Right Before The Election, Savage Leaves The Airwaves - Lets Get Jerry Doyle In There

It's a major vacuum left on talk radio now that Michael Savage is gone. I'm not disappointed really. He didn't do the liberty movement or Ron Paul any favors. More or less an old school neocon skirting the lunatic fringe in a lot of ways.

What are the odds that a more liberty oriented host could take his place going up against Mark Levin in that time slot? Wouldn't it be great to get someone like Jerry Doyle in there? What do you think?

I'm emailing Jerry now to see if he can shoot for that spot. We need a fresh and honest voice in media and this is an opportunity. I don't know if the powers that be in talk radio would dare let someone like him in there in that top spot, but I think it would be a great victory for our cause.

If you want to email Jerry as well, you can do it here.

Agreed - Josh Tolley

JD is already on TRN they are just moving his time slot which is great but that leaves an opening! It doesn't have to be JD or JT (Josh Tolley), it can be BOTH!! With Savage leaving, there is an opening. I think what we should do is all get in touch the TRN and tell them they need to pick up Josh Tolley.

Think about this too, JD has been doing this for YEARS and he is good, no doubt. Josh has been doing this for 1 year (barely) and he already makes many people's top 5 fav lists! What would Josh's show be like with support from a major network like TRN?!

I say let's get them both.. call TRN!!

Michael "Savage" Weiner Predicts a "Reichstag Fire-like Event"

I really enjoy listening to Jerry.

Would love to be able to turn my car radio on and hear Jerry instead of the other tools.

Savage is gone, but not permanently.

He is way too into himself and his own personal agenda, IMO. He's not into Liberty. He can be very entertaining sometimes, just like the rest. But in the end he's just another neocon, that the other neocons don't seem to like.

Michael Savage wins legal battle with boss, leaves airwaves in search of new network
Published September 28, 2012

Michael Savage's talk show left the airwaves Thursday after the conservative host won a legal battle with his longtime employer, although his attorney said discussions with new networks are already under way.

Savage, who broadcasts from San Francisco, was heard on nearly 400 stations and has gained notoriety for offending immigrants and minorities, calling the Muslim holy book, the Quran, a "book of hate" and being banned in 2009 from traveling to England for allegedly fostering extremism or hatred. After that decision, the host appealed to one of the targets of his barbs, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, for help.

I am rooting for Free Talk

I am rooting for Free Talk Live.

I am a veteran, and I support Ron Paul.

I like Josh Tolley but

I think JD is best positioned to fill that space. It just depends on whether TRN has the balls to put someone like him with his anti-neocon liberty message in a prime spot like that. Especially right before an election and up against Levin.

JD in that slot would be

JD in that slot would be lethal to the establishment...
