Politico: Ron Paul Campaign's Bu$y August

"Ron Paul’s presidential hopes have long been over, but he’s still spending cash like a candidate.

Paul spent more than $588,000 in August to fund a range of activities and initiatives, from travel to consultants to maintaining a sizable staff, new federal financial disclosures show.

His presidential campaign ended August with more than $2 million in reserve, even taking in about $103,000 worth of contributions for the month, his report indicates.

That stands in stark contrast to fellow GOP also-rans Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum, both of whom continue to carry seven-figure debt from their presidential runs.

Paul never officially dropped out of the Republican presidential primary; only on Aug. 28, when delegates at the Republican National Convention enshrined Mitt Romney as the party nominee, did Paul’s campaign officially cease."

Ask ANYONE from California

And most will tell you the campaign didn't give a flying-F about us, and let us to defend the largest amount of delegates on our own.

Zero-Material support
Zero-TV ads
Zero-Phone banking Support
Zero-Poll watching support
Zero-You name it, besides a couple big rallies, between Campaign Fund Raisers (pay lunch/dinners)

They didn't even pass out any stickers on the collage campuses when record numbers of people showed up, but of course the private venders were taking advantage of the supporters charging $5 each for a stickers.

Best of all was the Benton Bomb Shell right before the vote!
We got destroyed, everyone thought RP dropped out of the race, it was pure damage control for the 1000's hrs a lot of us put into the effort....

mature and honest discussion about what really happened

Instead of voting down my comments, you all should be brave enough to face the truth! How can you hope to change the system if you can not admit the facts?

AT LEAST DISCUSS WHAT HAPPENED with some degree of maturity and honesty.

From my vantage point, i would seem Ron Paul left the movement out to dry, right in the middle of the campaign. Romney had no chance and now look at him.

-- as per Mormons and Masons

IMHO, Most if not all Abrahamic religious denominations are corporate entities, initially created by the criminal class to confound the masses,
that includes the masonic guilds and the Mormons.

the first Third Party in America was an Anti-Masonic party

FreeMasons and Mormonism (includes bill stills)

Occultic and Masonic Influence in Early Mormonism

Oh brother...

I'm going to assume you are just ignorant of Mormonism. Romney does not represent Mormon doctrine. He rejects it as it relates to political/practical application. He is a known liar and no friend to Freedom and the Constitution. I guess you could say he's similar to Harry Reid, but he's a Republican.

Ron Paul is dead on with regards to Mormon political doctrine. He has a ton of support among the awakened Mormons, but unfortunately most Mormons, like most Americans are dumbed down because they don't get that the MSM is a mouthpiece for the Gadianton Robbers (The Federal Reserve bank owners).

To help educate you, I suggest reading the Book of Mormon. But please read these two quotes for starters, and please stop with the disinformation like Tarpley likes to spew:

Alma 37:27 And now, my son, I command you that ye retain all their oaths, and their covenants, and their agreements in their secret abominations; yea, and all their signs and their wonders ye shall keep from this people, that they know them not, lest peradventure they should fall into darkness also and be destroyed.

Click on both the above link and below link to read the rest. These testify and warn of groups like the Masons, the Bilderburgs, the Illuminati, who seek to destroy the freedom of all nations and people. Besides the testimony of Jesus Christ, that He is the Son of God and Redeemer of the world, the single greatest and gravest warning/testimony of the Book of Mormon is as follows:

Ether Chapter 8:
21 And they have caused the destruction of this people of whom I am now speaking, and also the destruction of the people of Nephi. 22 And whatsoever nation shall uphold such secret combinations, to get power and gain, until they shall spread over the nation, behold, they shall be destroyed; for the Lord will not suffer that the blood of his saints, which shall be shed by them, shall always cry unto him from the ground for vengeance upon them and yet he avenge them not. 23 Wherefore, O ye Gentiles, it is wisdom in God that these things should be shown unto you, that thereby ye may repent of your sins, and suffer not that these murderous combinations shall get above you, which are built up to get power and gain—and the work, yea, even the work of destruction come upon you, yea, even the sword of the justice of the Eternal God shall fall upon you, to your overthrow and destruction if ye shall suffer these things to be.

