Ross Perot: No Endorsement for 2012

Ross Perot: No Endorsement for 2012

Perot is an equal-opportunity critic, unimpressed with both President Barack Obama and Romney when it comes to addressing the nation’s red ink.

“We’re on the edge of the cliff, and we have got to start fixing it now. Otherwise, we’re leaving a disaster to our children’s and our grandchildren’s future,” he said.

Wolf spoke with Perot as part of an interview for C-SPAN, where additional clips have been posted (the full interview is set to air Monday night).

Look at it like this ...

So your planning a party and thinking about what kind of beverage to serve you ask your perspective guests to choose between Sprit or Cola You begin to question several and some are for sprite and some for cola then you come to a guy those chooses Iced tea. now since Iced tea is not one of the choices you mark him down as a cola guy ... stay with me ... in the election of 2012 I am told my choices
are Romney and Obama but since I am voting Ron Paul most people tell me I am in fact voting for Obama ~ I am VERY unhappy with the choices I am being given so rather then choose between 2 drinks that are all but that same except for their color I choose something I think is better ( Iced Tea ) same with the election rather then chose between two candidates that are identical except for their color I am choosing someone that I THINK IS BETTER ( RON PAUL 2012 )

Ross Perot Interview with USA Today

WASHINGTON, DC
Monday, October 1, 2012

In a rare interview, Ross Perot sat down this past Thursday with USA Today Reporter Richard Wolf in his office in Plano, Texas. C-SPAN recorded the interview.

During the hour-long discussion, Mr. Perot talks about the current state of our economy and country, and how the issues he ran on in 1992 and 1996 are still relevant today – including addressing the debt and deficit spending, third party presidential runs, and the U.S. education system.

Joining Mr. Perot in the interview is David Walker. The former US Comptroller General has been working with Mr. Perot on initiatives to educate voters about economic issues in this upcoming election.

Richard Wolf’s article based on this interview will run in USA Today on Monday, October 1 and be available at their website www.usatoday.com

Ross Perot: No Endorsement for 2012

Great summary. Ross Perot is remembered by me as someone who could point out the problems with our country and then offer no solutions other than trust me to fix them. People in the US have wanted a valid alternative to the two party duopoly for many decades and they gave Perot the support, not because he offered solutions to the problems, but because he had the personal liquid wealth to mount a fight.

He was great for sound bites: "great sucking sound", "look under the hood", "I'm all ears", "You people (to the NAACP)"

He founded the Reform Party for his first run, then returned four years later to find that there were rules in place and that he was not the dictator of that party just because he provided their funding. He then helped found another party because he wanted the instant results that money usually bought him.

"No endorsement in 2012" accurately defines Perot. It was always about feeding his ego, not pushing the message of liberty.

I like Ross

he couldn't be bought either, just like Ron Paul.

"We can't solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them."

Message to Ross

Wish you would vet the 3rd party candidates. How about sponsoring a Perot Debate! Let the 3rd parties bout it out in front of a national audience. Let the Repubs and Dems beg to take part…

In my 49 years...Ross Perot is the only person I have voted for

other than when I voted for another RP in the primary this year, but I will not be voting in the election. I live in Florida and if you think the national election is rigged...you should read about the corruption in the elections held in florida!

W did NOT win florida in 2000, and they re-district all the time so that the electorial college system benefits whoever TPTB has selected.

Ross Perot is no Ron Paul but he was different enough for me to take the time to vote for the first time when I was almost 30 years old.

I'd love to see Ross Perots portfolio. He is so rich it would be interesting to see how much money he has invested in precious metals and which fiat currency he holds the most reserves of. That would show which one he things will disappear last. I bet its the Yuan.

Didn't know he was still

Didn't know he was still alive. What has he been up to lately.
