Ventura 2016: How To Make it Happen

Watch the Video - Jesse says he needs three things to consider running in 2016:

1. Ballot access in all 50-States
2. The ability to NOT raise funds
3. Inclusion into the Debates

I think we can help do this by doing the following:

1. Collect all the rules regarding Independent ballot access in all 50 states for 2016 and start planning how to make this happen.

2. Form a SuperPac to run Money Bombs directed at a Ventura campaign (it could be something like "The Independent America PAC"), and train people how to run a grassroots campaign (we are the best in the business).

3. VOTE THIRD PARTY in 2012. If we can get the TOTAL third-party votes over 15% then we can show that a strong "third-candidate" can get into the debates.

What you all think? I think we should have Ventura on the ballot incase the GOP and DNC block insurgent candidates again. I think the Liberty Caucus can take over the GOP, but that still doesn't mean we will win in 2016.

Let's get Jesse to run!

Well at least he's not a lawyer...

If disenchantment turns to anger and then anger turns to rage by 2016, and if people are so fed up, he does have a very real chance.

During his tenure at Governor, he did an above average job in Minnesota. That makes him more qualified than any community organizer or someone who knows little about real business, but knows how to play monopoly really well.

He's had a colorful past but that shouldn't matter when comparing him to others who are just smooth criminals.

For someone like Jesse to win, there would have to be a severe crack in the foundation in every American's life, like mandatory RFID implant chips, or everybody's 401k failing, that will wake people up.

Forget Democracy

If the Ron Paul revolution has taught you anything, it has taught you that democracy is for savages. You want Ron Paul as President, then make him your President, YOU DON'T NEED TO VOTE, just live life free. It's is time to secede and defend, look at the wonderful work the free state project is doing.

Indeed

Jesse could give a shit about being PC..That's what I like about him..Get him in the debates and you will see what Ron started being took to the limits. Jesse has become very articulate now when he is interviewed and can get a lot of of his mouth in very little time. He is also getting better at throwing out brilliant examples that the average person can understand. When I see 99% of the audience side with Jesse during an interview and to boot Jesse was talking about some taboo subjects that is saying something. The people are waking up and their minds are ripe sponges for some fresh theories. Not the same ole dry talking points that the cookie cutter suits are spewing. Get Jesse to run!!

"I have found that being rich is not about having the most but about needing the least"

Not "The Body"

We would be the laughing stock of politics and everything we've so far achieved would be undone, he's a JOKE.

For Liberty!

Who is this "we" you speak of?

I like how Doug Weed approached this. No one decides what "we" do, there is no unitized "we." I don't like how Jack Hunter approached this. He said those talking about Bilderberg were making "us" look bad.

Freedom and Liberty mean Freedom and Liberty.

I agree, being afraid to

I agree, being afraid to speak truth to power and being afraid of touching unapproved topics has held the movement back. I could care less what weak necked, whiney voiced boot lickers think 'we' or I should do.

Let me clarify

I was a local coordinator for Ron Paul, I don't have any national influence or strings I'm trying to pull. I'm simply stating my opinion of someone else's idea. I disagree that steering clear of conspiracy theories has held the movement back, but if you want to go that road and put the king of conspiracy theories up as your leader, be my guest. I won't be going with you, and name calling isn't likely to garner sympathy for your cause, but I could be wrong.

For Liberty!

Using adjectives to describe

Using adjectives to describe a mindset is different than name calling. I called no one a name. I used language that accurately describes some people though. Adjectives that create a contrast with how Ventura operates.

Bingo

Brother!!

"I have found that being rich is not about having the most but about needing the least"

I like him, but

I don't find him as presidential material.

I have tons of respect for

I have tons of respect for Jesse. But I would have to know where he stands on free-markets before I can fully support him. Also, he said in an interview that he wants to abolish the electoral college.

Brad

Jesse is a big government

Jesse is a big government independent.

He vocally calls believers in Jesus stupid and unintelligent.

He is clueless about economics.