You see, Mormons are without excuse. We obviously don't support the Bilderbergs or CFR's or The Fed Reserve. Those who do, like Romney and Reid have sold out, like almost all the other politicians. Money talks, and that's why it's harder for a camel to fit through the eye of a needle, than it is for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.

"It is well enough that people of the nation do not understand our banking and monetary system, for if they did, I believe there would be a rEVOLution before tomorrow morning." - Henry Ford

Ron Paul is, as Mormons in

Ron Paul is, as Mormons in the movement would agree, The Ezra Taft Benson of our day. Yet in Nevada (heavy LDS pouplation) Romney got 95% of the LDS vote, Paul 3% and the other 2% split between Frothey and the Grinch. RP's Nevada campaign office even had returned Missionaries on staff, took ads out in LDS newspapers and precinct walked LDS specific homes. I'm from California but kept up with RPHQ South Nevada because it was the closest HQ to me, I even met Ron there after the Vegas debate.

Most Mormons will vote/have voted for Mitt Romney because he's Mormon, MORE SO in my opinion, than Blacks voted for Obama in 08 by percent.

Side Note: Harry Reid is a Mormon as well from NV. He still gets the vote and his policys are not of his churches doctrine.

Dr. Paul didn't

leave the movement out to dry. He didn't have enough money to campaign in larger states like Florida or California where you have to spend TENS of millions on advertising weekly if not daily.

I think he/we did BRILLIANTLY to compete with RICH ESTABLISHMENT supported candidates for as long as we did. At least we got MANY people to take a look at Dr. Paul's positions. We still didn't get the votes because people don't want to accept the TRUTH about our country.

if you all don't mind me saying

if you all don't mind me saying, it was obvious to me and i hope it was even more obvious to thousands of young people who supported him, that Ron Paul threw the race. Tarpley was right and we the people got suckered yet again. Never again... the upside is the young got their first lesson and most important lesson right off the bat. Politicians lie, lie and lie, they are not to be trusted.

We have to find some other way to change the system, but if the system won't change, the people will. Leaner and meaner... yah, maybe we the people will, like Cain, murder our brother. The people at the top may end wishing for the good old days when we the people were simply poor and able to trust.

There is a silent rage that dwells in me. These eyes have seen them, young and old, big and small, with smiles or even big bores, but always one thing the same, they are not of me or for me.

My destiny is not to cower, my destiny is not to wither, my destiny is not follow or fall, my destiny is not to serve them, my destiny is not mourn a state bereft of heart and soul. Their spells i learn to cast, their words, symbols and rituals will one day come to haunt them.

One day... one day. that new dawn they dream of, they labor so hard to bring about... that day will be my day... that sun will rise for me, the people.

it saddens me to post this

There's no solution in Politics - Alan Watt Breaks Down Ron Paul

Webster Tarpley To Ron Paul Supporters

When I was reviewing the who's who of Austrian economics, several times I ran across this phrase, 'Ludwig Von Mises and Friedrich Hayek were funded all through out their career.'

However, no one ever bothered to tell me who, EXACTLY WHO, funded Von Mises or Hayek.

Care to know the identity of their benefactors?
Our old friends the Rockefellers.

I watched those videos.

I've never heard of Alan Watt, but this is what he said, and so judge for yourself his credibility:

* RP is for globalism! LOL.
* Said RP is for a new WORLD monetary system!
* Said RP blinds patriotic Americans by using terms like "democracy" or "patriotism". Really??
* Said he's a "lifer". And that "you don't stay a lifer in politics unless you're one of them and you compromise." Sure, RP is known for compromising! LOL.
* Said that "he got all of his relatives in politics, not just his son." Who besides Rand??? I guess he's referring to Benton?
* Said that RP is "a standard lifer politician". Yep, RP is just like he rest!
* He said RP never helped the people.
* And, to lead off, Alan said that "all Mormons are Masons," that they all go through Masonic rituals....well, I'm a Mormon, and that is not true. I've been a Mormon and have only met one Mormon Mason. It's very unusual. The Book of Mormon actually WARNS AGAINST secret combinations like the Illuminati, etc.

