President Obama's Statement On Attack On Libyan EmbassySubmitted by rogerfgay on Thu, 09/13/2012 - 14:05
With all the hubbub over Romney's criticism of Barack Obama's response to the attacks, I think everyone should be clear on what Barack Obama actually said, so here's the YouTube link to his statement.
Romney was actually criticizing a statement from the US Embassy in Cairo, that was made while the crisis was reaching a peak. My guess is that the embassy was trying to calm things down. It's my view that Romney's use of the statement, which the White House rejected as the US position, was not merely unpresidential. Spinning the words of people under fire for one's own political gain is a despicable and cowardly act.
I do not want someone of Romney's character anywhere near the White House. He should be banned from entering Washington, DC.
