PLEASE tell me that you are not seriously going to try to

turn the DP into a JV campaign site!?

~Your perception becomes your reality~

Well, I have major problems

Well, I have major problems with Ventura like his desire to abolish the electoral college. No way in hell, Jesse!

Typical Jesse

All WE have to do is
1) Work our butts off to make sure HE (not a party - HIM) can get into the debates
2) Work our butts off to make sure that HE (not a party - HIM) is on the ballot in all 50 states and Puerto Rico
3) And if ALL OF THAT IS IN PLACE.... then he would "give serious consideration to running".

Gee... thanks, Jesse. Now go enjoy your surfboard and your six months off in Mexico..... We'll get right on it! YESSIRREEE!! My heart's just pumpin now!

I will never understand the enthusiasm for Jesse as a potential candidate.

Thomas Jefferson: “Indeed, I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just, that His justice cannot sleep forever."

If Ventura is serious about

If Ventura is serious about WINNING in 2016 then he needs to begin working on this immediately. Jesse needs to begin running immediately as if he is being chased by a pack of wolves.

...

Listening to him on AJ now

He would be a formidable opponent against the 'DemoCRIPS and ReBLOODlicans' in 2016. To pull this off he would have to start organizing and fund raising as soon as November is put to bed.

JV has his heart in the right place...

But when it comes down to representing us is an embarrassment. He's never said a word that indicates he subscribes to Austrian economics. In fact just the opposite as he praises FDR's efforts to "help the common man" in American Conspiracies.

Ahem!

"Free Market," define your terms...

I take it a step further and

I take it a step further and wonder if he isn't just a useful and boisterous tool for some manipulator to sully the image of decent truth seeking Americans.

He certainly has no place representing the liberty movement. The simple fact that he can see the sham of the two party system doesn't hold nearly enough weight at this point in the game.

RP is dangerous, so dangerous

No-Party ticket? never heard of that

I don't even know what the No-Party party is or what they stand for. I am a new libertarian and joined because it was pretty self expanitory and made sense throughout. the defenition is in the name. but the No-party party. I'm confused. will he be in the primary debates then? obviously that matters.

It's About Damn Time

Let's Roll Jesse !!!

Life is a sexually transmitted disease with a 100% fatality rate.
Don't Give me Liberty, I'll get up and get it myself!

so...he'll be running against Rand?

NICE. I hope Ventura blows Rand out of the water.

Rand is not running.

Jessie Ventura 2016 !

You hope a moderate like

You hope a moderate like Ventura (go look at his record as governor) blows out a libertarian conservative like Rand Paul?

Ventura for U.S. Senate 2014

Jesse Ventura for U.S. Senate 2014

He should run on a repeal 17th (and 16th) amendment platform.

Show me a US Senate candidate in favor of repealing the 17th amendment and I'll show you the only U.S. Senate candidate worth supporting.

Hey Wes, pretty cool man!

Hey Wes, what you said about "US Senate candidates in favor of repealing the 17th amendment" was pretty cool man! I agree w/ SFTS too. It does sound exactly like something Jesse Ventura would say, lol! His chances of success are interesting to ponder. I know he's got a solid base in MN and name recognition, but he also now has a history of saying very controversial things in the media, which I like that about him, but could be used against him by MSM smear campaigns. Like Ron Paul, Jesse is his own worst enemy.

I hope he sees this, and runs for Senate instead. I hope he takes your line for a campaign slogan too!

That is more realistic

"Show me a US Senate candidate in favor of repealing the 17th amendment and I'll show you the only U.S. Senate candidate worth supporting."

OMG that sounds like something he would say. I swear, at the same time I was reading this, I could hear Ventura's voice narrating in my head. lol

But I totally agree. He could have a realistic shot at getting elected to the Senate in 2014. Personally I think Gary Johnson should run for Senate in 2014 on the Libertarian ticket. We need to be eying the 2014 midterms not the 2016 White House. This country needs good men and women to step to the plate for liberty and constitution NOW, sooner not later.

I hope he does it, I would

I hope he does it, I would vote for him.

You got me a little excited until I clicked on the link...

2016 is too far off. We either have to work to get Gary Johnson or do nothing... We need to show that we have the power to mobilize and show the powers to be that their two party system will crumble.

Hope he does it...

Works for me...
