Ron Paul raised my self esteem

Ron Paul raised my self esteem. I was never lacking in the self esteem department but a lot of my self worth was misguided. Ron Paul was the first person (or i should say his message) that ever gave me the desire to read and self educate. I have been interested in a lot of different things in my life but have never had the drive to master any one thing. Ron Paul, a man who I have never met changed my life.

The OP gets to the heart of the Ron Paul

phenomenon. I regret this thread is not featured on the Front Page.

Maybe we need

one more little bump. I hope it makes it also.

raised my

blood pressure or was that mitty, I tell ya it's fubared

To elaborate on my post

I would think the greatest impact that an average political figure might have on someone is that they might inspire someone to get involved in politics.. Discovering Ron Pauls message has done so much for me, not including a desire to become a politician. My outlook on EVERYTHING has changed right down to the way I treat people. I am more positive, compassionate, friendly, motivated, driven, etc in every aspect of my life.. Most of my goals in life have changed though they never had, and still don't have anything to do with politics. Ron Paul is a great motivator. You cannot follow Ron Paul and not strive to be a better person.. When faced with a crossroad I find myself asking "what would Ron do.".

Thank you Ron Paul

Law and liberty cannot rationally become the objects of our love, unless they first become the objects of our knowledge.

considering libertarians might be the smartest top 1% + work

ethics because its ethos states independence on its outset--the philosophy nurtures nothing but capable people. so ya, i would assume a few of us with pre-existing 'freedom streak' to already carry a sizable ego. of course, it is important to guide it in the right direction, and this is where i owe a life time's worth of appreciation to ron paul

You said it perfectly

thank you.

What Ron Paul

... did for me was to restore my faith in the possibility of our government performing in the way it was intended. I love the way Ron Paul stays true to his values and isn't afraid to state the same, over and over and over. I'm always amazed when Dr. Paul is interviewed and asked what he would do first if he were elected President. His first answer is always, "I'd start with bringing home the troops." After the interview, the commentators always turn to one another and declare they didn't get an answer. Baffling!

In 2009, my then 10 year old grandson, a friend and I drove from California to Galveston just to attend Ron Paul's birthday bash & fundraiser for his next term in Congress. I have never been more impressed with someone in the public eye. Humble, family man, good doctor, business owner,Air Force veteran, fiscally responsible, economics expert, believer in the U.S. Constitution and the American people... what more could anyone want in a President?! I just don't understand how others don't/won't see it?

Thank you Congressman Paul for your many years of service to this country in so many ways! And thank you to his family as well.

Yes, for us, too! Dr. RonP gave us the courage & joy to

speak out and express our LOVE & beliefs in PEACE, individual LIBERTY, sound money and such. Seeing many local people instantaneously show up to the local RP meetups and around RonP r3VOLution banners was VERY surprising & refreshing to us. Yup, our lives have never been the same since. . . early 2007.

Now, wherever we go we find intelligent warm RonPaulian people from different walks of life.

Never will I be the same

Since I am Born Again I can say politically Ron Paul has given me the same sense of renewal....I don't think anyone has planted seeds for the next Generation as well as Doctor Paul has. I have no doubt those seeds, with our help, will change the world.

I agree

The confidence comes from clarity, which is Ron Paul's greatest gift to us all.

I think

Ron Paul being himself and his message is so clear changed most of us. I mean, How much more perfect can you be? If it was just about ANYONE else, we would be find out corruption or "just a politician" consistency.

Thanks for the sweet post.

Thanks for the sweet post. Don't you worry, we're all in the same case I believe, with his message changing all our lives !

Mine, from the beginning I heard about him, not so long ago (18 or so months)

He still does.

Changed my life too

Although there are many things he taught me, he introduced me to thinking about Liberty more deeply. Now, because of his work we have resources like this to spread the Philosophy of Liberty (in 3 different languages too!):

"It’s not pessimistic, brother, because this is the blues. We are blues people. The blues aren’t pessimistic. We’re prisoners of hope but we tell the truth and the truth is dark. That’s different."

.

I pretty much have no fear of fighting against the most evil and corrupt people in the world.

Good times!

I feel

...THE SAME WAY!

Thank you Dr Paul!

Me

too:)
