Some New Hampshire Republicans prefer a Romney loss in November

Contrary to conventional wisdom, there are some New Hampshire Republicans who believe a loss by Governor Romney to President Obama in November would be better for the future of the country than a Romney win. So far their numbers appear to be small, but the percentage could grow if Ron Paul supporters, who are legion in New Hampshire, and participants in the growing Free State Project decide to get behind Governor Gary Johnson en masse.

These liberty-minded Republicans are holding firm to their convictions despite a boisterous effort from Establishment Republicans and their friends in the conservative media to guilt-trip or bully them into supporting Governor Romney. This article that appeared on the popular Breitbart.com, was the most vocal public effort to date to attempt to sway Ron Paul supporters to the Romney side. Unfortunately for the Romney campaign, the article seems to have fallen on deaf ears. The reaction to the piece from many Ron Paul supporters was that the article contained a patronizing tone and it did not adequately make the case for why Governor Romney is the right man to be President of the United States.

I think the article exagerates

the political scene in NH but I, and many folks I know, will be voting for Johnson. No Ron Paul supporter should even think of voting for Romney. A Romney vote disrespects Dr. Paul and the entire rEVOLution.
