Rand Paul stands alone in Iran Resolutions! 90-1

Rand Paul continues to stand for Liberty. Refuses to vote yes to allow the US "to do anything possible to stop Iran from getting a nuke". Hopefully we'll be sending you a few reinforcements next year!

"In a 90-1 vote, the Senate approved a resolution insisting that the United States will do all it can to prevent Iran from developing a nuclear weapon."

Another Dr. No!

Another Dr. No!

False Flag:

Why did we "Shock and Awe" Iraq?

Well, we all know Baghdad didn't have any weapons of mass destruction. It was a False Flag.

We went in for the Bankers NWO to protect the Fiat Money System.
Saddam refused to accept Fiat Currency and insisted on gold or silver for his oil.

Iran is one of only three countries left in the world whose central bank is not under Rothschild control. Before 9-11 there were reportedly seven: Afghanistan, Iraq, Sudan, Libya, Cuba, North Korea and Iran. By 2003, however, Afghanistan and Iraq were swallowed up by the Rothschild octopus, and by 2011 Sudan and Libya were also gone. In Libya, a Rothschild bank was established in Benghazi while the country was still at war.

When these sovereign countries refused to accept fiat currency they were invaded and introduced to democracy.

The purpose of the wars is to enforce the Bankers Fiat Money System.

End the Fiat System and return to a gold standard and the purpose of policing the world will end and the NWO will die on the vine.

Right now Iran is accepting only gold for their oil and four countries are complying. They are giving Iran Gold for their oil.

Brazil, India, Russia and China are those countries.

The Iranian nuclear bomb is a False Flag.

The threat of war is real. The New World Order is fighting for its existence. The Nuclear Bomb is a False Flag but the Fiat Money System means life or death to the UN and the New World Order.

“When we unplug the Fed, the dollar will stop its long depreciating trend, international currency value will stop fluctuating wildly, banking will no longer be a dice game, and financial power will cease to gravitate toward a small circle of government- connected to insiders.” Ron Paul

Thank you, Rand Paul

Nothing like making stupid promises to start new unconstitutional wars! When do we start war with Pakistan and every other country with nukes?

90-1 vote huh?

Apparently Rand is completely unable to convince ANY of his colleagues to vote his way. Does not bode well for the future...

There were plenty of votes Ron Paul stood alone on too. Weak argument

good for Rand

We should acknowledge him when he stands on principles.

Response I got from one of my senators.

"Dear Friend:
Thank you for contacting me. Like you, I am outraged by the murders of Christopher Stephens, our ambassador to Libya, and of three other members of our diplomatic mission there, as well as by the continuing violence against our embassies and consulates in the Middle East. I agree that we should place restrictions on future foreign aid to any country unwilling to offer a basic commitment to the United States that our embassies and diplomatic personnel will be afforded the full protection of the host country.

During Senate consideration of a stopgap funding bill, Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) brought forward an amendment to strip U.S. foreign aid for Egypt, Pakistan, Libya, and potentially other countries. However, as Senator Paul acknowledged on the Senate floor on September 21, his quickly written amendment had some flaws, including problems with its constitutionality. Senator Paul should have been allowed to make needed revisions before the Senate vote. However, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) used parliamentary procedure to prevent Senator Paul from making needed modifications. As a result, the amendment was defeated by a lopsided margin — in spite of most Senators agreeing with its underlying principle.

This issue will not disappear. When the Senate reconvenes after the November elections, it will still be timely and important to vote on carefully written legislation to restrict foreign aid.

Please be assured that I will keep your thoughts in mind. I appreciate hearing from you, and I hope that you will not hesitate to contact me on any issue that is important to you.

I don't get Tom Coburn. He

I don't get Tom Coburn. He voted against Paul both times, despite opposing the war in Iraq and intervention in Kosovo.

Since 2010 he's taken a total U-turn and become a full-on neo-con, supporting intervention in Libya, aggression towards Iran and unlimited foreign aid.

My only real guess is he's accepting lobbyist money.

Yes, he's retiring

and making sure his retirement fund is well padded, and/or he is trying to get a lobbyist job is some form or another.

I've been checking for the actually vote count. Not there.

I'll keep checking for the official list of these traitors.. It is strange that the vote count was immediately available the filibustered Pakistani aid bill, but not for Iran nuclear anti-weapons bill.

