Goldman Sachs To pay $12 million to settle "pay-to-play" probe

(Reuters) - Goldman Sachs Group Inc will pay more than $14 million to settle federal and state charges after it violated "pay-to-play" rules, in a case involving campaign contributions to former Massachusetts gubernatorial candidate Timothy Cahill.

Note: Who gets the 14 million? What the hell difference does it make when the Government and the TBTF banks work together to rob the American people? The 14 million will either be doled out and split up between the politically connected or the Fed will just type 14 million dollars into Goldmans account so they can "pay" the fine.

It's stunning to me how obvious the corruption and treason have become and yet most don't care and those of us that do are apparently powerless to do $hit about it.
