Look, Hitler may be sort of an extremist, but the autobahn sure would improve my commute time...
You vote for either one of these fascists and you put your name on EVERYTHING THEY DO!
Fuck Romney (the aspiring child-killer-in-chief)
Fuck Obama (the current child-killer-in-chief)
Fuck Johnson (the fake "libertarian" ignoramus)
Oh, and Fuck Rand Paul too in 4-8 years, as he already has blood on his hands with his Iran sanctions and perpetuation of the lie that Iran is building a bomb. Sanctions are killing people as we speak and inflicting suffering on an entire population of innocents.
Anyone who votes for any of those frauds is a sucker. I will write in or vote for Ron Paul every election until we get a new Ron Paul.
I don't play, I commission the league.
hahahaha. You actually believe the republicans are going to repeal Obamacare? It's all campaign promises. Romney is a fraud, just like Obama, and just like 99% of Congress.
SNL quote from a year ago to this day! October 15th:
"Now we realilize there is nothing to be hopeful about. The time for dreaming is over, it's time to settle, and nothing says you're settling like Mitt Romney."
-Mitt Romney's SNL impersonator
By the way, I'm not settling.
Most Ron Paul supporters are "awake" to a certain degree, and see the deception of the two party system. They are both the two sides of the same coin.
The bigger picture is one which requires the term "conspiracy". One can research and connect all the dots and see a well formed web, but what is elusive is the arterial gossamers. So the trail becomes elusive for a lot of researchers, however the portions of this articulated web is patently clear of its calculated and precise pattern, but only if you untangle yourself from it and step back far enough to observe.
An agenda is afoot, and has been in the works for at least a century.
Which came first, the mouth or the rectum?
the Republican and Democratic Parties." - George Wallace
Wallace made that statement at a time when he was seeking the presidency through a third party. Ironically, four years later (1972), he was winning states in the Democratic primaries. Had he not been shot, he would have been the Democratic nominee in 1972 and it's possible he would have beaten Nixon.
So, why did he abandon his third party and return to the Democratic Party? Because just like Ron Paul, he realized you can't beat the two-party system. It doesn't matter if you're a billionaire, Teddy Roosevelt, or a regional revolutionary like Wallace. The ONLY way to effect change in this country is THROUGH the two party system. Try to go around it and you fail. That's the way it's always been. That's the way it always will be.
It doesn't matter if you're a billionaire
Ross Perot is a multi-billionaire, and there is no doubt in my mind that he would have won in 1992 if he didn't idiotically shoot himself in the foot by dropping out - all this despite being in the Reform Party. He was able to do this because he had enough money to allow him to buy his way into the field from the outside.
And who controls the mainstream media?
the "mainstream media?"
Those of you claiming Romney won't repeal Obamacare, lower taxes, loosen regulations, stop funding to Planned Parenthood, appoint Conservative Justices, and turn government programs over to the states don't really care about any of those things. You don't WANT Romney to do any of those things because if he did it would hurt your Libertarian Party.
Those of us claiming Willard won't repeal Obamacare, lower taxes, loosen regulations, stop funding to Planned Parenthood, appoint Conservative Justices, and turn government programs over to the states are smart enough to realize that when Willard's moving his lips, he's lying.
Completely delusional. How much Kool-Aid can one "paleo-con" consume?
for me to bring myself to hold my nose and vote for that flip-flopping, naive, opportunistic son of a $&%@$
Romney's call for repeal is a fake since he has already said that the government should guarantee that people won't be denied insurance becaue of "pre-existing condition." Also, my friend, war is the leading issue in this election and Romney is far worse than Obama on that issue.
that he would "keep the good parts" of Obamacare, and he's thanked Obama in an interview for "ripping off his healthcare plan". Oh, and let's not forget his infamous "I like mandates" debate gaffe.
is a sanction of the one-party system that masquerades as a two-party system. If the Republicans lose the GOP will be deeply wounded and pushed back on its heels and it will provide a toe-hold for beginning to take down the whole wretched lie.
