

Heck, Dr. Paul could have drawn on the resources of all the incredibly talented people to support his campaign for next to nothing, instead of hiring Jesse Benton!! I daresay WE, as a group, would have done 100 times better than what insufferable results we had to live with!

And, we all could have put together Campaign committees & even State committees for advertising, debate coaching, attire, Pundit handling, etc. etc., you know? This is really disgusting, and what REALLY, REALLY hurts me is all the young people who gave their last dimes for the campaign towards the end. Thank GOD most of us stopped "giving" when we realized something was terribly wrong, at the point the campaign stopped fighting the Media, Romney, etc. etc.

What a SAD, SAD commentary. Well, I guess Dr. Paul has to accept Benton, but it makes me wonder what all the conversations have been flowing back & forth between Dr. Paul and Carol. Yeh, that makes me wonder....a lot.

Thiel is not involved with

Thiel is not involved with the Paul campaign. He just donated to Paul.

Benton should be SUED for FRAUD

Making false and misleading statement while solliciting donations while you are working behind the scenes for someone else sounds like CORRUPTION to me no ?

Thank you Tom Woods

For the inside scoop on Jesse Benton. I really wasn't sure about him due to the conflicting opinions I've seen on DailyPaul and elsewhere. But Tom's word is as good as gold to me. That goes for Ron Paul as well, but sometimes family members can be the biggest hangers-on of all. It can't be denied that Jesse used RP's success and loyalty to his granddaughter to promote himself at the campaign's expense. Shame on Jesse, and I guarantee I'll never donate one red cent to anyone or anything he's associated with again.

Tom Woods is a man of the highest integrity. Jesse Benton? Well...

Resist the temptation to feed the trolls.

I have the utmost respect for Tom Woods

He has never given me a reason not to. I am amazed at what was going on under Ron's nose. I love Dr. Paul, but did he really not know what was going on?

Wow, this was not a tremor in the Liberty movement and...

...the former Ron Paul camp-pain, but an earthquake of gargantuan proportions. I KNEW IT WAS TRUE -- that Benton was a traitor and of low character. I personally believe he is a NWO plant, who's sole mission was to neuter RP's campaign. TPTB knew that Ron Paul was gullible and could manipulated by family (by those you SHOULD be able to trust), so they send a grandson-in-law to be their Trojan virus.

I've heard similar stories from my good friend, David Adams, that's all I can say, when David was pushed out by Benton, AFTER David orchestrated the landslide victory over his primary opponent.

Benton is scum. It makes perfect sense why he'd want to work for scum Senator McConnell, a redcoat.
