Opposition Presidential Debate Chicago Oct. 23rd

Chicago. When the Democrats, Republicans and the few corporations that own America’s entire news industry tried to find a way to insure that the powers that be, stay the powers that be, they came up with the Commission on Presidential Debates. As a result, it’s been an entire generation – 20 years – since an independent or opposition party Presidential candidate was allowed to participate. Now, there’s a ‘free and equal’ debate where every Presidential candidate with a mathematical chance of winning is invited.

Commission on Presidential Debates

According to the Commission’s website, ‘The Commission on Presidential Debates (CPD) was established in 1987 to ensure that debates, as a permanent part of every general election, provide the best possible information to viewers and listeners. Its primary purpose is to sponsor and produce debates for the United States presidential and vice presidential candidates and to undertake research and educational activities relating to the debates.’