I want 'blood on the floor' of the Republican Party. I'll take the devil you know for the chance to start bleeding out their toxic power.
“Educate and inform the whole mass of the people... They are the only sure reliance for the preservation of our liberty.” —Thomas Jefferson
Obama doesn't deserve a second term. With this group I don't need to go into the details of why (unemployment, debt, median income, price of gasoiline, religious liberty, Obamacare, foreign policy, and unconstitutional executive orders to name a few). If Obama is re-elected the message is set loud and clear: there is no punishment for being as bad a President as Obama has been. There is only one candidate with a chance of defeating Obama and that's Romney. Romney has promised to repeal Obamacare. Maybe, those of you who say Romney won't repeal Obamacare are correct. I know one thing for sure if Obama is re-elected he won't repeal Obamacare. Our only hope to stop Obamacare from going into effect is Romney. Let's face it, once Obamacare goes into effect our fellow Americans are likely to adjust to it and not push for its repeal. This maybe our last best chance of getting rid of it.
I know some of you urge a vote for Johnson on principle. I can't give up a chance to defeat Obama to vote for someone that wants to send troops to Uganda, is in favor of a national sales tax, is in favor legalized abortion, and wants to use the power of the federal government to force states to recognize gay marriage. My principles are different than yours.
Others urge a write-in vote for Ron Paul. If you live in a state that will count your vote I honestly can't criticize your decision. If I lived in such a state I don't know what I would do. But I live in Connecticut and they won't count a Paul write-in so my number one priority is defeating Obama.
..only Romney can win. Gee, Bob. Maybe you could read about the Jesse Ventura campaign, or thousands of other come-from-behind-to-win campaigns.
Bob foolishly believes Romney will repeal Obamacare. http://articles.nydailynews.com/2012-09-09/news/33718376_1_r...
Bob doesn't know that a hunk of Obamacare has already taken effect.
2.1 Effective at enactment
2.2 Effective June 21, 2010
2.3 Effective July 1, 2010
2.4 Effective September 23, 2010
2.5 Effective January 1, 2011
2.6 Effective September 1, 2011
2.7 Effective January 1, 2012
2.8 Effective August 1, 2012
Bob means well, but doesn't realize Obama and Romney are bought and paid for by the same banks, media corps, and defense contractors to give back the exact same things.

There is no need for any us to think, we have Dave to do that for us. Dave will not only tell us what he knows and thinks he'll also tell us what we know and think! Lucky(?) for us we have the one, the only (thank God) Dave to handle all of our thinking for us!
Yes, I am aware that some parts of Obamacare are in effect. I'm also aware that other parts (like the individual mandate) don't go into effect until 2014. More importantly, most Americans think the bulk of Obamacare goes into effect in 2014. In an election the important audience is the average American voter not people who live, breathe and sleep politics.
Do you really think that Obama cares if Johnson gets 1.2% or 1.3% of the vote or if Paul gets 2,000 or 3,000 write-ins? I don't, but I think he cares if he loses his job. Let future President's know that if they screw with the American people enough they will be thrown out of office. If we don't throw him out the next President will push the envelope harder.
As you get older you'll realize that its more productive to share ideas with people then to be aggravating. This is the last response I'll write to this thread so have fun.
If the top two candidates are Joseph Stalin and Adolf Hitler, Bob will vote for Stalin before he votes for Ron Paul because Stalin is the only one who can win.
Gee Dave, what would I do without you? Thanks for telling me what my principles are!
Actually if Paul were on the ballot I'd vote for Paul but maybe you can explain to me what would be accomplished by writing in Paul when the state has informed us that they won't count the vote. I've never missed a Presidential election and I'm not going to start now.
You want to root for the football team that is already winning, not the team from your hometown or school or value system.
But, politics isn't anything like football with a level playing field and fair minded referees.
Your vote for Romney is an endorsement of Romneycare.
Your vote supports a stepped up war on drugs.
It is an endorsement of world domination and torture.
