Compare Romney And Johnson

Romney - one-term governor, didn't fulfill his campaign promises, in fact violated them, had a terrible record, was disliked so much that he couldn't even run for re-election.

Johnson - two-term governor, very successful, did everything he promised and more, was re-elected by a wider margin than the first time, is well-regarded in his state.

Both are successful businessmen, but Johnson's story is one of a straightforward, easy-to-understand service provider; Romney's is one of closing down businesses and doing things that the public cannot really understand or relate to.

And which one does the GOP prefer?

The one who favors war and cronyism, of course.

Great points.

GJ likes to say that in NM people wave at him with all five fingers -- not just one.

Gary's just lucky...

the Times didn't include those pesky film subsidies or his love of the death penalty.

I don't play, I commission the league.

Libertarian Presidential Candidate Gary Johnson

The Libertarian President Candidate can demand that the New York Times cover this portion of the race. The old dinosaur media only covers the R and D because it is the traditional way. Other candidates cannot get traction because the old dinosaur fails to cover their candidacy. Real journalists would cover a former two term Governor who would be on the ballot in all fifty states including the District of Columbia. Absolutely, the GOP is challenging Gary Johnson is three particular states, but this is not shocking.
