Ventura 2016: How To Make it Happen

Watch the Video - Jesse says he needs three things to consider running in 2016:

1. Ballot access in all 50-States
2. The ability to NOT raise funds
3. Inclusion into the Debates

I think we can help do this by doing the following:

1. Collect all the rules regarding Independent ballot access in all 50 states for 2016 and start planning how to make this happen.

2. Form a SuperPac to run Money Bombs directed at a Ventura campaign (it could be something like "The Independent America PAC"), and train people how to run a grassroots campaign (we are the best in the business).

3. VOTE THIRD PARTY in 2012. If we can get the TOTAL third-party votes over 15% then we can show that a strong "third-candidate" can get into the debates.

What you all think? I think we should have Ventura on the ballot incase the GOP and DNC block insurgent candidates again. I think the Liberty Caucus can take over the GOP, but that still doesn't mean we will win in 2016.

Let's get Jesse to run!

Wow, the DailyPaul has definitely shifted...

What am I hearing?

1) Jesse Ventura "can't win" so we shouldn't support him. This is after 5 years of fighting for a man that the general public said "couldn't win."

2) Jesse Ventura is a "kook." This is after 5 years of supporting a guy who was labelled "grumpy", "kooky", "nutjob".

A bit hypocritical if you ask me...

I thought about this yesterday..

-a former pro-wrestler for pres? Well, we did have an actor (Reagan), and look at how that turned out.. (nevermind).

I think the main point was; where was Ventura when Ron Paul was running? As someone else said; too little, too late.

We had SOME proof, but RNC does not care about Rules n Laws- they just break and then change 'em to suit whomever (not PAUL).

Right! Someone actually said

Right! Someone actually said to me that because he is a truther he will lose. I say...let's try! Why not put the issues on the table. What if we never tried with RP?

RP isn't a truther! He's been asked! ANd you know why he even got as far as he did???? Because even if he thinks that, he would never say it. I can't believe YOU can't believe that's a problem.

You must be kidding that you think a truther will gain more than 1% of the vote. If not, step outside of your home and find out that won't happen. Or, like I said, watch the View interview for a taste of what the other 99% think of that.

You're wasting your breathe. No one said they didn't like what Jesse said.

And you ignored the facts he does not understand economics. Makes me think you don't know enough about him, or you yourself are on the wrong site. RP wouldn't encouraging free health care and education for all. He (and we) actually get it. Jesse, while great at marketing, leading, and at personal freedoms, doesn't believe in economic freedom. Can't separate the 2 unfortunately.

Economics, Health-Care, Education: Ventura vs. Paul

"I don't believe we need the government's help as much as some think we do. That belief sets me apart from the Democrats, since their way of dealing with everything is to tax and spend." - Ventura

"Remember that government doesn't earn one single dollar it spends. In order for you to get money from the government, that money must first be taken from somebody else." - Ventura

"Students often approached me about state-paid tuition while I was out campaigning. After I explained to them that if the state pays their tuition now, they will pay higher taxes to pay other people's tuition for the rest of their lives, most of them ended up agreeing with me." Ventura

"The Constitution guarantees us our rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. That's all. It doesn't guarantee our rights to charity." - Ventura

Sounds legit. Even Paul's budget didn't get rid of Health-Care and Retirement. In four years Ron Paul would not have gotten rid of Medicare nor Social Security. In fact he did very little to cut them beside offer a "opt-out."

"Government's role should be only to keep the playing field level, and to work hand in hand with business on issues such as employment. But beyond this, to as great an extent as possible, it should get the hell out of the way." - Ventura

Jack Wagner

FYI...people said the same

FYI...people said the same thing with Dr. Paul about auditing and ending the fed. Why would we not demand a legit investigation for 9/11?

Wait...doesn't believe n

Wait...doesn't believe n economic freedom? List your source.

How about Ron Paul 2016.

How about Ron Paul 2016.

I will say this about Ron Paul in 2016.

With the increase in numbers between 08 and 12, he would be better positioned than any other candidate in the running.

Furthermore, if we continue to position Liberty minded folks in local/state, RP would be more effective in 2016 than he would be now.

Finally, in light of the new rules that go into effect 2016, it wouldn't matter what party ticket RP ran on. He has his base, and his base continues to grow.

"What if the American people learn the truth" - Ron Paul

After 08 and 12, would you

After 08 and 12, would you really trust the team he surrounds himself with in 16. What makes you think the team/approach/grassroots exclusion would be any different. Don't get me wrong, my first born will be named Ron Paul ..., but I have come to the place where I think dr Paul only ever wanted to be a messenger.

I understand.

If RP ran again, it would certainly be without the 2012 campaign staff. If RP ran again, he would have my support.

If he does not, then we must utilize everything that we have learned toward the next liberty candidate. We cannot disperse. Either way, 2016 will be even more difficult than 2012.

"What if the American people learn the truth" - Ron Paul

After what Romney did to

After what Romney did to change the RNC rules, it will be nearly impossible to win within the GOP as a liberty movement. Which leaves us three options:
1. Run Rand as a wolf in sheep's GOP clothing. He gets the establishment to think he's one of them, that he IS them. Then he gets in to office and pulls a JFK switch-a-roo on them.
2. Run a third party Johnson-type and hope he gains enough traction.
3. Run Dr. Paul or his disciple as an independent.