It puts you on the side of the banksters.
Your vote supports the Republican Party bosses and makes light of election irregularities all across the country.
You support a debate system that crushes and eliminates dissent.
Johnson is not nearly as well read as Dr. Paul, almost nobody is, but he's the best we have.
I stopped reading after "YOU'RE RIGHT, BOB."
I'm glad you've seen the light! The heavens rejoice when a sinner sees the light and repents. I'll be sure to put in a good word for you with President Romney!
CT will go to Obama regardless of your vote.
Why not, instead of validating the GOP's pick of a dedicated RINO who already signed Obama/Romneycare into law once, vote for someone who may actually send the GOP bigwigs a message that they need to run candidates a bit less big-government'ish next time, in order to get more votes?
2012 is a lost cause regardless of whether Tweedledee or Tweedledum wins. 2016 may be different. But not if GOP strategists get to persist in thinking that the way to win, is to try to capture as many democrats as possible, by bending over for them; without any fear that doing so will lose support from conservatives.
If Obama wins anyway then the message has been delivered that sucking up to the middle doesn't work.
It could also mean that you just gotta suck harder (up to the middle) next time. While a sizable GJ/Goode/Paul write in bote make that case much harder to make.
Have you listened to Romney? He's the guy who signed Romneycare into law in MA. Trying to get republicans opposed to it, to "understand" that he "had" to do it because of a Democrat controlled state senate.
Why would anyone believe he won't pull the same stunt again? Even now, in CAMPAIGN mode, he speaks of "keeping the good parts blah, blah...?"
In DC, with the current crop of players, there is never a clean repeal. It's always compromises, that the PR spinsters then try to massage into a "win" for constituents of both parties. Therefore, you'll never get an "aha, Romney didn't repeal, I'm voting for Paul next time" moment. Instead, you'll get a bunch of half assed platitudes about how it would have been even worse "if the other guy won."
Just as with the bailouts. Despite the economy being in shambles, the well indoctrinated respond according to plan to the tripe about "It would be even worse without it." Just like "It would have been even worse in the thirties if governments hadn't doubled in size." never mind that exactly what could be worse than WW2 is never really stated.
So, to set up Rand, or someone further from Obama that Romney, for 2016, it's much better to vote for a third party that is closer to Rand, even if all we accomplish is having Romney lose to someone at least as bad as Romney. Those who nominate GOP candidates need to know that unless they nominate someone that meaningfully differs from Obama on some other issue than skin color, they will forever and ever thereafter, lose. While, if they nominate someone like Rand, they'll get a pile of very enthusiastic voters for free.
If he repeals Obamacare, namely the mandate, then we win.
Haha! "Read my lips, NO NEW TAXES!" - Broken campaign promise of GHWB
"I promise a humble foreign policy!" - Broken campaign promise of GWB
"I will end those wars and you can take that to the bank!" Broken campaign promise of BHO
"I will repeal ObamaCare!" - Soon to be broken campaign promise of WMR
History and reality are against your idea.
If he doesn't repeal Obamacare then that will open the eyes of almost every Republican voter ...
Really? You mean like how every Obama supporter is now wide eyed awake and against "the One" because all the wars are still going on plus Libya? Again, history and reality are against your idea.
Sorry, your idea has a 100% failure rate!
Only legislatures can do that.
I am one of the uninsured by choice people. I don't go to the doctor or ER unless I NEED to(broken bones etc). Most of my friends have insurance, they go to the ER for things like a sore throat and small cuts. They pay for insurance and dammit they're gonna use it.
Yet I'm the one seen as a burden on the system. Pisses me off.
I still must say, I want Romney to lose more than I want Obamacare repealed.
After what happened to Ron, I want revenge.
I not only want Romney to lose, I want it to be because of Ron Paul supporters voting for Johnson, Goode or even Obama in swing states.
The GOP can't be rewarded for their cheating and lying.
Also if Romney wins, we wont have another chance until 2020.
That is just painful.
