Latest polls are a DISASTER for Romney

And we have not yet seen the fall out from Romney's disastrous handling of the attack on the Libyan Consulate.
But we have a good idea of what to expect in the near future from this quick poll by CNN.

Who do you trust more on Foreign Policy?
Obama 79%
Romney 21%

So in essence ALL Democrats, ALL Independents and over 20% of REPUBLICANS trust Obama more on Foreign Policy than Romney.
And with good reason.
Romney is easily flustered, makes snap (and therefore often erroneous decisions, as seen by the number of gaffes he makes) cannot think on his feet and does not know how to deal with people who disagree with him.
Romney is the last person I would want to see with his finger on the nuclear trigger or as CIC in command of thousands of cruise missiles.

The Latest Polls

Romney is losing ALL the toss up states, except North Carolina.
He continues to slide in the polls since the normal bounce from naming his VP and holding his convention petered out.
Romney only got just over half the average bounce that normally comes from these events.
In contrast Obama did get a decent bounce from DNC, but it's a bit early to tell whether it is above, below or about average. Early indications are average+.

Excellent analysis as usual

destroy the neocon elements wherever they occur in the GOP.

Time for me to make some money...

off of Intrade, lol! Thanks for being such a disaster Romney!

I already have my bets on

shorting Romney at 43% plus during the Tampa convention.

Romney now at 35% on intrade and falling.

You have to take good odds when you see them, when you make your living gambling on the stock market :)

"In the end, more than they wanted freedom, they wanted security. They wanted a comfortable life, and they lost it all -- security, comfort, and freedom. When ... the freedom they wished for was freedom from responsibility, then Athens ceased to be free."

I think the neoconservative

I think the neoconservative foreign policy is the most dangerous. I see our foreign policy being the single greatest factor that leads to the most loss of respect. When we became the undisputed superpower after WWII, we decided to police the world and the military industrial complex has been poisoning the minds of politicians. We are not even a democracy and we want to force democracy on other nations! Just how absurd is this?

Obama and Romney both have a neoconservative foreign policy. The only difference is that Romney would be more aggressive and make more impulsive decisions because he has set himself up as the strongest on defense as a major part of his primary campaign. Thus, he cannot appear weak, and thus, many more will die under him I suspect than under Obama.

Excellent analysis. Thx
