also, regarding the gun control issue, it's not the guns that are the problem, the problem is the culture of violence our society creates. think about it: for the last 50 years, our country has been in perpetual war, so our children have become desensitized to killing and grow up thinking all problems can be solved with violence. in places like switzerland, they are reluctant to get involved in war, and they have little gun control yet have one of the lowest rates of violent gun crime.

These media, commentators are frequently passing themselves off as non-biased objective observers. "Jesse your a little bit of a crackpot, but I'm mentally clear and astute"." You make the world colorful, I however bring it clarity and reasonableness" This guy is in denial of his posturing as an infallible. Such people are dangerous because they assume they are free of bias and see clearer than the rest of the populace. You and I (daily Paulers) who are open to considering data outside of whats dished out by the Governments and MSM are not immune to missing the mark and and we must guard ourselves from the presumption, and folly and arrogance of being know it alls for just this reason. Perhaps we at times feel a little bit better or a whole lot better informed, but we are by no means superior to those whose eyes are still shrouded by the propaganda machinery. Whenever you posture yourself as "in the know" you run the risk of sending the signal of superiority , and thus lose your audience who might benefit from the valid information that you do hold. I know because I have conducted myself this way, and you think people turn you off because "they are sheeple", but it usually because they sense your " intellectually superior" posture. Knowledge is sometimes a gift and often a reward for earnest pursuit of understanding, but it always comes to us from without, from what others have made known. Therefore be patient and yet also persistent as you seek to inform and enlighten others for their benefit, not for your own ego exaltation.

I disagree that we are better off. Obama has taken more liberties than any other president. And don't forget...our national debt is the biggest threat we face. Obama is the worst president in history...and people still like him?

and just happened upon the show last night by accident. She just loved what Jesse had to say and in an email, called Piers "an f-in liberal!" Her only criticism was Jesse's hair and attire. Her opinion is that for him to appeal to the masses and for his message to be taken seriously, he needs a real haircut and to dress more appropriately. I tend to agree with her...WE hear the message because we know it's ...well, Jesse! The ignorant masses, however, may view him with a jaundiced eye given his appearance. What do you all think?
