♠ Ron Paul Gary Johnson or None of the Above? There's reason to vote on November 6th

There are 3 kinds of Paul people, those who will: 1) Write Ron Paul in; 2) Vote Gary Johnson or other 3rd party 3 )Not vote at all on November 6th

#3 is NOT ACCEPTABLE. You can leave the President part blank if you feel that's really what your conscience tells you, BUT there are LIBERTY CANDIDATES who will also be on the ballot during this presidential election!!! As I have outlined in this thread: http://www.dailypaul.com/242897/updated-list-of-liberty-cand... there are literally hundreds of people we need to vote for.

One of the most unique things about the general election is that people who don't even care about politics feel obligated to go out and vote just because it's voting for the President. Think about how many people; those who support Romney, Obama, who don't even care. Why not ask them to vote for this person for the House, Senate, School board, county commissioner, general assembly, state auditor, court judges, etc? You could say something like, "Hey, would you mind voting for a buddy of mine?" (make up any excuse you want) And because your Romney or Obama friend isn't the wiser, there's a good chance they'll be like : Sure, I'll help you out. Because they don't have any of the preconceptions about the guy or gal you asked them to vote for.

If your friend or neighbor is a Santorum person, say your friend is a big pro-life guy. If Obama, tell them how your guy always talks about helping those in need. There's a real good chance that the person you talk to really won't care about the little guys in the election and may agree to it as a favor to you. Your parents not Paul people or feel they have to vote for Romney because the goal is to get Obama out? Guilt trip them into voting for your other guy/gal to appease you/make it up to you for voting the status quo. Go to your church and hand out index cards with the names of candidates recommending your congregation to vote for. Heck, even say that if they vote for your guy, you'll vote Romney/Obama. A little white lie won't hurt anyone. Be creative, go your own way.

Think about the real change that could be done if we added 10, 20, 100 more liberty minded people to office. The following list is who I have collected so far. Please look them over, research them on your own and make up you own mind. The list will be updated here: (http://www.dailypaul.com/242897/updated-list-of-liberty-cand...)

PLEASE, get this list out to everyone you know. Get it out to whatever local group you belong to. Re-tweet it, post it on Facebook, Reddit, any and everything you can think of. And do it repeatedly and more often the closer we get to November 6th. Too many people don't even know about these people and don't go on DailyPaul. It's up to YOU to get the word out grassroots style!

any major dude will tell you

the dan

I absolutely agree

that if there are Liberty candidates at play, it is a reason to go to the polls and vote. Who cares on the Presidential slot. BUT if there can be enough people in the congress to OBSTRUCT the current direction, that would be welcome.

Thomas Jefferson: “Indeed, I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just, that His justice cannot sleep forever."

1) Write Ron Paul in <----- That's me

but I like that you're seeing past your nose. Even if I didn't write Dr.Paul in, that's exactly what I would do too.

Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution, inevitable.

Lie to your friends

bring them over to the good side?

Richard Mourdock

I must have to say, I'm surprised that Richard Mourdock from Indiana is on this list. I do not align with him very much on the issues and must say that Andrew Horning is a ton better. How can you have both listed if they are running against each other? I'll be voting for Horning as Mourdock is a fake tea-partier.

The OP added both after my question.

How are these candidates certified for the list? Does someone like Mourdock, a tea party, FreedomWorks, Koch Bros candidate who is maybe 70% Liberty views make the list, or should someone like Horning, a 100% Libertarian make it?

Notice they also added Pence (WTF) and Boneham for governor.

I will vote for Horning and Boneham, but I have to admit that anyone is better than Lugar and few could measure up to Mitch.

There is one thing I am sure of

no matter who I vote for, I will be saying NO to Mitt Romney.

I'm Voting GJ - The Rest Of You Should Vote Romney

I fear 4 more years of Obama

4 more years of a big spending liberal

or 8 years of a big spending liberal. The only difference is the amount of time in office.

"not acceptable" to who?

That statement reminds me of the authoritarian politicians and hack pundits who've openly discussed legislation to make voting mandatory. You might not like it, but many of us have come to terms with the fact that the system is rigged and won't play the voting game anymore. I've chosen to support the nullification movement because I think it's a much more effective tool to get what we really want: the Federal Govt. off our backs. Btw, about 50% of Americans who are qualified to vote stay away from the polls pretty consistently. If you really believed in democracy, you'd respect their choice ;-)

imagine the good that could

imagine the good that could be done if that 50% thought differently

What good would that be?

The result would probably be more votes for the reps and dems. Your assumption that they'd vote 3rd party is wishful thinking imho. At least when they don't vote, they take away the illusion of legitimacy from the establishment.

Colorado

Unfortunately, David Justice lost the primary to the big government neo-con.