Let's be honest, Americans are done with the party system. They have absolutely no faith in it. 40% of registered voters are Independents. Since we can't get a fair shake in the duopoly, and the libertarian party is too scary for the masses to join, I think going the Independent route is our best option for winning the Presidency in 2016.

If you think Government run healthcare is a human right:

Or the draft should be reinstated:

Jesse is your man.

Union busting?

I've never been in favor of this guy. Jesse seems to not understand the union and budget issues in Wisconsin at 33:54. He seemed to skirt the question while blasting any who would be against the unions.

Thanks for posting this and showing others the true Jesse.

The night is far spent, the day is at hand.
And those who have not heard shall understand.

thanks for showing me this...

I was behind this guy... but NO WAY AFTER SEEING THIS. He basically is an anti-war democrat. This movement won me over first because of the fiscal issue then later became anti-war. This is how the elite will co-opt us and that is why they will allow him on MSM because he will split the vote up nicely.

I thought the revolution

was about taking over the republican party with liberty candidates. Not independents. We need to stay focused.

Ron Paul

said party is irrelevant. He said become the tent. He did NOT say become the GOP. The tent does not have to have a GOP logo on it. The GOP was just a vehicle to get his message heard by a wider audience. Think. Independants are 40% of registered voters, Republicans are 27%.

Didn't the RNC basically make

Didn't the RNC basically make it impossible for us to win next election by all the rule changes? So perhaps an independent might be the answer.

What the RNC did

Was show the GOP that they are being used and so now there is blowback happening within the GOP. My committee chair apologised to me and the other Ron paul supporter. We didn't say anything, he brought it up, he's very concerned that the RNC

1. dropped 10 Maine delegates and installed their own
2. Refused to say "Ron Paul" during the votes
3. Paid a tribute to Ron Paul and then refused to allow him to speak
4. Forced Romney on us.

So there is blowback in the GOP that has reversed course and welcomed Ron Paul committee members because they happen to really like the idea that we can hold ourselves to the Constitution and restore America.

It's a wonderful thing, and I'm very happy to have an inside seat and to be witnessing the change first hand.

That can be debated.

They are sucking up for November. They want...I mean need our votes.

"What if the American people learn the truth" - Ron Paul

I don't see any sucking up

I see respected community leaders who are NOT happy with the shenanigans they witnessed at the RNC. I see FEAR, as they understand what happened to Maine can happen to them, and they don't want that to happen to them. They also don't want Obama. so the idea that we can passionately fight Romney from inside is far more appealing that being subjected to Obama and his committee seats anoth 4 years.

I think they know they may

I think they know they may lose without our support.

I'm pretty sure they know they've been had

And they don't like it, so finally, we are not alone.

I agree, but focused on what?

Some are making headway within the republican party. But others are being forcibly kicked out. Rules go into effect 2016, which could potentially set us back until 2020 or beyond.

r3VOLution made great strides since 2008. But it also seems to be fracturing now that gop is on to us.

Suggestions are welcome for those who are being ejected from their seats/potitions.

"What if the American people learn the truth" - Ron Paul

another waste of time

1) He's a known truther. He's DONE. And so is any movement he backs.
2) His economics as others have stated are way off. He is brilliant at discussing ideas. When he starts going further into those ideas you'll hear examples of the applicatoin of those ideas that is 100% wrong.

I like him, and could even

I like him, and could even vote for him, but the trutherism is, as you point out, a major, major drawback.

I don't think he will run anyway. Several years ago, I met a very close aide from his Minnesota governor days who told me that Ventura is in constant and debilitating pain because of old wrestling injuries. He stated flatly that he would never run for prez because of this. I found this guy to be very credible.

What's wrong with being a

What's wrong with being a truther? He could bring some very good issues to debate...and he would wipe the floor with them!

what's wrong with being a truther

Watch him on The View and pay close attention to every woman's body reactions to him. In addition to the obvious, he will get 0.01% of the woman vote, which is critical.

He will get destroyed by the media, and then ignored as a fool. He will be Ron Paul's newsletters to the power of 10,000. He'll destroy credibility for independents and cement the 2 party nominees as the only choices.

How on Earth can we guarantee

How on Earth can we guarantee him in the debates? Those debates wouldn't even happen until just before the election as he won't be able to get in the democratic or republican debates during the primaries...

If you disagree with me on anything you are not a real libertarian...

Multiple candidates

I think it would be great, almost a necessity to get several liberty candidates to run, gain media attention and get into televised debates. Rather than have something like Dr. Paul alone on stage, I imagine a scenario where Rand, Jesse , Gary , Judge Nap etc...are on stage debating amoungst the other idiots. And if we are really lucky, then people like Ben Swann and Neil Cavuto are doing the moderating. The revolution should be working harder than everyone did for Ron Paul 2012. TPTB are banking on us going away and also infiltrating us with fake liberty candidates.
