AfricanAmericansForRonPaul.com ???

I'm in no way capable of creating a website, but maybe someone can get one going to show that there is African American and minority support for Dr. Paul. People can post reasons why they support him and help put a stop to the racist rumors, as well as help spread the support for minority people in America in general.

I know the Libertarian way is to see people as individuals and not in groups, but this could be a great way to show that we have more support from a wide variety of people than the public thinks.

Any thoughts?

If something like this already exists... can someone post the website?

NAACP President: Ron Paul Is Not A Racist

This does not relate to the website, but this is important.

It would be great...

...if someone could follow up with your suggestion, cfugs81.

Ron Paul Would End the Government's Most Racist Policy

Great Idea..

How About a Flyer we can Dowload??

Lets See a Flyer..

Funny some troll is calling you a troll for posting this. I think we are getting a lot smarter about identifying the psy op people and it is frustrating them.

Anyway this is a great Idea. Lets get a flyer we can download, escpecially with the NAACP presidnents quotes as well.

Lets get it ready for Free At Last.

The campaign wanted our input

Maybe we should suggest that THEY put together the flyer, etc. If Dr. Paul personally rallied the support of minorities that know he is no racist, a flyer & website could be a powerful tool.

Kinda like his endorsements on the RP2008 webpage.

Clifton David, a very bright guy, has started an internet talkshow at www.blacksforronpaul.com (its a redirect but that gets you there). His show looks very new and doesn't appear to have much traffic yet, but it is a place to start and he's as good a spokesman as any I've heard. I listened to his show, and he makes a lot of excellent points and makes them very clearly. I wish we could help to build up his site.

Thank you.

Thanks to you and to everyone for ignoring the person calling me a troll. I hope we can get someone to help this person get his site built up. These are definitely the things we need to be focusing our energy toward if we want to make any progress.

I agree

This racism stuff should be ignored. After all, Hillary and Obama are not required to give answers on why they belong to separatist churches or hire LaRAZAs to work in their campaigns are they??? Double standard here. PUT THIS STUFF ON IGNORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I respectfully disagree

The racism stuff is not going away at all. It is now one of the first comments I've heard out of people's mouths this week when I've mentioned Dr. Paul. My teen-age kid got into a heated discussion with a teacher at school who said that RP is a racist.

I think we need to be proactive. Look at what happened to Kerry when he tried to ignore the swift boat stuff.

good idea

I think such site would help to dispel the racism allegations.

This guy is a troll - stating somethng that is inflammatory in a supposed objective way as if it is casual and then declaring it needs to be settled - baloney - Troll! Its been settled for years. FLAG this post and ban the poster.

Here is what Ron Paul himself said long ago:

Racism is simply an ugly form of collectivism, the mindset that views humans strictly as members of groups rather than as individuals. Racists believe that all individuals who share superficial physical characteristics are alike: as collectivists, racists think only in terms of groups. By encouraging Americans to adopt a group mentality, the advocates of so-called "diversity" actually perpetuate racism.

The true antidote to racism is liberty. Liberty means having a limited, constitutional government devoted to the protection of individual rights rather than group claims. Liberty means free-market capitalism, which rewards individual achievement and competence - not skin color, gender, or ethnicity.

In a free society, every citizen gains a sense of himself as an individual, rather than developing a group or victim mentality. This leads to a sense of individual responsibility and personal pride, making skin color irrelevant. Racism will endure until we stop thinking in terms of groups and begin thinking in terms of individual liberty.

please, show some manners

Why do you call a troll someone who has been on DP longer than you?

Whether we like it or not, racism smears are currently Ron's weakest point and any help in that department should be very welcome.

13 weeks and 6 days

Troll?? A member for 13 weeks and 6 days a troll? I doubt it. Misguided (in your opinion) maybe, but a troll? No. As for this post, it speaks of rumors of racism, not facts and that is 100% accurate. There ARE rumors, they DO exist. We know from the rest of Ron's writings and speeches that they are not facts. We even know from the NY times itself that the writing style in the newsletters does not match Ron's and they agreed in an article they wrote on him early in the primary that he did not write the offending passages. However, we cannot quell the rumors by sticking our collective heads in the sand. And remember this Mayberry, when your head is in the sand, your a$$ is a target.

You know absolutely nothing about me and you should keep your mouth shut... Who are you? Stop calling people trolls. You've done this before and you have no idea what you're talking about. Your ignorant and you'll probably keep going on that way. Why even reply unless you want to bring attention to yourself and this issue!!!

There are many websites including...

What's the difference?.... we're all put into groups. What's it matter if it's race or religion or whatever?

Why are you screaming troll...

please stop that. I think it's a great idea. I absolutely love the black lady in the beginning of A New Hope on youtube. She talks about how Ron Paul brings together people of all races, socioeconomic backgrounds, etc. Why not AfricanAmericansforRonPaul or similar titled website?