Given the above quotes, don't you think you might re-consider quoting such an idiot???

As for Webster, I've listened to him many times. He is a knowledgeable historian, BUT he is a very arrogant person, and I've heard him report with great passion misinformation and flat out lies and TERRIBLE biased opinions against Mormons.

Alex Jones has him on as a guest, but openly says he disagrees with Webster, and he's tried to convince him of some of his errors. But to Alex's credit, he does allow differing opinions on his show. Tarpley does bring some good analysis into play, but is misled on many things, including his basic premise that RP is one of the corrupt GOP politicians. Shame on him.

Webster obviously would disagree with trying to change the party from within, but he and the other guy, Alan Watt, are totally off when they claim that RP is a tool and was there to mislead people.

RP didn't get blacked out and vilified by the MSM for being a tool of the globalists.

In his defense, I too have

In his defense, I too have heard of connections between masonry and the Mormon faith, and Joseph Smith WAS a mason... but then I have known many masons who are good people and, while I've only known a couple Mormons, and as far as I'm aware they were not masons and were very kind.

"Secret" organizations are everywhere, so it is easy to say anyone is connected to them, really.

End The Fed!

I think this lecture should

clear the connection of masonry:
Really good...

A good way to defend your freedoms:

Come on!

Sumwoman, hold on a second.

A house divided itself cannot stand.

If you aren't for me, you are against me.

True, the devil will tell you 99 truths to get you to believe one lie, as the saying goes, but in the case of the Austrian Economic School of Thought, I don't see this applying. What is the one lie they are teaching?

You are saying that Hayek was a tool of the Rockefellers. First of all, you cited no citation, but second of all, we don't have to be conspiratorial about EVERYTHING. Grouping the Austrians as part of the conspiracy is like saying Ron Paul is part of the conspiracy.

The Austrians are irrevocably AGAINST central banks, and FOR market determination of prices (i.e., FREEDOM). The globalist oligarchs would not promote these ideas.

young David Rockefeller tutored by Friedrich A. Hayek

WTF Rockefeller funded Mises?

Why wasn't Murray Rothbard funded by them?

This is how others operate their campaigns...

There is only ONE who leaves never owing anyone anything.
All staffers, venues and vested interests are ALWAYS PAID IN FULL.

From Bloomberg:
"In the case of Newt Gingrich, a financial comeback may be a harder climb.

The former U.S. House speaker’s time on the campaign trail has led to the shuttering of two businesses that generated $107 million in income during the last 10 years and helped him accrue at least $7.3 million in assets. His campaign is struggling, bouncing a $500 check for the filing fee in the June 26 Utah primary, and amassing almost $4.5 million in debt."

Just LOOK what Newt gave up, just to keep Paul OUT!lol

The fat little grinch left the stage owing millions, all though not as bad- Bachmann, Cain and Perry did practically the same thing.

Romney will do the same, as well as GJ.
They all operate their campaigns in massive debt and not only is this a DEFINITE losing strategy for any third party, it also speaks volumes of how they "operate" as a person and will run the country.

Paul is certain to have money left over for any unseen debt that may pop up after the campaign is over. He never owes anyone anything and ALWAYS makes sure he upholds the MORAL HIGH GROUND!

"OH NO! He has a SON?" Neoconservatives and Liberals EVERYWHERE!

Rand Paul 2016

Well they only compare his

Well they only compare his net to Santorum and Gingrich but not to Romney or Obama. They don't compare what they SPENT, only what was left over. We knew darn well RP wasn't the kind of guy to OVER-spend and leave himself in the negative. It shows me he had a real following and supporters to have done his own rally in Florida and still have money left over. Somehow he managed to do all that and still not go in the hole......musta had way more support than the media gave him credit for. Although I wish he'd have spent some more on air time and getting his message out a bit more before the rally....

