Memorial Service for Marines killed in Afghanistan

Memorial Services to be held Friday Sep 21st at station chapel On board MCAS Yuma. This service is closed to the public.

Pennsylvania Rep. Tim Murphy was scheduled to give a one-minute tribute to Raible in the House of Representatives in Washington, D.C. on Thursday at 9 a.m. Arizona time. It was scheduled to air live on C-SPAN.

Gov. Jan Brewer has ordered flags flown at half-staff through next Tuesday.

"I ask that my fellow Arizonans join me today in offering heartfelt prayers and deepest condolences for the families and friends of Lt. Col. Raible and Sgt. Atwell. Please also continue to pray for the men and women in our Armed Forces as they fight to protect our nation and defend our freedom."

Mrs Atwell has asked that in lieu of monetary contributions, individuals or units make a contribution in memory of Sgt Bradley W. Atwell to the Wounded Warrior Project.