His support of personal liberty is good, but he is not really a Liberty candidate and there is no way I would support him for president. Far too many flaws and way too many reckless comments to ever be a serious contender.

Ron Paul 2012 - It's Almost Here!

Jesse

Is for Freedom, our Republic, ending the wars, transparency in government, allowing third parties a place in the elections, exposing the crony capitalism and corporate collusion in every aspect of our system, adhering to the oath that is taken, and supports a new investigation into 911..He can call believers in Jesus all he wants as long as he never tries to force his beliefs on someone else. He has my vote if he runs..

"I have found that being rich is not about having the most but about needing the least"

I read the Bible,

and the Tao teh Ching, and the Koran, and the Art of War and the Lord of the Rings (I watch Star Wars too); I'd like to see Jesse be less agressive with religion, but from my experience,

you just might find,
you get what you need."

sources

Up and down this page. Listen to any of his extended interviews with Alex Jones. He praises FDR, free health care, and others have sourced the draft.

Dr. Paul exposes the exact same virtues of many of our founders. He understands economics AND politics. Supporting an investigation IS NOT the only thing Jesse said. He has said FAR MORE and you're ridiculous if you don't think the media with show him as an outright conspiracy theorist.

IN FACT the conspiracy theorist in me believes that's exactly why he has a show titled as such. You honestly believe someone who is so easily shown to be a nut -- notice no one said he is a nut. Nuff said. You're dillusional if you think he has a chance, and you really need to pick-up your own knowledge on a person before supporting them.

Truth be told;

I have a much different approach to politics and government than you. Not a judgement, just that I really don't care if Jesse has talked well about FDR. A lot of people like FDR for some reason or another. I have some nice things to say about Bush (he was goofy), Obama (he had a cool drawing of a train system), and Clinton (he played the Sax on Arsenio Hall!); yet my approach to government isn't at all like theirs.

I have a hard time demonizing any individual. Part of it is my Christain education, part of it is my observations of society and how judging works when I do it (yup, I try not to judge, yet sometimes I notice I judge, and I see how it makes things worse, but I don't beat myself up over it, I observe and learn).

The type of "free health-care" Ventura would support would be similar to the efforts of Dennis Kucinich and the Green Party, which is incredibly different than Romney/ObamaCare. FAR different. Here is an article I wrote referencing Paul and Kucinich on what a "hybrid" health-care system would look like: http://freeindependentsun.com/republic/progressive-health-ca...

And I personally don't look at the direction of government being "pure" in one direction or another. I actually see Government naturally playing a smaller role in life as the "true independence movement" grows (I'm talking growing our own food, taking care of our own health, utilizing automated technologies, replicant/3D-Printing technology, social skills, and generally letting go of control and ego and the desire to be "right" or "smart".)

As far as the Conspiracy Theory stuff, I don't mind it so much. I see your point, but I don't actually think it'll hurt him as much, because he always seems to respound to it directly and most interviewers, once they see Jesse is just going to continue to ask questions that I don't doubt most Americans would at least agree deserve to be asked, quickly go to another line of questioning. Pierce did it too, he made a snarky remark and went to the next question.

They'll stop playing that game when Jesse continues to make references to The Secret Team.

They had that book banned. They obviously don't want people reading it. I know why, because half way through the book he makes so much sense that you have to question whether or not the book itself is misinformation before you read on. If you don't know what I mean you haven't read the book.

With all that said, fair enough. Thanks for the comment! My intention in this post was to make sure anyone who wanted to work on this had a very clear and direct process to do so.

That is what I do. I did it for Ron Paul activist, I currently do it for Green Party activist and non-partisan issue campaigns, and I wanted to do it for Ventura 2016. You can read my synopsis of "game plans" for the various "factions" of the "Liberty, Peace and Freedom Movement," as I like to call it.

Or in Ron Paul's words, "Friends of Freedom."

http://freeindependentsun.com/natural_law/friends-of-freedom...

