He's got a Ben Franklin haircut

Very vintage liberty, imo.
I'm over stuffed suits and most of America is too.
After having four years of Michelle Obama's flashy wardrobe, anything else will seem tame.

Yep LOL

Thankyou

Thankyou

Nice

.

Franklin didn't wear a wig

in a time when EVERY OTHER MALE over the age of 12 wore a powdered white wig, Franklin wore his own grizzled, snarled, weather-beaten natural hair as long as it would grow, attracting stares from EVERY SINGLE PERSON he passed on the street.

So yeah, the comparison is fair.

Does Piers Morgan have any

Does Piers Morgan have any relation to JP? What a shill and liar!

BBC

"BBC is respectable" - piers morgan ,

nuff said , freakin brit needs to go somewhere

also in his anti-gun rant, he only talks about gun violence stats from other countries and not knife violence as a comparison for good measure.

"He's this eccentric Ghandi-Like figure that you cant touch with the normal bribes that people respond to."
the man Doug Wead on DR. RON PAUL

Campuses and arming oneself

There has been a rash of violence against students in Atlanta. The schools wont say arm yourselves for fear of insurance costs rising. We are barely more than revenue to them...collateral damage if murdered by some thief.

Twemty years ago, I was a resident director and routinely sponsored gun safety training programs for my halls' students.... only one violent incident during my four years there.

They also never mention crime prevention!

They also never mention crime prevention! There are probably thousands, if not millions, of crimes prevented by the potential victim being armed and defending himself or herself. Of course, that never gets reported because, well, no crime was committed!

Freedom is my Worship Word!

Set up the campaign fund now

Since he's an independent and doesn't need to go through the primary and delegate process, we can campaign now, 4 years in advance.

I've always liked Jesse's candid and straightforward approach and we need to break up the club in 2016...if there's anything left.

We may have to push back against things like martial law and make sure the 2016 election happens.

He's got my financial support.

U Betcha!

Douche Alert!!!

I'm sorry he's really starting to sound like an idiot. He's obviously pandering to P. Morgan here as he pushes his book. First off, who cares how much a company spends on lobbyists versus taxes - that's their business. If I was him I would have went into the fact that the USA has the highest corporate tax rate since Japan recently lowered theirs.

While I agree with Jesse on many issues, he was really pandering.

Additionally, this whole economic mess has been going on for years...many decades.

You're an imbecile. Just because someone is more enthusiastic about something than you or has a slightly different opinion does NOT mean they are pandering, a shill, or part of the establishment.

I am so SICK of you people claiming to support liberty but being COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY INTOLERANT of any views that conflict yours, even if in EXTREMELY MINOR ways.

WOW he is my new hero!!

WOW he is my new hero!!

I'm starting to see allot of new heros

It's funny how the squashing of freedoms bring out these people. I expect in the next 4 years we're going to start seeing allot more of these good people. It just took a man like Ron Paul to set the bar on the type of leadership we NEED back to restore our country.

His Books

Are dirt cheap on Amazon right now. I just got the kindle editions for $3 a piece. Not exactly sure why they are so cheap, but hey...good buy.

Thanks

for the heads up.

Yeah! I just bought his new

Yeah! I just bought his new book in hard cover for less than $5. Buy! Buy! Buy! Let's send Ventura a little rEVOLution love!

Summer of Love?

Jesse, says there's no voter fraud? Even says there as much voter fraud as there is people getting hit by lightning. I think he's mistaken here. I'm totally in favor of paper ballots and out with the strict no paper no log voting machines. This would help in getting rid of fraud.

I think we suffer greatly because of first perceptions. WE have to realize people are influenced by appearance and so why not make one a bit more presentable. Jesse comes to this interview and is the worst dressed person in the room. I know, I know, words are most important but peoples minds get distracted easily. So, why not take a bit of effort and be more presentable, respectable and credible in appearance to get the foot in the mind's door.

Jimi Hendrix is a turn off when we're talking government and so why present a world view without even opening ones mouth? Presenting a solution of what the world needs now is love sweet love and promoting the "Summer of Love" puts Jesse in the 60's love crowd of anti-authority and anti-law. Many of the problems we have now are because the people of the 60s are in high influential and power positions.

The world does need a bit of love, but define it then. I can agree but not in the love of the 60s, what a loser and a confuser.

The night is far spent, the day is at hand.
And those who have not heard shall understand.

There is a difference between

There is a difference between voter fraud and election fraud.

I agree with him

Voter fraud is rare

Election fraud, however, is rampant

I disagree with Jesse on a

I disagree with Jesse on a few things still, but overall I gotta say I could whole-heartedly support him. He's one of the few guys willing to talk about the big elephant in the room. Piers was trying to call him crazy, and then it turns out that most people in the audience thought Jesse was right (or at least making good points that Piers called ridiculous).

It was hard to watch Piers. What an idiot.

It's not too late for Dr. Paul, Ventura, Johnson, and Kucinich to get together and form a stop the insanity party. They would have overwhelming support.

@rpjazzer: I acutally

@rpjazzer: I acutally proposed a long time ago, an idea that would involve Dennis Kucinich, Ron Paul, Rand Paul, Gary Johnson, Jesse Ventura and Mike Gravel.

I proposed that Gravel and Kucinich would primary Obama in the Democratic primaries, Ron, Rand and Johnson would compete in the GOP primaries and Ventura would run as an independent.

Ventura would start his campaign right away. Meanwhile, the other 5 candidates would spread the freedom message to the masses. Eventually, the thing here was to wait until there was 1 candidate left.

It is a good idea!

It is a good idea!

Draft Jesse for 2016? Worth

Draft Jesse for 2016? Worth considering in my book.

watching at the 10-minute mark

Jesse made his case and Piers fell into the trap. If you start watching at the 10-minute mark, when Jesse points out the fact that we have multiple military bases in so many countries....and Piers' "logic" is...it is that way so that we can prevent more potential wars. He simply confirmed the "United States being the policemen of the world" argument.
All the billions that get poured into these bases play a large role in keeping this country BROKE......not to mention the fact that some of our armed-forces are ill-equipped and poorly-housed because the bulk of the money went into the pockets of businessmen with deeeeeep pockets who have NOTHING to do with defending this country! So, while we as Americans put our fist in the air for our troups and go "Yeahhhhh" like we would for our football teams, we turn a blind eye when it comes to making sure that our military money is properly spent. F8CKING saaad!!! But good on Jesse for setting the trap.

Jesse, I appreciate overall

Jesse, I appreciate overall your stand against government. However, the problems this country has started long before Bush/Cheney came to office. Penn Central Railroad was bailed out in 1970, one of many bailouts which took place before Dick and George. It is ignorant and unresearched statements like this which make Ron Paul look much better than Jesse Ventura in my eyes.

Perhaps researching the link below would serve Jesse next time he debates.

http://www.propublica.org/special/government-bailouts

He would also do well to read ANY Austrian economist on unions.

Jesse is a FANTASTIC debator.

His answer on the gun question was very good.

"Which roll of the dice would you want to take?"

Well asked.

Morgan lost again on that one.

"We have allowed our nation to be over-taxed, over-regulated, and overrun by bureaucrats. The founders would be ashamed of us for what we are putting up with."
