MSM, OR US PAULITES?????

The Concord Monitor has written a front page article about what some Ron Paul supporters have done. This is terrible. What the article states is TRUE. I am a Sutton native, and know FIRST HAND that all of this article is TRUE. My family live there, and some of them voted for Ron Paul. I know personally every Sutton resident that is named in this article, including the one who reported to the town clerk in the morning. I knew this was going on at the time, and called Alex Jones while he was spreading horrible lies, and told him the truth, but he wouldn't listen. This is terrible and if the MSM gets ahold of it before we do something about it, could be devastating. Please, could you all, except those who can't hold their bad attitudes (the ones who did this) help by emailing the town clerk, etc and apologizing for the ones who did this? Also, a letter to the editor would be nice too. There is a spot in upper right corner of the article where you can write to the editor. Thank you so much. We need to be a good example for the doctor. This is what he would do, apologize for this, if he had anything to do with it.
Here is the article which is all TRUE:

Why not just tell the whole world...so MSM will surely get this.

Let this die folks, this post is a troublemaker--beware of any post that asks for 'help' doing anything. Manipulation---don't we all want to 'help'?

Ok, yes she messed up. I

Ok, yes she messed up. I don't see any reason to believe that she did it on purpose, though she should have been more thorough and careful in her work. And I agree that the paper should not have brushed off 31 votes like they were unimportant. But I do think it's critical that we present ourselves as rational, calm human beings (which most of us are, I'm sure) if we want anyone to take Ron Paul's message seriously. I'm so sick of people brushing us off as being some army of wierdos. It's great to be energetic. I love the blimp and the limo and all the cool T-shirts and everything, but our energy should be focused on positive activities that communicate our message while diminishing the likelihood of scaring people away. I agree that an apology is in order (maybe even to Hannity for the snowball incident- please don't burn me at the stake!)

Troll alert!

Ron Paul for President!!!

How dare you come in here and claim to have first hand knowledge of this nonsense.

In the poet's words, "Thou protest to much" this women knew what she did and is afraid of getting caught for her crimes. So she tries to redirect the blame to Ron Paul supporters!

Who ever you are, you need to just move on down the line! I find your post to be despicable and see you for what you are and that is a troll!

Not much to apologize about IMHO

With all of the drama surrounding voter fraud allegations over the past seven years, you might think that someone/anyone in a position of authority regarding overseeing ACCURATE election procedures would make DARN SURE they did their job correctly. Mistakes in this area of work CAN NOT happen if we wish for the integrity and trustworthiness of our political system to be upheld.

It is mistakes like this that give electronic voter machine advocates ammunition for their implementation.

I'll bet there are no mistakes in that precinct next time, or the time after that, etc, etc, etc.

"Luctor et Emergo" - Struggle and Emerge

mistake or not

I think it's safe to say that the American public will not tolerate our elections being tampered with in any way. I also don't think the public is going to be sympathetic to "mistakes" being made.

I do wish that people would handle these situations with more tact but overall, I can't see this hurting us.

Hmm ...

I read the story and I was feeling somewhat sympathetic until I got to the part about how ... ah well, she has a job ..
And one that she and her coworkers obviously dont take very seriously.

Does she understand the responsibilty she assumed in her capacity as an election official?
To screw up on a "whoping" 30 something votes as the article phoo-phooed is telling 30 something people that what they think doesnt matter.
She, or someone in her department, or more likely her entire department screwed up. End of story.
No point in doublechecking something like that, huh? Seems most people make more effort in making an omlet than these officials make carrying out there duty of counting votes. Ah well.
So the calls fade away. Maybe next time she will take her job more seriously along with everyone else in her position.
Just my 2 cents ....

When I vote on Tuesday

....am telling my preceint to make sure they get the votes right on Tuesday. We are watching!!! :)

gigione

I have to agree...

I read the article and saw the sympathetic undertones... *I went home and cried*... I DONT BELIEVE A WORD OF THIS...
Why??? we are talking totalling up six friggin candidates and calling them in...
It was a responsibility that was FAILED...
It was a job that was handled HORRIBLY...
If it was never caught, it would have been VOTER FRAUD...
And anyone who is caught and has any sense at all isnt going to say "YEAH, I DID IT ON PURPOSE"
I have SEEN so many people lie before... they usually fall back on TWO *battlestatements*... A. IGNORANCE- I didnt do it on purpose (which I saw differently)
or B. Get defensive and say A. You took it wrong or B. I did it for this reason (the beligerant attack)...
theres not much more you can say....
I see NO REASON what so ever to call and say "I apologise you got caught doing something wrong rather through intention or ineptness" and people are mad at you"

self bump, sorry, it disappeared

I disagree that she should

I disagree that she should have been yelled at and lied to, for sure. BUT I do not agree she should be apologised to at all. She had a VERY serious responsibility and she screwed up. I guess maybe in the next election she or whoever will take more care and responsibility in totaling and reporting our VERY important votes.. Not only did she cry and whine, SHE never seemed to think it was important nor apologise. Guess she found out it was.
