Ron Paul Supporter at Mitt Romney Rally

Hubby was watching C-span with Mitt Romney Rally and a lone Ron Paul supporter was there with a sign. Mitt recognized him and said, "There's a guy here with a Ron Paul sign." People were booing and Romney said, "No, no, that's ok. He's welcomed here." They all shut up. He then says (paraphrased), "Ron Paul is a doctor. If you need a doctor, he's the one you need to see. But if you want someone that understands the economy and bringing jobs back, you need me."
That was one brave soul there amoungst the enemy!

Last I checked just cause your a doctor does not make you an idiot. You don't study specifically to be president anywhere. Mitt Romney is the Republicans worst candidate.

That sounds like something the other candidates would pull. Sure glad we're all on a team that plays fair. We have the moral high-ground, and the most pristine message of all. They HAVE to resort to such tactics.
All said, that was funny and brave if it was real.

Is this guy any different than a troll in this forum? We wouldn't like a Romney supporter here making all kinds of posts about Romney here at the Daily Paul?
I think Ron Paul signs out in the public square is one thing but to infiltrate a rally for another candidate is kind of rude and really doesn't do much for our cause.
With Romney's great reaction, it just made Romney look better.

Here is the difference. That Ron Paul supporter was NOT pretending to be something he wasn't. The trolls here are pretending to be supporters to divide and stir up trouble.
I have no problem with supporters of any candidate coming here or meetups or whatever to openly discuss issues, that is what it is all about. I have a serious issue with people lying about who they are to subvert a group.
As an example, I am a member of a Romney forum. They tolerate me, and do not ban me, nor do they spew hate toward me, ever. Why? Because I am open about who I am. They know I am an RP supporter and they are cool with it, and occasionally it is beneficial because I get some inside info from them, and I can feed them info from us when appropriate. I don't try to convert, nor do I pretend to be a Romney supporter.