“Friends of freedom must quickly assemble and plan strategy. Everyone has a vital interest in the outcome. Broad agreements are crucial; arguing minute details of solutions to difficult problems can undermine the movement and become purely negative. Perfection by man in the struggle for freedom is not achievable. Denial of personality differences and legitimate differences of opinion are a mistake. Refusing to agree on generalized and precise principles guarantees failure.” - Dr. Paul

Excellent approach

to life..I like the way you think..Very balanced and conscientious. Bravo!!

"I have found that being rich is not about having the most but about needing the least"

I'd back Jesse!!

Same as Ron Paul, and I dedicated A LOT of time and money to RP. Also, I'd back him in a second before Rand and his new establishment buddies.

This idea is also cool because it shows the disconnect between us, the grassroots (We Are The Revolution) and the non-transitional support Jesse Benton/Rand Paul EXPECT to have in there pocket! This would throw the GOP a curve ball that you could never imagine!

Toss him in the ring..

Best to just throw Jesse back into the WWF ring than the political ring. There are others who would be infinitesimally better.

The night is far spent, the day is at hand.
And those who have not heard shall understand.

Those rings actually sound about equal.

At least the government's kayfabe is better. Hell, it's so good, few people over the age of 12 question it, unlike wrestling which just about every adult knows is fake.

correction maybe

I think he meant the ability to run whether they raised the money or not. In other words if we get the word out and get him the votes then there is no need to raise the money and blow it on advertising.

Jesse has recognition and has executive experience, I think he is our next best Ron Paul.

Exactly!

You are correct sir. I didn't go into that like I should have.

Yes, we make this about empowering people to be effectivelly active so the money isn't needed.

Thanks for pointing that out!

Jack Wagner

I'll give him the same level of support he gave ron paul

Too little too late

me too

I will also support Jesse as much as I supported Ron Paul. I bet if we fight for him he will put up a good fight for us and not take as much crap either.

I like Jesse but....

I've just seen too much from him that makes me think he isn't a free market capitalist. It is easy to be anti-government in our current situation, so when Jesse complains about our government lying to us and all that, it makes him popular, but when you hear the other things he says about the solutions, it looks more and more like he isn't a libertarian. He's just like everyone else, he hates the government, but his solution is more government (reinstituting the draft, and national healhcare).

Free market capitalism isn't right for America because it works better. It's right because it's free (and it works better).

In that interview, jesse was fantastic. The only thing...

...I would change about Jesse's approach has to do with religion strangely enough.

To me, religion is not an issue at all in American politics (or shouldn't be), UNLESS A CANDIDATE MAKES IT ONE.

Jesse's answer on religion is that he is an Atheist (which is someone who believes there IS no God).

But I think a better philosophy (if you're running for elected office anyway) is to claim you're an Agnostic (who simply claims they don't KNOW if or not God exists).

Since an Atheist doesn't know anymore that God doesn't exist than a believer knows that God DOES exist, it's a matter of faith and opinion either way.

So I just think an Agnostic philosophy would not tend to scare away voters who can't get past the Athiestic idea.

"We have allowed our nation to be over-taxed, over-regulated, and overrun by bureaucrats. The founders would be ashamed of us for what we are putting up with."
-Ron Paul

Actually, agnostics?

Do believe in a god or gods, but choose to not participate in religion.
I do not believe anyone should have to change his stance on god, or not, because of politics. Like you said, the two should be completely separate. And, if Jesse were to run and win, he would not be the first atheist-president, in the USA.

I would never suggest anyone "fudge" his atheism for a political seat, as fudging is the same as lying, just a cuter name for same deal. Why would you go there?

We had SOME proof, but RNC does not care about Rules n Laws- they just break and then change 'em to suit whomever (not PAUL).

JUST TO SET THE RECORD STRAIGHT

Agnostic means you don't know.
A at the beginning of the word is a negation. gnostic comes from greek meaning knowledge. in other words agnostic means you don't know because you're claiming NO KNOWLEDGE/KNOWING

AThiest means Not Thiestic. NO GOD Belief in NO GOD

I agree with the other posters here. Jesse should change his tune. AGNOSTIC not Athiest. Its much more humble and better received.
