It seems as though the Ron Paul Support has died out here. Ron maybe losing ground in Fla I think some of that money needs to go down here for tv commercials cause I have yet to see one but have seen a whole lot of Rudy commercials. I know we had a blimp down here a few weeks back but we need more. I thought a just a few weeks ago that Paul would do well here. Lets hope things turn around.

Check out this movie called "The Secret". I think it might help you with your positive/negative reinforcement issue. Remember that principle is 100%. If you think negatively no matter how subtle only serves as poison for your cause.

What are they doing

In the campaign. I don't see any videos or print on what is going on in Nevada. There are no tv ads coming out of Chicago. Illinois starts there early voting tomarrow. Does the campaign no what is going on??????????

Campaign strategy

RP's campaign staff needs to start thinking about how to better spend the millions of campaign dollars stached.

The masses just arent seeing enough of DR Paul and his message on TV.

They need to BOMBARD the MSM with well produced, informative commercials (maybe 15-30 minute info-mercials?) showing the flawed and 'business as usual, only worse' policy agenda of all the rest of the CFA, NAU lapdogs on the repub roster, and the inarguable nation saving constitutional policies of RP that shows them for the schisters they are!

We need to flood ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, HNN, MSNBC (heck with fox news and their kool-aid conservative NAU globalist lapdogs) with these well made commercials. Its unfortunate, but most people in this country still get their news from these propaganda machines>
There are still a LOT of people that havent heard RP's message, or have even heard of HIM!

We cant just sit back and hope that the internet is going to get his message out to the masses. Yes, lots of people have 'puters and the internet, but how many actually get their news there?

I realize the RP campaign managers are probably saving $$ for the RNC, but we have to GET there first!!
We can raise more money! Look what we've done so far!! We'll get the money, I know of some fat cats myself that are willing to dump money into his campaign as soon as he need it, and I cant be alone!

Get his word out,and ATTACK, ATTACK, ATTACK!!!!!!!!!!!

tv

I was just saying it would be nice to see some tv spots. I know Ron has support here but i am getting nervous that the undecided voters are starting to wonder if Ron is still viable.I think its up for grabs here so lets get it going!

everyone agrees that commercials would be nice, but

we are the campaign. I noticed some posters below complaining about HQ. This does no good, just get out there and get to as many voters as you can before it's too late.

If "we are the campaign..."

...then why did we just contribute $20 million dollars? For nothing? I expected my money to be used wisely, in a professional manner to get votes! Not to pay for someone's vacation or retirement plan.

yep...I'm mad as hell

how my money is being spent by those incompetents....and at the moment in history we are so desperate for someone like Dr. Paul....

financial markets in Asia nervous already today, gold at $903, US dollar index sharply down. Everything he talks about is happening in front of our eyes and NHQ is run by fools.

Delegate Allocation by county?

I read something a few weeks ago suggesting FL delegates may be apportioned to winning candidates by county vs. "all or nothing" state-wide. It was an article describing California is doing this for the 1st time and so was a few other states, Florida included. That could help us here because Rudy has so much support predominantly in the southeast portion of the state. Has anyone heard something confirming this?
----------------------------------------------------------------
I searched and found the URL shown below which suggests that unless the sanctions against FL for the early primary are lifted all 57 delegates will be allocated to the state-wide primary winner and not to winners of the 8 individual congressional districts. Well that tears it unless the sanctions are lifted by convention time. Maybe we could ask all the retired new yorkers to secede from the rest of Florida.
----------------------------------------------------------------
http://www.thegreenpapers.com/P08/FL-R.phtml
CS/HB 537, signed by Florida Governor Governor Charlie Crist (Republican) on 21 May 2007, moves the Florida 2008 Presidential Primary from the second Tuesday in March (11 March 2008) to the last Tuesday in January (Tuesday 29 January 2008). Both the DNC and RNC have indicated that Florida will be sanctioned should they hold their primary before 5 February 2008.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

On 8 November 2007, the RNC made a determination that Florida's Tuesday 29 January 2008 caucuses violate Republican Party Rule Number 16. The rule states that the process of selecting National Convention Delegates must not begin before Tuesday 5 February 2008. Florida is sanctioned 50% of their delegation hence, the number of delegates is decreased from 114 to 57. The eliminated positions include the 3 automatic delegates (State Chair, National Committeewoman and National Committeeman).

TheGreenPapers.com will be tracking delegate counts as both "Soft" (here assuming that relevant delegations will remain sanctioned into the National Convention [that is: with half the originally allocated delegates to be seated at the Republican National Convention]) and as "Alternative" (here assuming that the full delegation of an affected jurisdiction- as originally allocated before being sanctioned- is eventually to be seated [that is, at some point before the Convention, sanctions will be lifted]) from now until the Party's National Convention convenes or until no delegation is any longer sanctioned, if this should occur prior to the Convention.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Alternative Soft Total Plan. This plan assumes the delegation is not sanctioned.

Tuesday 29 January 2008: All 114 of Florida's delegates to the Republican National Convention are allocated to presidential contenders in today's Florida Presidential Primary.