I wasn't able to give him a lot

but if he wanted to spend the money I donated on a new bike and/or dinner with Carol I'd be OK with that. He's earned it.

Flew charter before so staff members could earn 6 digits today :)

Of course he flew charter

Did you look at his schedule many weeks? It was either charter or waste half his time waiting for commercial airplanes. And, as has been pointed out before, being investigated by the TSA. If he flew commercial, it's quite possible he'd be held from his flight and start missing events--they'd just love if he didn't appear in debates and the like.

Ron Paul flew a chartered plane and he asked us for a moneybomb because he was on a grueling campaign schedule and it was to save him wasted time dealing with the jerks in the airports. Also it alleviated Dr Paul having to suffer the totalitarian testicle grabbing TSA which is something a man of his stature should never have to suffer. : )

I don't respond to emails or pm's.
Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution, inevitable.

I think most of us would be fine if he spent it all on ending

...the fed. then whatever he had leftover should go to the state parties that nominated him since the establishment took all money from the state party, like they did in Nevada.

who can run in 2016 against Paul that have ran previously?

From what i understand Santorum and Gingrich wouldn't be able to run in 2016 because their campaigns are suspended until its paid off. Could Huckabee or anyone else from 2008 candidacy run in 2016 or do they all have debt as well? Pawlently might have been opposition but he is now part of a financial board and might not run because he has to be non partisan or something. I am just wondering if Ron paul will be the only candidate with a strong current following against all new candidates in 2016.

I'm not sure how excited even WE will be if...

...he doesn't put somebody like Tom Woods or a TRUE patriot at the head of his campaign. I mean, IF Tom Woods was put in charge or somebody approved of by Tom, for example, THEN we might be poised to explode.

Otherwise, not doing so (i.e., putting sold-out traitors in place of Benton) would kill momentum from the very beginning.

Conversely, place the right people in place at the beginning would guarantee massive support from the beginning. Same would be said of Rand.

But I'm not sure either the father or son want to do this, what evidence do we have that they would go full pedal to the metal? None so far. It's a case of awakened patriots wanting to do battle, but the "leaders" shrinking from an all-out assault.

And if they will shrink, what alternatives do we have? Who has the charisma, etc. to rally the troops?

"It is well enough that people of the nation do not understand our banking and monetary system, for if they did, I believe there would be a rEVOLution before tomorrow morning." - Henry Ford

Bro where have you been???

Tom Woods was banned from the 2012 campaign and stabbed in the back!! He wasn't welcome anymore!!! This is one reason why a lot of us are not happy with how things were ran!

Always about the message and

Always about the message and being accountable. A man like that, a campaign even, could never be allowed in Washington.

Southern Agrarian

It's an education / wake up campaign now

and, you might as well burn up the FRN's while they still have some value. However, I'd be more inclined to offer some of the money back to donors than to add more staff.

I'm sure that amount also includes

Rental of the Sun Dome/charter buses and we had a restaurant that we went to afterwards... for the life of me I can't remember the name of it now. They gave away tons of shirts and stuff that wasn't sold, too. That number isn't really surprising to me, at all.

Ron Paul convert from the Heart of Dixie

was the name of it!:)

"I don't know if the world is full of smart men bluffing
or imbeciles who mean it."

Even if he's telling the truth, focusing too much on zionism will only cause hatred and perhaps even violence. He sounds like a good guy, but I hope he can stay tactful and peaceful.

Here are the Zionist Leaders in their own words

I don't know if that was a nice little smear attempt that failed or just stupidity? The hatred is caused by nothing more than the brutish animal killers that have the people there in what amounts to concentration camps and murder little Palestinian children quite frequently supported by US aid$$$. People like you that do not read and educate yourself thoroughly before opening your trap never cease to amaze me.

Some Ron Paul books in free PDF files to get you started.

Here are Israeli leaders in their own words.