There were a total of 91 Senators present in the early morning hours today, as evidenced by the 81-10 and 90-1 votes recorded. Both votes total 91.

What am I getting at? Of the ten Senators who voted with Rand on the filibustered Pakistani aid bill, all of them abandoned Rand on the Iran anti-weapons bill.

Although this was a "non-binding" resolution, it sends a very negative message to Iran. Here are these nine additional traitors who don't want to contain Iran, they just want war:

Crapo (R-ID)
DeMint (R-SC)
Grassley (R-IA)
Lee (R-UT)
Moran (R-KS)
Risch (R-ID)
Roberts (R-KS)
Shelby (R-AL)
Toomey (R-PA)

In addition to the 81 other traitors:

Every one of them.

That's right...

And the next vote is 88-3, 78-13, 50-49...

Awesome job by Rand. Haters

Awesome job by Rand.

Haters gonna hate..

isn't mike lee still in the senate?

Mike Lee (and Ted Cruz, when

Mike Lee (and Ted Cruz, when he's elected) only really sides with us on domestic fiscal policy and civil liberties. He was never libertarian, more liberty-leaning/liberty-minded. Rand's alone.

Call me a freak if you like!

Rand Paul holds no credibility with me. He has already voted to increase sanctions on Iran. He talks out both sides of his mouth like his idol Mitt Flip Romney who has his FULL endorsement. His Dad should have paddled his azz more as a kid for lying so much.......

please try to become a senator

speak the truth 100% of the time and don't make any compromises, and see how far you get. probably will scare too many people to make it to neighborhood council. I would love someone like that in the senate, but i'll settle for someone that can get there and support key issues that are very important to me and the future of our country.

He's got to play a fine line

He's got to play a fine line in the political spectrum if he wants any chance for the GOP to support him in 2016--which is even more important with the power grab rule after the RNC.

Yes he voted for sanctions, but if he votes completely anti-war like his father did, he'll be blackballed as a lunatic. That's how the game's played. Sanctions were going to be passed anyways, it's good to make them think you're for it a little bit.

You must pick and choose your battles. Which leads us to this vote. Another war vote that will easily pass. But this is a bill that gives the President authority to do anything he wants regarding Iran. This bill is ridiculous. Full military authority against Iran, still no declaration. Rand stood up to it.

As you saw, he was the only one. Again, if you constantly are the only one voting no, you're seen as crazy. Yes it earned Ron a reputation, but it took 30 years to get recognized. Rand's on the same course, but his strategy is a little different. And I guarantee Ron's helping him plan it, telling him the mistakes he made and how to avoid them.

You know as well as anybody how corrupt the system is, you stand on your principles, but you also got to play the game as well, or you won't go anywhere.

What you cannot

comprehend is, in a free society, according to Ron Paul and Libertarians, INDIVIDUAL LIBERTY of opposition is respected as long as it did not violate liberties of others. The theoretical question "should we trust mullahs with nukes when many muslim men, women and children are ready to die for idea?" is not the reason to get so excited.

Ayn Rand's free society does not give Individual Liberty to the ideological opposition if such a liberty goes against Morality of Reason.

Where are all the "Rand's the devil" foaming at the mouth freaks

Let's hear you all now? Any thoughts?

I am a Rand detractor but

I am a Rand detractor but kudos on this. He's not the devil but he's unreliable and has serious character problems. How else can you explain his endorsement of Romney on Hannity? Now....I have repeatedly said that Rand is the best senator but we have a major dilemma because we can never tell which direction he will go.

If this is the beginning a trend, it will be wonderful for the liberty movement.

On the bright side, this single courageous vote gives the lie to the view that Rand is "more effective" than his dad and shows the folly of trying to win over the Hannity types.

I never doubted

Rand Paul for a second because I know that is what the elites want me to do. This game is too easy if you can look passed the smokescreen. They will send their minions over here to DP to get a little momentum going on the anti Rand stuff, and people in general tend to follow the herd when they see something. That is how they do it. I guarantee you there are minions on this site who have been here 4 years or more waiting to dissect us on here, always keep that in mind.

The next step is putting more

The next step is putting more people like Rand and Ron in the Congress. Change it from local. The next vote should be 89-2.