75 district delegates are to be allocated to presidential contenders based on the primary results in each of the 8 congressional districts: each congressional district is assigned 3 National Convention delegates and the presidential contender receiving the greatest number of votes in that district will receive all of that district's National Convention delegates.
36 at-large delegates (10 base at-large delegates plus 26 bonus delegates) are to be allocated to the presidential contender receiving the greatest number of votes in the primary statewide.
3 party leaders, the National Committeeman, the National Committeewoman, and the chairman of the Florida's Republican Party, will attend the convention, by virtue of their position, bound to the presidential contender receiving the greatest number of votes in the primary statewide.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Soft/Hard Total Plan. This plan assumes the delegation is sanctioned.

Tuesday 29 January 2008: All 57 of Florida's delegates to the Republican National Convention are allocated to presidential contenders in today's Florida Presidential Primary.

All 57 delegates are to be allocated to the presidential contender receiving the greatest number of votes in the primary statewide.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Delegates at the Congressional District level will be chosen between 6 February 2008 and 30 April 2008 at the delegate selection caucuses. At-Large delegates will be chosen between 6 February 2008 and 31 May 2008 at an Republican Party of Florida Executive Board meeting.

Commercials

OperationBroadcastFreedom.com is not receiving enough attention and support. They've put together some great ads, but the word is not getting out effectively.

Really, this hurts

Rudy has bought this one. But we can surprise. More $ for the campaign would help move the tv stuff along. We are this movement and no tv commercial was needed with me, just a person walking up to me and personally asking for my vote. It's not like the tv commercials did anything for us anyway. We just need Rudy to lose here, if he does he's out. This is a marathon and they're not easy but it's worth it in the end.

Plus all of the money spent on TV commercials...

...goes directly to the MSM. If FOX, NBC, CBS, etc are the enemy, why would Ron Paul want to dump all of his hard-earned campaign funds into their coffers?

I'd rather see it spent on postcards and stamps, or phone banks, etc.

What Part of Floida Are You Talking About?

In my area of Florida, there is plenty of energy, money, and buzz. I've heard dozens of radio commercials, our Meetup groups are growing, and we are looking forward to Ron Paul visiting the state in the week before the primary. My county is covered with Ron Paul signs and the drag-queen Julie-Annie and the shyster Minister Huckabee have about as much chance here as a snowball in hell. This is Ron Paul country.

Where are you located?

I know the Tampa Bay Clearwater area is doing very well as far as RP support and enthusiasm..

Rudy

Rudy is def focusing on Florida. We need to make a strong push down here. I agree it seemed as though Ron was doing great here. I think a lot are still undecided and so we really need some help. It would be nice to see some tv spots up.

jacksonville / atlantic beach

We had the blimp downtown last month. It used to be that the only signs I would see here was Ron Paul. Now I am starting to see some Romney signs encroach upon Altantic Blvd. We really need to do well in FL, or else I am afraid we wont have any momentum going into super tuesday.

Rudy's blowing ALL his money on Florida

Hq seems not to know what the h..from all the posts here I am beocoming convinced. Even the daily dose is NO liason with us, and if THAT is Daniel's job description he is truly blowing it. We do not seem to be able to rely on them so ..

watch the limo video, and then do something..

Does anyone here with REAL

Does anyone here with REAL political knowledge have recommendations for replacements for the leaders of Ron's campaign? WE NEED NEW PROFESSIONAL CAMPAIGNERS A.S.A.P.!

I agree

I have no idea what is going on, but they obviously don't care about Dr. Paul winning. This past week we door hung 500 dvd's (that I purchased myself), I sent out 150 slim jims in envelopes to the people in my church because I don't know if the campaign is going to send them any literature!!! I am the only precinct captain signed up in my county, another person in my meetup tried to sign up, but couldn't because there was a bug in the system nobody decided to tell us about. Oh and my billboard that my group paid for is sitting on the ground and has been since friday because the property it is on has been sold and the billboard company didn't think it would have to be moved this soon. Meanwhile early voting starts Wednesday. God help us!

Cheers from Memphis

wherever you are in TN, buddy!

Sorry about your billboard. That sucks. No advice for you there.

As for the precinct captain thing, first, I think the bugs may be fixed by now. Also, just share your names with the other person for now. That's what we're doing since

Lastly, you did awesome with the DVD hanging and slimjim mailing! Good job!

I know we're all frustrated. One can only hope for now that the campaign has a plan for the funds. We mustn't stop giving, for that reason alone. However, if the official campaign really reads this site, trust me, they are well aware that we're all at least wondering.

Hang in there and know that you're being a FANTASTIC foot soldier for Dr. Paul, and the Constitution. I am impressed with your efforts!

Contact Pat Buchanan

Seriously. He must have contacts.

Florida tv

Don't think support is dying down here, but I have been begging for tv ads here too. If we lose Florida, it may be all over. These old-timers don't go on the internet, but they sure as heck love their tv.....and they damn sure vote!

HQ's needs about 3-4 million in tv here immediately. I have not seen the first ad here either. The people in Florida have worked their tail off for Ron and we really need their help now......for all of our sake. Imagine a win in Florida just before Super Tuesday. Can you say, President Paul?

Bob W., Naples, FL

Same here in Tenessee

we were suppose to have direct mail and t.v. commercials, nothing. This is an open primary state and no other candidate's signs are visible. Early voting starts Wednesday. I'm starting to get worried.

Get things moving

Get the message out there brother!!! Everything is so important don't get discouraged. Get friends together and party and wave signs. :)

I was just in South Beach

I was just in South Beach Florida and all I saw was Ron Paul signs...so I beg to differ. But I did not watch TV...all I saw was RP signs everywhere..In Ft Lauderdale and South Beach!