Israeli quotes about Palestinians

I don't know if they're true or not, but if real than it's absolutely shocking, and further prove that the real goal of the 1949 ethnic cleansing and the 1967 war was the establishment of a racist Eretz Israel and not security. It certainly equals the recent quotes of Iranian president or Hamas calls for the destruction of Israel in evilness.

"1. "There is a huge gap between us (Jews) and our enemies? Not just in ability but in morality, culture, sanctity of life, and conscience. They are our neighbors here, but it seems as if at a distance of a few hundred meters away, there are people who do not belong to our continent, to our world, but actually belong to a different galaxy."

Israeli president Moshe Katsav. The Jerusalem Post,
May 10, 2001

2. "The Palestinians are like crocodiles, the more you give them meat, they want more".

... Ehud Barak, Prime Minister of Israel at the time - August 28, 2000. Reported in the Jerusalem Post August 30, 2000

4. "The Palestinians" would be crushed like grasshoppers ... heads smashed against the boulders and walls."

Israeli Prime Minister (at the time) in a speech to Jewish settlers New York Times April 1, 1988

5. "When we have settled the land, all the Arabs will be able to do about it will be to scurry around like drugged cockroaches in a bottle."

Raphael Eitan, Chief of Staff of the Israeli Defense Forces, New York Times, 14 April 1983.

6. "How can we return the occupied territories? There is nobody to return them to."

Golda Meir, March 8, 1969.

7. "There was no such thing as Palestinians, they never existed."

Golda Maier Israeli Prime Minister June 15, 1969

8. "The thesis that the danger of genocide was hanging over us in June 1967 and that Israel was fighting for its physical existence is only bluff, which was born and developed after the war."

Israeli General Matityahu Peled, Ha'aretz, 19 March 1972.

9. "If I were an Arab leader, I would never sign an agreement with Israel. It is normal; we have taken their country. It is true God promised it to us, but how could that interest them? Our God is not theirs. There has been Anti - Semitism, the Nazis, Hitler, Auschwitz, but was that their fault ? They see but one thing: we have come and we have stolen their country. Why would they accept that?"

David Ben Gurion (the first Israeli Prime Minister): Quoted by Nahum Goldmann in Le Paraddoxe Juif (The Jewish Paradox), pp121.

9a. Ben Gurion also warned in 1948 : "We must do everything to insure they ( the Palestinians) never do return....The old will die and the young will forget."

10. "We have to kill all the Palestinians unless they are resigned to live here as slaves."

David Ben-Gurion, in his diary, 18 July 1948, quoted in Michael Bar Zohar's Ben-Gurion: the Armed Prophet, Prentice-Hall, 1967, p. 157.

15. "We should prepare to go over to the offensive. Our aim is to smash Lebanon, Trans-Jordan, and Syria. The weak point is Lebanon, for the Moslem regime is artificial and easy for us to undermine. We shall establish a Christian state there, and then we will smash the Arab Legion, eliminate Trans-Jordan; Syria will fall to us. We then bomb and move on and take Port Said, Alexandria and Sinai."

David Ben-Gurion, May 1948, to the General Staff. From Ben-Gurion, A Biography, by Michael Ben-Zohar, Delacorte, New York 1978.

16. "Jewish villages were built in the place of Arab villages. You do not even know the names of these Arab villages, and I do not blame you because geography books no longer exist. Not only do the books not exist, the Arab villages are not there either. Nahlal arose in the place of Mahlul; Kibbutz Gvat in the place of Jibta; Kibbutz Sarid in the place of Huneifis; and Kefar Yehushua in the place of Tal al-Shuman. There is not a single place built in this country that did not have a former Arab population."

19. "There are some who believe that the non-Jewish population, even in a high percentage, within our borders will be more effectively under our surveillance; and there are some who believe the contrary, i.e., that it is easier to carry out surveillance over the activities of a neighbor than over those of a tenant. [i] tend to support the latter view and have an additional argument:...the need to sustain the character of the state which will henceforth be Jewish...with a non-Jewish minority limited to 15 percent. I had already reached this fundamental position as early as 1940 [and] it is entered in my diary."
